We ordered Uber eats! This has always been one of my favorites for Thai food when I visit. Very flavorful! Still super yummy! Only thing I found different is the Pad See Ew wasn't as saucy. Some reason I remember it being more saucy , it was like something was missing. But still tasty. We loved the fried rice and the shrimp! Overall super delish! We will order again! Thank you

So yummy! We called in our order and the lady who answered the phone was so nice. She told us about the special of the day, which was crab fried rice. Of course we had to get it and was glad we did. We ordered the crab fried rice, curry chicken, house noodles and garlic shrimp. All of the food was super fresh with great flavor. I wish I could bake my favorite but they all were. Just the right amount of spice and seasoning. A bit pricey but definitely worth it. We'd be back for sure!

I've been coming here for multiple years, whenever I'm craving delicious curry recipes. Each time I'm here the staff are so sweet and friendly. That alone deserves five stars. This place has become the small, romantic getaway for my fiancé and me (5min from home). I will always be coming back for their cuisine.

DoorDash delivery dinner. The Peanut Curry was flavorful, the Thai custard sweet sticky rice was disappointing- the consistency was wet & runny. It seemed like it was a frozen dish that was reheated in the microwave. Unlikely to order that dessert again

I've never had Thai food before so decided to give it a try. The restaurant has a small indoor dining room and also more space outside. Interior is decorated with the Thai theme. There is a tv with sports and the music is current pop hits ( which I liked). I ordered the Pad Thai and it was delicious. A huge pile of thin noodles with pieces of the protein I picked out (chicken). I ordered spice level 2 because I can't eat spicy food. It was sweet and delicious and I took home half because the portions are huge. Hubby had some rice dish with the beef and he ate the whole thing. He thoroughly enjoyed it also. I would definitely come back here.

    Combo Appetizer with Roach

Ordered Online tonight Wednesday 5/21 for pick up Combo App Chicken Pad Thai Thai Iced Tea Got Home with Food and began to spilt the Pad Thai on to 2 plates. Found a roach covered in sauce :( Roach had been cooked with my Food. Restaurant handled it amazing. repacked all the food with the bug and returned to restaurant. Restaurant returned funds paid. Will never be eating at this location again.

Thai basil has all the great thai dishes that people are looking to try. They are a good example of good Thai food. My favorites at Thai basil are pad Thai, green curry, and the ginger plate. I asked that I do a pickup which they are always quick at providing for all their customers. The takeout containers that they provide give you ample food for any any hungry customer. The ratio between the meat and vegetables is excellent. The food is very tasty and you get it hot.

So so good! The bad reviews are really a shame- this place rocks, and I've not only lived in Thailand, but am a huge connoisseur of Thai food in the valley and have been to 20 or so places. This place is in my top 3 for sure! Service is polite and consistent. Place is small and has authentic decor. KILLER lunch specials also - large portions, flavor food, lots of options, and low lunch special pricing. Check out my menu photo. Enjoy! :)

Very pleasant interior, and comfortable. Super friendly staff, and very accommodating. Had the Thai tea which was lovely, along with the green curry and chicken. The curry was flavorful, fresh, and left a great impression. Got the baby a side of noodles, and they were soft and cooked well. The restrooms were easily accessible in the back. This place is a definite new favorite!

For a lunch spot in the fly it was pretty good. We got there and it was empty, but slow filled with people as lunch went by. The host was very friendly and greater us as we came in. There is a lot on their menus so read and choose carefully because it's all tempting. We placed our order and it was out in about 10 mins. Very fresh and on target. The spice levels rary from 1-5. We got 3 on both dishes and it was perfect amount of spice for us. The fried rice was great with carrots, onions, and peppers mixed throughout. The pork was nice and tender. The peanut curry was creamy and coated the chicken. We were both very happy with the meal. There were a couple things we had a remarks. The amount of rice with the curry dish was not enough to correspond with the amount of curry. Ratio was not there. And the friend rice was good but there wasn't enough pork throughout. A bit more meat would have been great as the amount of veggies was much greater. Overall a good lunch choice and probably dinner as well. You get plenty of food so you won't go away hungry and the environment and staff friendly.

Delicious food! Fresh taste! A little spicy is the perfect amount of spice to taste it without the burn! Outside patio is awesome!

First time trying this place. Came in and got pad Thai with Thai iced tea. Asked for pad Thai a little spicy which was the perfect amount of spice to taste spicy but no burn! Delicious food! Even the spring roll tasted so fresh! Loved it all. The outside environment is really calming and relaxing. Can be alone or with friends and even family with kids. Definitely will be returning !

