I went back for an adjustment (they give you 30 minutes for a free adjustment if you ask within 2 weeks of your original appointment) and the stylist saw the issue but basically told me that there was not enough time to actually fix the problem. Instead she made some other adjustments to distract from the issue. As my hair is growing, I'm seeing the poorly graded front layers coming further and further into stark relief. I'm working my best to style around this, but I will not be going back and definitely do not think the cut was worth the price I paid. I'll have to pay another $200 to someone else sooner rather than later. My 3 stars is due to good communication from the establishment, and that the rest of the hair cut was well done - except..... the front....... the part you want to be at its best..... I do not recommend any curly girl getting their hair cut here.

The result of touch up came out very beautiful! I did do the 3 to 4 step Milbon treatment as the first time I came here and my hair was soft for weeks. I honestly think that Joe does a wonderful job deciding and helping clients with the choice of color and he is honest in how much lighter a person's color can get. My hair was lightened to a level that I wanted, and Joe gave me advice on how to maintain the salon's treatment before the next treatment. The salon's environment was very very busy when I came in, and I was happy to see all the customers that the salon could handle efficiently all at the same time. The hair stylists and colorist keep an eye out to prevent the bleach from over processing and I didn't feel like I was left stranded for a long time by the staff while my color was processing. You can actually see the breakage sticking up like static in all of my photos from the event I went to. I am now extremely stressed about the state of my hair. and it ruined my night. And it's $70 I'll never get back. I blow dry my hair every week and never break my hair. A professional should know better to use protectant and turn the temp down for lightened hair.
