We used ABT electric to update our electrical service to 200A from 100A in a 1950s house in the same location as my old panel. We have a solar system with battery backup, and Mease was able to set everything up and minimize the disruption to only one day without power. His work was very clean, professional, and he was very responsive to my questions. Mease handled the permitting process with the county, and gave me instructions for requesting the shutoff/reconnect with PG&E. The longest part of the process was waiting for PG&E to OK the work, but once that was set, it was really smooth working with Mease. They ran new wiring through existing conduits, took down the old equipment and installed the new one in a very professional and transparent manner. I was hanging something last night and drilled through a power cable inside the wall. Knocked out power to the whole house. My girlfriend was ready to go to a motel for the night just to get internet, but I figured I'd call around for an electrician. ABT answered the phone immediately and stayed on the line to walk me through resetting the main breaker. When that didn't work, they came out at 9pm as an emergency call to help me fix it. They were courteous, and professional, and they made sure to clean up afterwards. Main power was back on within minutes, and they spent a couple of hours cutting open the wall to fix the wiring. The hole ended up being maybe 5"x5", and they were able to fill it with the piece they cut out, so it will be easy to patch. They were even apologetic about having to charge an emergency fee, but it was worth every penny to be able to sleep without worrying. So I just got my nest doorbell installed! I called last minute to get installed because I needed up and running by the end of the week!
