Haven't had Thai or any other Asian cuisine since I moved to Arizona so figured perfect place for lunch on a Saturday in celebration of Asian American and Pacific Islander heritage month! The food and service was amazing. Very welcoming atmosphere. I think they close after lunch for a break and reopen for dinner.. i didn't realize this until I noticed, they were sitting down sharing a meal. It appears to be a family owned business and I think that's awesome if so. I will definitely return considering it's close by my place and absolutely delicious.

Why am I just now being introduced to bacon fried rice...it's freakin delicious. Would highly recommend trying this dish. Spring rolls were average. Yellow curry was delicious. So glad my friend introduced me to this place. Customer service was almost great. Ambiance was comfortable.

I highly recommend Taste of Thai! The food was excellent and the service was top notch! The Pad Thai is outstanding! Don't hesitate to visit this wonderful restaurant. This review is my opinion about this business and you might find that your experience differs from mine. With that said, I highly recommend this business and highly recommend that people visit this business.

First time here! Dinner was delish, reasonable prices. The server was nice. When you check in you get the option of a FREE Thai Tea for Thai Coffee!!! Loved it. Even my bf who isn't really into sweets loved the tea! Cute small place. We enjoyed our meal and the service. We will return.

Service great, great food. Ambience is a little tough as this place does great business and has a ton of takeout. Best Thai i have tasted in Az. Yes it's in a plaza. We almost thought it was closed but saw a flashing open sign and went in. Small seating area but worth the time to wait for a table if need be

Authentic Thai cuisine served in generous portions with great service in a small and cozy sun-filled environment. You can designate your heat index when ordering, but word of caution their scale runs hot; even the medium level necessitated multiple water refills and a tissue. The veggie rolls were mushy inside, but the shrimp used in their various dishes are large and not over-cooked which is often the case. The Silver Noodles Salad, Pad See Ew (with shrimp) and Pad Prik Khing (with chicken) were all delicious.

This is a small restaurant with maybe 10 tables. There were a lot of pick up orders so I was hopeful. Sampler: the egg rolls were mushy, the rolled pork had very little meat, tofu didn't have any flavor and the curry chicken skewers tasted burnt from the grill. Not pictured: Pad Thai spice level 3 - which was good and had a nice balance of sweet and just a hint of lime so that the sweetness wasn't too much. Pad see ew: tasted burnt like the caramelized sugar w the brown sauce was burned and that was the only thing I could taste past the heat level (spice level 3). For roughly around $15 an entree, this meal was disappointing.

Small restaurant in a strip mall. The food was very good. I ordered Massaman Chicken Curry and upgraded to fried rice for $2 extra charge. The curry had great flavor and the perfect ratio of chicken to vegetables. I ordered level 3 on spicy scale which had the right amount of heat for me. Spicy but not to spicy. The fried rice was good but it had a little too much egg for me. Although, I would order it again. I would highly recommend. Great food and customer service.

This is 100% the best Thai restaurant in the area. We have been there several times and tried lots of favorite dishes, but I forgot to leave a review. Everything is delicious and the staff are always friendly, it's a small family run restaurant, and all of the food is so good. Our favorites are Fish Prik King and the duck. The Pad Thai is really good, but quite sweet compared to more savory versions I have had. I love the soups and I am always very happy to order a different dish each time. So far, everything has been very consistently excellent. Highly recommended!!

My favorite Thai restaurant in Arizona. My favorite dishes here are the Pad Gra Prow and Pad Thai. The food taste so good, especially with the medium spice!! The pad Thai is not super saucy but it's still full of flavor. The service is pretty good as well.

Stopped by here for a quick family lunch before shopping. Wasn't too busy since we went after lunch. Service was quick. Staff were also very friendly. Food was good, nothing spectacular. The sampler had a variety of their appetizers so if you're unsure of what to pick to start. The sampler (fried tofu, wontons, veggie egg rolls, and 2 chicken satay) is a great option. The fried chicken wings were plain. My kids enjoyed the house chicken fried rice... I got the mild pad see ew so my kids can eat too.

We came here for dinner one night we were in town visiting a friend and they were super friendly. We shared crab puffs and spicy noodles for dinner. Holy freaking spice. We got the mild to medium and I was on FIRE. (Please note: I like spicy food but this was not mild/-medium) lol. That's the only reason for my 4 star, be cautious of the spice level. Service was good, place was clean and we enjoyed a nice dinner!

Hands down my favorite Thai place in Ahwatukee. Stopped in for lunch and got a seat in the corner. Service was quick and knowledgable. I ordered yellow curry and my friend the thai pepper steak. Both meals were great. When in Ahwatukee and craving Thai make sure to drop by Taste of Thai!

Food is amazing. I would have to recommend the massaman curry with beef. It's the best Thai dish I have ever had.

