I came Tashi Brow & Skin Studio to have permanent eyeliner and am thrilled with the results, based on recommendations on Yelp. Seung is highly professional and takes her time to explain the process, the expectation for what the completed eyeliner will look like, and the post-care and healing process. I scheduled a return trip for a touch-up for 2 months after my initial appointment which was a good idea because I had some discoloration from a prior permanent make-up treatment that needed to be covered. The first treatment took care of the scaring and discoloration and the second treatment made it all even throughout. I went with the shadow liner effect rather than a flat line right on the lash line, with a small amount of purple added in during the touch-up. I was so thrilled with the results and had such confidence in Seung that I went back for microneedling on a scar on my foot. Seung is friendly and welcoming, her suite is very clean, and she takes the time to listen to what you want, suggest things that might enhance your satisfaction, and do the work meticulously. Based on Yelp reviews and photos, I booked my July appointment with her in March. But she was able to work me in in May. For the end result I would have gladly waited. When I first went to Seung at Tashi Brow two years ago I showed up with uneven, miscolored, very thin brows that we had to color correct, and shape correct, along with making them even. Before my visit with Seung I was using stencil and powder every morning to hide the "cheaper brows" I was now ashamed of. I was waking up my husband or sometimes my kids every morning before work to get confirmation that my brows were even and looked good. It consumed so much of my time and stressed me out. Attention to detail!!!! I did a lot of research before booking my microblading session at Tashi Brow Studio. I wasn't expecting to wait so long to get in but soon realized demand simply outweighed supply and that in itself is a testimonial. Good things come to those who wait. Seung doesn't treat her clientele in an assembly line manner and depending on what you're having done, your appointment might last around three hours. My appointment began by filling out a screening form to give Seung a clear picture of my skin history to help her advice me accordingly. After determining I was a candidate for microblading we discussed the type of look I wanted. I was very open to getting Seung's input considering she's the expert. We ended up going with the ombre powder technique since I already have plenty of brow hair. Next Seung took the time to fully explain the process and answered all of my questions. She went so far as to diagram some of what she was explaining and the science behind the technique. I can easily say after this I felt more than comfortable turning my brows over to her. The time she takes to measure and adjust is pretty intense. She'll ask you to stand, lay back down, takes photos and basically fine tunes everything before ever starting the tattoo process. The process itself is simple and never uncomfortable or painful. Numbing cream is applied where needed and for me, the hardest thing was keeping still. My touchup session was very similar except we skipped the initial consultation. Seung will determine when to come in for a touchup based on skin type and healing time and she was so flexible about fitting me in. Healing was similar after both sessions. My brows were very dark for the first three to four days then started to scab and lighten. You really don't get to see the final results until the third or fourth week. You'll leave with after care instructions and Seung will answer any questions. I followed her instructions closely and had no discomfort during the healing process. I would describe the most intense feeling as a very mild occasional itch that only lasted a couple of days. Seung takes pride in her work and is honest and upfront about the entire process. If she doesn't think you have the right skin type for what you're requesting or you want an end-result that isn't reasonable, she'll tell you, even if it's not what you want to hear. She's open to providing options and suggestions. I feel like this is one of those, "you get what you pay for" type of procedures. Everyone seems to be offering it and you can get it much cheaper but I feel like half of those people end up coming to Tashi for corrective work that may or may not be able to be fixed. Seung has a very narrow focus and loads of experience and education which is what makes her a true expert and artist. read more