    Meh Thai fried rice

Ordered takeout from this place. The beef pad-see-ew plate we ordered was over cooked, disgusting, eeeeeeew! Fried calamari priced at $10 was a total ripoff, tasted like frozen calamari. Ordered tofu Pad Thai and it was bland and tofu were tiny pieces. Thai fried rice was meh... Save your money go somewhere else

The staff here are so kind it really made the experience of having to wait a bit so much better! The gentleman at the front door recommended a wine bar around the corner to wait at after we got on the list, which was a cute divey spot. The food was delicious, we loved the papaya salad so much, there were so many flavors of spicy and tangy, and the papaya itself was very refreshing. We had the Pad kee mao and Panang curry which were also delicious. For the chicken pad kee mao we requested it to be gluten free and they gave us the same rice noodles as the Pad Thai and a slightly different sauce which was so darn good! The chicken was very tender. When the Panang curry said it came with beef, I didn't know what to think but after a single bite I was a huge fan! So many flavors hit you at once and the beef was so incredible, it was falling part. I also ordered the savory cocktail option (I can't remember the name) which had cucumber vodka, fish sauce, mint, onion, and some other goodies, and wow! It changed my life. Highly highly recommend. Overall would definitely come back here, we were a walk in on a Saturday night and had an hour and a half wait to get in.

It's a small plate type of restaurant and we tried 5 different ones: 1-egg noodles with pork belly...delicious!!! The pork belly pieces were so tender and the noodles were perfect. 2-fried bamboo with sweet chili sauce...amazing! I would love to have a bag of these and just eat them like chips while watching TV...LOL! 3-stir-fry bok choy with tofu in a garlicky sauce...one of our biggest surprises of the evening! What a wonderful way to eat your greens, along with the most flavorful tofu I've ever had. (We actually ordered it twice.) 4-scallop crudo with garlic and lemon sauce...refreshing! I'm not a big scallop person, but these were so fresh and so good! 5-fried chicken with a sweet/savory dipping sauce...very good! The chicken came like wings, very crispy and juicy. Everything we had was incredible! Unfortunately, I'm allergic to curry and mango, so our choices were somewhat limited. I'm just glad we were able to find these dishes that were so awesome. The only downside is the parking. It's street parking, but there are a bunch of apartments all around, so the spots were very limited. There are some pay parking lots, but they're pretty far from the restaurant. Hubby drove around and did find a spot about a block and a half down a side street. But, to be honest, it was a nice little walk back to the car after eating. What a fun time and a delectable experience!!

My husband is a vegetarian so we ordered the following Section 1-NAW TAWT-fried bamboo. This was really good with a hint of spice but a lot for 2 people. We took some home and it held up great and crisped right back up in air fryer. Section 2-PAD KWANG TOON-stir-fried bok choy and tofu. This was so so. Not overly flavorful. Section 2-KAENG PHET FAK TAWNG-squash and eggplant curry. This had good flavor. Section 3-YAM SAI BAI-seaweed salad. I wouldn't have ordered this but my husband wanted to try it. It was amazing. The best thing we had. Really good flavors. Again a bit much for 2 people so we took it home and had some the next day. Also held up well. It's definitely worth checking out but make sure you make reservations. It's small and popular!

As a proud Yelp Elite, I decided to give this place a chance because the reviews were the best I saw in the city! The place was busy on a Sunday night and it is small but I never say customers waiting too long. There were two larger parties seated so the food took some time but nothing outrageous. We started with the calamari, spring rolls, and crab wontons. The calamari were the biggest I've ever seen and very delicious! Unfortunately, I did not enjoy the spring rolls or crab wontons. I feel like those are hard to get wrong but I was not a fan of the cream cheese that was used and it was a lot of it, barely any imitation crab. For entrees, I had the spicy basil and substituted ground chicken for chicken breast, my personal preference. I ordered level 2 spice but it was still a bit spicy for me. Trying a new Thai place is always hit or miss with spice levels so I actually thought I was being safe with 2. Additionally, the chicken was so bland. Some Thai places season their chicken, some do not and unfortunately Pad Thai Cafe missed that mark. My partner ordered the short rib curry dish and my goodness, it smelled like heaven and tasted just as good. I don't eat beef but had to taste it and it was divine! He also ordered spice level 2 and his dish was not as spicy as mine. Overall, the rest of the party enjoyed their food and there were good flavors there so I'd definitely recommend the entrees, not so much the starters.