From the moment we walked in, the vibes were great - our waitress was super friendly, the 90's playlist was hitting, and the food was DELICIOUS as always! We started with happy hour hurricanes, half a dozen raw oysters, and fried okra. First of all... they do NOT play with those hurricanes because that drink was STRONG!!! We almost ordered the jumbo platter, but ended up getting two pounds of live crawfish and shrimp with a few sides in their medium house blend. Perfect amount of spice - enough of a kick to satisfy, but still super flavorful and enjoyable. The ambiance was chill and relaxed, probably because they had just opened for lunch, which made it even better. Definitely recommend this spot if you're craving a good seafood boil!

We have been here on the weekend and also during the week - service & food quality remains consistent. Personal Fav is the Cajun Garlic shrimp then add potato & sausage for a good mix of textures & taste. My ONLY "note"....eating is a multi sense experience. Eyes, nose, mouth & Ears. The music did not match the theme or vibe, at times it was a bit jarring. Try adding jazz or blues type background music to complete the Experience . My kiddos will not eat seafood (yet, we will get there) so we get them a Chicken Tender meal and that chicken is so fresh & "tender"! Nicely breaded, crisp not soggy. Crispy skinny fries. Good job

I am drooling remembering my meal this past weekend at this place... AND IF YOU CAN'T TELL, I AM…read moreYELLING BECAUSE IT WAS JUST THAAAAT GOOD!! The whole experience with a 10 out of 10. My friend and I went for the all White party on the Fourth of July. It was so nice to see the array of white outfits, and even before that, we were impressed by the complementary valet (which work off of donation). We had reservations, thankfully, because it was a packed house. The dining area very much gives what it's supposed to, and feels very nice, yet fun. The franchise band was playing, and babyy I would've just came for their concert! That lead singer is a powerhouse, and altogether they really set the tone for the night and created such a special and entertaining ambience. The food was equally as stimulating. From the appetizers, my delicious mocktail, to the entrées, my taste buds were literally rejoicing. This place hit so many marks, really this is a must when you come to this area. My senses were in shambles all night long and I was in heaven! We got the Rockefeller oysters appetizer (so good), as well as the crabcakes and greens (also delicious). For entrées, we ordered the salmon and the ribs. The ribs were fantastic, as we are the sides of the carrots and creamed corn. The only issue we had this evening, was with the salmon. We were pretty disappointed, especially since our server really recommended it, and spoke to its flavor. However, when it arrived, it was really lacking said flavor. It was borderline bland. However, this was very quickly rectified when we spoke to our server then the manager. He was really pleasant and helpful, making it so that this was a non-issue. I will most definitely be back, and soon!

I'm giving this restaurant two stars solely because of the food and atmosphere. The food was…read moreexcellent, and the ambiance was exactly what you'd expect from a fine dining restaurant. Unfortunately, the service fell well below those expectations. From the moment we were seated, we felt overlooked. We waited approximately 25 minutes before anyone approached our table. One staff member came by to take our drink order, left, and then another server came over and asked for our drink order again. While I understand that servers sometimes switch sections, it gave the impression that our table had been forgotten. Unfortunately, the service never improved. Throughout the evening, we repeatedly had to flag down our server just to place our food order, request water and drink refills, have our finished plates cleared, and ask about birthday dessert options. We were celebrating a birthday, and although the hostess knew this when we checked in for our reservation, our server never acknowledged the occasion or asked if we were celebrating anything special. When our steaks arrived, we also realized we hadn't been given steak knives. We had to flag down a different server to ask for them because we couldn't get our own server's attention. Our mac and cheese was also forgotten. After reminding our server, it took another 10 minutes to arrive. Mistakes happen, but there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay, nor was there any effort to make up for the inconvenience. What was most disappointing was that our server appeared attentive to the surrounding tables while we consistently struggled to get assistance. On several occasions, we tried to get someone's attention as staff walked by, only to be told, "Hold on," before they continued past our table. I completely understand that restaurants can be short-staffed or exceptionally busy. My husband use to be a server, so I genuinely appreciate how demanding the job can be and try to be very understanding. If we had simply been told that they were running behind or short-staffed, we would have been much more patient. Instead, it felt like we were responsible for initiating every interaction throughout the meal rather than receiving the level of service expected at a fine dining establishment. The food itself deserves a great deal of praise. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well-prepared, and thoroughly enjoyable. We truly enjoyed every bite, and that's the only reason this review isn't one star. Spending over $700 for our table, combined with an automatic gratuity that we couldn't adjust, made the experience even more disappointing. At this price point, we expected attentive, proactive service to match the outstanding food. We left wishing the service had reflected the same level of quality as the kitchen because this restaurant has the potential to provide an exceptional dining experience.