I wish I could give more stars! Seung is a brow genius! Seriously, I don't know that I've ever had someone so knowledgeable touch my brows. I read all the Yelp reviews before booking and I wondered (as I usually do) if it was as good as it was hyped up to be. It absolutely is! Seung really has a craft. If you don't consider brow design a craft- it may just be that you haven't seen the difference between Seung and everyone else. She takes into account so many other things others don't- your face structure, proportions, and your natural brow shape.I have never heard someone take into consideration the surrounding muscles and measure to make sure the final result was great for my face- and believe me, I've had A LOT of people look do my brows. I put myself in her capable hands and the result was fixing my "surprise" brows into a beautiful, more natural shape. My brows look thicker, and I can definitely tell the difference in the compliment to my face shape. I love her approach, and after trying out the waxing, I plan to do a full permanent eyebrow appointment. Book early because she is BUSY! I will tell you it is well worth the wait. I highly do not recommend. I debated and held off on writing this review but because of the time and effort I now have to put in to fixing my brows myself I'm just flat out frustrated. I've spent well over $1000 on a correction process which shouldn't take any more than one or two sessions, maybe three at most, because I didn't want that big of a change. She may know her stuff- but the reason for this 1 star rating is because of how Seung handled this. I told her that I was not a fan of how dark the color is (keep in mind I told her on the second correction process after it healed 2 months later. And in the third session I explained to her it's still not the color I wanted). Six months later after this- the shaping of my brows now look awkward, blocky and droopy. When I explained that I felt like the right side hung lower- she suggested I go and get Botox. That should have NEVER been an option. I actually felt quite insulted because twice she said that the right side of my face is droopier than my left. She then explained to me this could take 1-2 years to correct. I understand patience, however my brows really didn't need to be over worked on this much. She even said "I actually prefer your brows this way." That is YOUR opinion. You don't go home with these brows every day. When I once again expressed my concerns and asked her if we could just wait to do another appointment because I felt uneasy she said "we can wait but I'm going to have to charge you another $300 because it'll be pass the 8 week mark." Are you kidding me.. that's insane when I've already paid so much money session after session with her. I had only asked her to hold off one more month by the way. Also, she became very defensive and blamed it on me that I had kept changing my mind. I really didn't want to argue so I went with it. However, I believe there was a disconnect and she truly did not understand what I wanted. In one conversation I kept having to say "look I'm not trying to argue with you, I'm just telling you that this is what I see." Anyways- I now spend most of my time getting ready fixing the work she's done. Truly wish I would've never came to her in the first place. I feel like my brows came out worse than they did when I went in. So disappointed because I read and saw how good other reviews are. read more

Yes, yes, yes! FINALLY, someone in Collin County who knows how to shape eyebrows!! You know that feeling you get when you find a beauty operator whom you love so much that you irrationally panic that they are going to move away or something? Yeah, that's Seung! I went to Seung for the first time recently, for an "eyebrow design". As others have said, she actually measured my face, and gave me lots of insight regarding what she saw (i.e., My face doesn't "fit" into any of the conventional shape categories...interesting!). She then proceeded to give me her honest opinion on what we should do with my eyebrows-- she convinced me that we should leave them on the thicker side, since I have full lips, and fuller brows lends to facial symmetry. Woah! Who thinks about this stuff?! I told Seung to go for it, and do whatever she thought was best. She waxed (nearly painless!), trimmed, and tweezed, for probably a good 20-25 minutes...completely meticulous! She gave my brows a beautiful arch, something they had been seriously lacking. She was exactly right- they didn't need to be thinner, they needed to be more shapely. I was so pleased with the results. I will definitely be entrusting my browns to Seung alone from now on! The brow design appointment was $35 (before tip), but when you go back for a maintenance appointment, the cost is only $25. Perhaps a little bit more than I am used to paying, but my eyebrows are on my freaking FACE, so I suppose it's worth paying a little extra. read more

Really unhappy with my eyebrows the shape is terrible and they are gigantic. I think I'm going to have to get laser treatments they aren't going away. Wish I never did this. Now I hate how I look without makeup and this cost like $600. I know they have faded some but they look so awful especially my left one (the one that didn't peel off during healing) , doing my makeup is really hard because it's so messy and uneven. The entire time she bragged about her training (10 years) and all her accomplishments. So this is the product with 10 years of training? It was supposed to be $500, but she kept pressuring me for different things otherwise "my brows wouldn't looks as good." My Mom paid $750 and left with awful sharpie brows. I guess it's just a big money scheme. I think most of these reviews are fake, so sad I fell for it. My brows did NOT match the pics on all her social media. Never getting mircroblading again, I'm terrified. She literally has no bad reviews on any social media. It's clear she is deleting reviews that people aren't happy. Seung is absolutely amazing. I was with her for nearly 3 hours and the entire experience was fantastic. Background: I over-plucked my brows in High School and they never really grew back. Fast-forward 20 years and my eyebrows have only become lighter and thinner with age. I was terrified at the thought of permanent makeup, but after some research I decided it would be worth it to not have to draw my brows on every day and found Seung online via all these other great Yelp reviews. Seung took a lot of time with me during the consultation, going over the different options, pricing, aftercare instructions, what to expect during the procedure and in the weeks of healing. She happily answered any questions I had and made sure I was comfortable with everything. When we were ready to get started, she drew her proposed shape on me and I'll be honest- it was bigger and bolder than the thin eyebrows I'd been penciling on each morning. However, she measured my face symmetry and bone structure and asked me to trust her. I am SO GLAD I DID because I am beyond happy with the end result. She far exceeded my expectations. The procedure itself was slightly uncomfortable. If you've ever had a tattoo, it's not quite as bad. It feels like little scrapes with some light stinging. I just kicked back and did some deep breathing while she got into her zone. She is a true artist and you can tell she is a perfectionist and takes great pride in her work. The procedure took about 2 hours, and when I was able to look in the mirror at the end result, I nearly cried. I know that sounds a little dramatic but it's true.
