Great flavorings! I typically love the syrupy kind of snow ones but wish I had asked them to go a little lighter on the syrup!

The best snow cones in town. Huge variety of dishes but the basics: ice and syrups are exceptional. Service always friendly and fast.

Pros- they offer a wide variety of food (for a snow cone stand). They also take cards and cash. I also appreciate that they have sugar free Sno cone options; easy way to cut calories and sugar intake while enjoying a cold summer treat. Cons- slow moving lines. I waited for about 10 minutes before I got to the window, and then 5 minutes after that after ordering. There was only one car in front of me so I don't understand the delay; especially since there were two women working the stand. Not terrible but a longer wait than expected. Also, my Sno cone had no flavor; as if there was not enough syrup on it. It literally tasted like VERY lightly sweetened ice. I hope this is because the flavor I chose was clear so they were not fully aware how much (or how little ) syrup was applied. I wasn't impressed with my first visit to this stand, but I would probably give them one more visit to redeem themselves. Mediocre at best. read more

I'm really happy i tried the Arlington location. The snow cones are delicious. I like the Tiger blood, blue raspberry and Hawaiian. The usual syrup application is too sweet so i have it reduced by 50% which results in the white icy spots in the middle and no rose design. The hurst location closed a few weeks earlier for the season and it's not as well maintained. The ladies at the windows are pleasant. read more

I absolutely love this place. The prices are affordable, the menu is divine and the staff is always super helpful and polite. Considering how hot it gets in Texas I'll be stopping by once a week, minimum. Nothing like a cold snowcone on a random afternoon. I've yet to try a flavor that I didn't like. When I pulled up to the window I saw someone inside but no one came to the window for at least 5 minutes. As I was about to pull off she came to the window and I asked if they were open and she said yes...it only takes a few seconds to pop out and say "be with you in a moment" so not a good first impression. If i could give them less than 1 star i would crappy service!!! We came a good thirty minutes before they closed and in front of our faces they turned off the light to state they were closed. They didn't even bother telling us that they were closing early or anything. I used to come here as a kid and get snow cones all the time from here. Let me tell you, this place is legendary among my friend group. If I bring this place up in conversation, I get the same delighted expression and it's hilarious. If you've been living in Arlington for a while, you've probably already passed it and didn't think anything of it. I'm gonna need you to turn around and go ahead and order a snow cone. Dont mind the construction around it. They're still open I promise. Also, don't order the nachos or anything else. Just get you a good old fashioned, grade A sweet and juicy snow cone. (because not to be rude, but bahama bucks has dry snow cones. Idk how but I guess they don't believe in syrup over there?) I've had so many different flavors and every time I've had a good experience. But my suggestion is either to get the orange dreamsicle, watermelon, tigers blood, or the green apple. But again, almost every flavor is very potent except for the coconut. That one is more for people who don't like the overly sweet ones. Now the service has always been amazing. The lady who usually is working the front is so darling. She's very soft spoken and is always so kind. I've never had a bad experience here. Now that I'm making this review... Trying MC Snow Cones has made painfully clear to me how much I should trust the opinion of strangers (Yelpers) over that of my own personal friends: That is to say, a LOT. I had heard amazing things about this snow cone stand in the middle of a parking lot from a good friend of mine who had attended the nearby UTA, and she raved about the super-fine ice. I yelp-ed the establishment as a means of finding the address before heading out, and was weirded out that there were only 2 reviews, averaging out to a dismal (IMHO) 3. Props to Portia and Luis C. for telling it like it is: SUPER watered down syrup on fine ice. The BF and I shared a Knockout (scoop of poor quality vanilla ice cream on the bottom, topped by shaved ice in your choice of flavors, topped by another scoop of vanilla ice cream on top), which we got in the "Melon" flavor"... i.e. flavorless neon-orange syrup that tastes nothing like melon and instead like... I don't know, sweet food coloring? Okay, I've been to MC Snow Cones dozens of times and it seriously is THE BEST place to pick up a snocone in Arlington!!!!! They have SUPER FINE SMOOTHE ICE. None of that crushed stuff that you have to crunch through. For those of you who have never been, you might have driven past it because it's a smaller brick building in the middle of the parking lot. You have 3 different places to put in your order - if you're not wanting to brave the heat, use the drive thrus on either side, or if the weather is nicer, you can walk up to the very front and order. There are 2 white tables at the front where you can sit and enjoy! When you order just a snocone they carve a beautiful rose in the ice and it's pretty awesome!!! Almost too pretty to eat! If you add any cream it toppings, there won't be a rose. My favorite order is always a knockout. It's like if ice cream and snocones got together and had a child. It's amazing. There's one scoop of vanilla ice cream at the bottom, your snocone, and vanilla ice cream on top. I always get half strawberry shortcake and half wedding cake. I am never disappointed. I've never had not enough syrup. They make it perfect for me every time! The service is always great too. They make the snocones quickly and you are greeted with a smile when you order! But the flavors lack the typical aspects, and don't expect to start eating it immediately as the middle of the Rose design that makes them well known is absolutely white, which is starkly contrasted to the red and blue snow cone I got... Very clearly NOT ENOUGH SYRUP WAS USED. But for the price ($2.25 for a large) you can't complain too much. Allow it to melt a bit before eating and the syrup will permeate all the way through .
