We always get their Samosa Chaat, Gobi Manchurian, and Keema Samosa to start. If you enjoy some spice, the Samosa Chaat is the way to go. Its flavorful, spicy, and creamy. We also got their Chicken Tikka Masala. They give you a generous amount of food and rice so be prepared to have some leftovers. It's always very clean and beautifully decorated inside, with cute pillows and art. Definitely recommend trying out Rangoli Kabob the next time you're craving Indian food!

So I asked about their Indian food ... they didn't understand I was asking the region (eventually I…read moregot them to say "south") when I asked for details on the menu cuisine type... as I had never been there before. I am more a fan of the seafood from the northern recipes ...like Tandoori shrimp. Admittedly I was killing time until the Michael Blaustein show and doors opened at the Vic... so figured I should grab dinner at some point since coffee and a bagel had been it since 11am. I ordered the equivalent of a spicy giant samosa (Dosa) for $15... its an appetizer. Server took it to mean an entree of Chicken Tikka Masala. Jasmine rice and a giant saucer of sauce. Mediocre.. lots of sauce and about 6 chunks of chicken. Suspect it may have been canned and at $18 not worth it at all. Pretty annoying and underwhelming TBH. They didn't fix it either so no tip and shorted them 4 cents by just leaving $20 cash. Not ever again. Maybe other memu things are better but what the gentrification Belmont. . My old inner goth ass was stomping away... indignant. I can and have made this myself in 10m. So im feeling this was SO not worth it.

Seats and tables are comfortable and service is quick with attentive servers. All of their cocktails were unique, beautiful, and flavorful. -Gulabo (left): was a light and refreshing vodka cocktail super cute and pink -Pink Palace (right): mezcal that will make your heart melt, especially after trying the raspberry salt coated rim -Hari Pari: Reaallly good, I don't like gin so I subbed for vodka and I was very pleased -Let's Get Tammered: My husband was obsessed with the heat from this one -Punjab da sher: Husband loved this as well The dinner menu was a great sampler of what the restaurant has to offer and honestly we loved everything that we tried. Star of the show would have to be the fish basant, super crispy and with a little bit of heat. The vindaloo pork belly tonkatsu was so well cooked and crispy on the outside but light on the inside. Make sure to order garlic naan on the side, we wish we ordered a second portion to take home that's how good it was. Definitely check them out, it's being added to the rotation for us.

I had the J'adore 75 cocktail which had vodka, Prosecco, lychee and hibiscus served as a martini. I was nervous it would be too sweet but it was perfect. I ordered the sheet roasted cauliflower for an appetizer and had the vindaloo curry with braised lamb and asked they make it spicy. Usually when I've gone to Indian restaurants they don't make it spicy enough but Kama made it spicy! My friend had the paneer tika masala that she said was really good. Each entree came with a side of basmati rice. We also ordered garlic naan for the table that was very tasty. We went to Kama on a Saturday night so it was busy but our food came out quick. Laura surprised us with a birthday dessert for the table that was a kulfi dou ice cream that was flavored pistachio and had a blueberry chutney. I've never had that kind of ice cream before it was very unique. They also brought out lit up candles so we were able to sing Happy Birthday. This was the best Indian restaurant I've been to and I can't wait to go back!

First things first: reservations are a must because this gem is wildly popular. From the moment we walked in, the service was a perfect 100/10. My husband was welcomed with champagne, and I got the most refreshing rose non-alcoholic drink--so elegant. We chose the tasting menu, and every bite was a masterpiece. The papad with chutneys was divine, and that yogurt-based kanji drink was like a hug of flavor--earthy and comforting. The small plates were a dream: the vada pav took us straight to Mumbai, and the chili fish fry was bold and unforgettable. Then, for the big plates, the murg makhani was tender perfection, and the paneer dish was rich, nutty, and so vibrant. And let me just say--the naan! I know it sounds wild, but their naan was life-changing. We had both the chili naan and garlic naan--crisp, airy, and just bursting with flavor. We also got a side of dal makhani, which once again blew us away. The whole evening was a symphony of tastes, and it all came together so beautifully. I have to give the biggest round of applause to the chef and team who orchestrated this magical evening. Indian food can be so hard to master, especially in a city as diverse as Chicago--but they did it flawlessly. The combination of outstanding service, a stunning ambiance, and a menu that sings of India's vibrant flavors--this is now my favorite restaurant in Chicago. Every dollar spent was a joy, and I will be shouting about Nadu to everyone I know. Go, and thank me later!
