I have gone to this place many times, it doesn't matter which location you go to the patties are always fresh and nice! We went yesterday before closing in only chicken & callaloo was for sale. Patties are so fire they sale out everyday ! Go and try them out, go earlier in the day you will not be disappointed I promise!

Patties are always a hit and the staff is friendly and attentive. They're always hot and fresh, making it a great place to eat. I highly recommend it!

First time trying patty's from this restaurant. Nothing but good smells as you enter the door. This is definitely a take out restaurant. Service was ok I wish staff would smile more. Patties are flaky and fresh. We got Curry shrimp patty / chicken patty / and regular beef which was very tasty but not the spicy beef patty....... Sold out must be good will definitely come back but only to try out the spicy beef patty.

I would never consider myself an expert in Jamaican food and don't have the opportunity to eat it often but I really really enjoyed everything we ordered from here. The patties were hot and super fresh, we had to wait about five minutes for a fresh batch of beef patties and it was well worth the wait! We order a beef patty, a jerk chicken patty, a bread pudding, and a plantain tart. All of that food for $8.60, you can't beat these prices! My favorite was the jerk chicken patty! It was piping hot, had a nice amount of filling and a great, rich flavor. The shop is rather small and due to COVID they have no dine in seating. They are also currently limiting the amount of customers in side the restaurant to 5 at a time. We drove by originally and there was such a long line we ran some errands before coming back. Around 1pm we came back and only four or five people were in line. By the time we had ordered and received our food there was once again about ten people in line! But I promise you, it was well worth waiting in line for! I can't wait to stop by again to try the Ackee patty next time!

Some of the best Jamaican patties in Broward. You will have a long line and a wait. And they sell out of items often.

Delicious, authentic, and inexpensive! Two friends of mine who were raised in Jamaica introduced me, and I will definitely be going back.

Whoa. Best Patty ever. Pastry is crispy/flaky and flavorful but not dry. Meat is silky and spicy. Addictive.

So some of the patties are not spicy ? I don't even like jalapenos.. so need to know. Thx

They all have the same amount of spice, accounting to the worker.

    Is anything vegan?

    No.

Is there really a fish patty, and if so, is it actually good? It seems like a bit f an odd mix but I'm willing to try if it's worth it.

Taste Rite does not have a fish patty but they do have seafood patties. Taste Rite has a lobster patty and shrimp patty. They're made in a curry sauce which is very tasty and a little spicy but very good!!!

Island Tings in Miramar definitely delivered if you're craving real Caribbean comfort food…read more I ordered the curry chicken and it was exactly what you want from a spot like this. The chicken was tender, well seasoned, and soaked in that rich curry sauce. It came piled over rice with veggies and potatoes mixed in, and the flavors were deep and authentic. You can tell it's the kind of food that's been cooked slow and done right. The portions were solid too definitely a filling meal. Perfect if you're hungry and want something hearty. The restaurant itself has a cool island vibe inside with the beach murals and bright colors that make it feel relaxed and laid-back. The setup is simple cafeteria style, so you move down the line and pick what you want, which keeps things moving. If you're in Miramar and want real Caribbean flavors without the fuss, this spot is worth the stop. Good portions, flavorful food, and a chill atmosphere.

She said a few words in patois to the other woman. Next thing I know the other woman started preparing all the sides in a carry out container and then goes to the back for the jerk wings. I didn't leave until 8 o'clock with my order. It wasn't worth the time that I waited. The rice and peas and cabbage were delicious. The wings were dried out, hard and tasted like barbecue chicken instead of jerk wings. I threw them in the trash. Don't even bother putting an order in before cause you're gonna wait anyway.
