I have gone to this place many times, it doesn't matter which location you go to the patties are always fresh and nice! We went yesterday before closing in only chicken & callaloo was for sale. Patties are so fire they sale out everyday ! Go and try them out, go earlier in the day you will not be disappointed I promise!

Baker's dozen beef patties

Patties are always a hit and the staff is friendly and attentive. They're always hot and fresh, making it a great place to eat. I highly recommend it!

First time trying patty's from this restaurant. Nothing but good smells as you enter the door. This is definitely a take out restaurant. Service was ok I wish staff would smile more. Patties are flaky and fresh. We got Curry shrimp patty / chicken patty / and regular beef which was very tasty but not the spicy beef patty....... Sold out must be good will definitely come back but only to try out the spicy beef patty.

I would never consider myself an expert in Jamaican food and don't have the opportunity to eat it often but I really really enjoyed everything we ordered from here. The patties were hot and super fresh, we had to wait about five minutes for a fresh batch of beef patties and it was well worth the wait! We order a beef patty, a jerk chicken patty, a bread pudding, and a plantain tart. All of that food for $8.60, you can't beat these prices! My favorite was the jerk chicken patty! It was piping hot, had a nice amount of filling and a great, rich flavor. The shop is rather small and due to COVID they have no dine in seating. They are also currently limiting the amount of customers in side the restaurant to 5 at a time. We drove by originally and there was such a long line we ran some errands before coming back. Around 1pm we came back and only four or five people were in line. By the time we had ordered and received our food there was once again about ten people in line! But I promise you, it was well worth waiting in line for! I can't wait to stop by again to try the Ackee patty next time!

Some of the best Jamaican patties in Broward. You will have a long line and a wait. And they sell out of items often.

Whoa. Best Patty ever. Pastry is crispy/flaky and flavorful but not dry. Meat is silky and spicy. Addictive.

So some of the patties are not spicy ? I don't even like jalapenos.. so need to know. Thx

They all have the same amount of spice, accounting to the worker.

Is anything vegan?

No.

Is there really a fish patty, and if so, is it actually good? It seems like a bit f an odd mix but I'm willing to try if it's worth it.

Taste Rite does not have a fish patty but they do have seafood patties. Taste Rite has a lobster patty and shrimp patty. They're made in a curry sauce which is very tasty and a little spicy but very good!!!

Which is TO DIE FOR. I love sourdough bread and i swear i can eat this bread alone by itself and CAREFUL. May or may not eat the whole loaf myself. The cappuccino and lattes are also very good. Ive only had hot drinks here but i di think soon i will be trying their iced latte. As for the deserts i trying this chocolate covered croissant that was so good. This place is very busy. And it was raining so no seats outside and everything was taken inside. I made my order. And I honestly thought it would be ready super fast since I only ordered pastries-which were already made and simple coffee. We asked if we could open the umbrellas so we can sit under them while it was sprinkling. But they said it's a safety hazard. We understood. Maybe they can get some sort of awning outside because there really is no room. It was busy and took so long that I was able to wait for someone to leave. We got the table right infront of the window display. It was FILTHY. And very unappetizing to see while waiting for our food that we were about to eat. If you are going to have a display, PLEASE keep it clean. And if you know you will be too busy to clean it, just throw it away. I wish I got a picture of the lamp hanging there but it was also heavily covered in dust. I am curious what else they aren't cleaning. On to the food: Coffee: respectfully it was the most bitter coffee I've had from a pastry place. I would never order coffee here. I usually use half a sugar pack at other places. Here, I used the ENTIRE packet and it still didn't take away the bitterness. Not even a bite of my pastry helped. Such a shame. We waited a long time for coffee and it was poorly made. And expensive! I suppose "baker" is in their name, and one can't assume they're known for their coffee. Maritozzi: perfect! Soft. Pillowy. Not too sweet Cinnamon roll: soft. Pillowy. Not too sweet. Would have loved more cinnamon filling though. Croissant: buttery. Mix of soft and flaky Overall, the pastries were great. I wouldn't bother eating in. I don't know if I would make the drive all the way out here to visit again though.

It's a clean brightly lit, large space with lots of seating, making it a really nice spot to sit down for breakfast or lunch even an early dinner panini. The only thing to keep in mind is that it gets a bit loud inside, so it can be a little hard to hear if you are trying to talk. The food and drinks, though, are absolutely spectacular. I ordered the Croque Madame and it was delicious--incredibly creamy and filling- perfectly cooked. For pastries, I tried the dulce de leche croissant, which was perfectly crispy with just the right amount of sweetness. My friend got the Dubai chocolate croissant and she really liked hers too. To drink, I tried the pistachio matcha latte. It was a completely new experience for me and it was delicious. They sell fresh baked bread, panini and have delivery too. I'm very happy to finally be able to get a great croissant two minutes from my house.

I like to first start this review by stating that even if you are a table of two they add a 18%…read moreservice charge to whatever you're eating no matter what. My Husband surprised me by taking me to this restaurant for brunch this past weekend. As you can tell, the store is very pink from the pictures, but it's more pink than you expect when you actually get there which is super cute you know very picture cute place. My Husband and I did sit inside. It's a little small. It's not the type of place that you would bring 10 people or more. It's not gonna be able to see all of you guys together anyway they also have outdoor seating. Now going back to the 18% service charge I get it. You know everyone at this place works together. We had our original server, but there was also someone who was collecting dirty dishes and then there was someone else delivering drinks and making sure your water cup was filled. The service was definitely good. They worked for it so we definitely did add another tip on top of the 18%. I just want the people who aren't expecting a party under six to have this 18% charge to be aware. I wasn't that hungry so I just stuck to an appetizer I got a yucca bite with chorizo on top. The chorizo was a little overcooked for me, but the yucca and the cilantro sauce was delicious. My Husband got a burger and I believe it had croquettes inside of it. It was a cute touch and the burger was well seasoned and made to order. I also had the vanilla pink latte. Super cute and delicious. Definitely checking back this place again when my girlfriends come into town I think they'd like it. Definitely recommend if you're in the area of Pembroke Mall or you wanna have a cute quick brunch with your girls.

The ambiance is stylish yet comfortable -- perfect for a midday break or catching up with friends. We both ordered the salmon bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. We also shared the barbecue wings as an appetizer; they were good, but I'm already planning to try the buffalo wings next time. The lunch special was reasonably priced, service was attentive, and everything came out quickly. Just note that an automatic 18% gratuity is included. Definitely worth the visit -- I'll be finding reasons to work in this area ag
