I place my order yesterday to make a last minute order for Valentines Day because my girl was in the hospital out in this town and wanted to show some love from a far. When I place my order online everything was smooth until I called up to the place to be put on hold for a very long time with no one to called back or nothing. Then I waited for a couple of hours to pass by to not get in touch with no one but the automatic service. I called frequently all day yesterday to get the same sound. So the next day I made sure to call in the morning to assure that someone will answer and they did to find out that they try to deliver but never once contact me or the deliver person it was going to, which the info for the both of us was on the order sheet. I just want to say this is the worst order I every did and will never do business with this company ever, if you have information on both party's why not contact either or especially the person who is sending the package. My most recent experience with Tarrytown Floral, however, has made me rethink ever giving them my business again or recommending them to anyone I know. I ordered a premium floral arrangement for my parents' anniversary through their website. The product description of the arrangement on the website specifically states, "Orange rose blooms and spray roses are arranged beautifully with just the right amount of greens in a lovely metallic orange ceramic vase." I bought this arrangement mostly because the vase complemented the flowers so nicely and thus I thought it was a little more unique than any of the other arrangements on their site. Needless to say my surprise and severe disappointment when I received a picture of the flowers that arrived in a short, nondescript plain glass vase. Noticing the "100%" satisfaction guarantee on their website, I immediately called the floral company (which was the second time I had called about this particular delivery as I made the first call to request a late delivery time since the recipients both work full-time jobs. I was told then that the driver only makes deliveries until 4 pm, so I settled with that. However, the flowers arrived at 2 pm). The unapologetic man who answered told me that the store does not guarantee vases and supplies. Even if this had been mentioned on their website (which it is not), I shelled out a lot of money for a PREMIUM flower arrangement-- the LEAST the store could have done was to have someone call to inform me that the flowers were not going to be presented the way they are shown on the website (the website asks for all types of contact information, so they definitely have a way to get a hold of customers). I am extremely disappointed with my latest experience here. It is a shame as I have given them a lot of my business in the past and am usually very happy with the results. The way I was treated here this time, though, was really displeasing. I will be looking to do my business elsewhere from now on and recommend others do the same. read more
