Wow. This is a hidden gem. The food is excellent. The service is great. The egg drop soup was perfect. The noodles were great. I tried the sushi for around the third time in my life. Very good. This place is just OK. If you are looking for quick cheap food, this is the place. The quality is what you would expect for a low end buffet. Most of the food is bland and typically sits out way too long. Ive been here a few times with the exact same experience. You really cant complain much because it is so cheap. I hate to dis a place but this is the worst Chinese food ever. We ordered out and were extremely disappointed. The moo goo gai pan had NO flavor. It was swimming in water. The lemon chicken was fried chicken pieces like you get in sweet and sour chicken and the lemon sauce was inedible. The lo mein and the pork fried rice were the only items we could actually eat. When I think of Chinese restaurants I think the rice has to be good I equate it to salsa at a Mexican restaurant. Product-1 star. Food was terrible. Plainly put there was no flavor and the rice was overlooked and yuck (no other words to describe it. Service- 5 stars. they were quick to help us. They were great with our little one. Made him smile. This restaurant is awesome! The food is great. The staff keeps the buffet full with fresh food and the waiters and waitresses are always professional. There is never a dirty table nor will you find food on the floor under the tables where they have not been swept. Great for the family! They should consider a breakfast buffet. read more

Read the reviews and decided it was a good place to stop for lunch. Very clean interior. Wide assortment of food. Place is very big on chicken, chicken, or chicken. Now the downside for us. Food had steam coming out of the serving area but once it hit our mouth...almost lukewarm. We didn't have a fan over our food so it stumped us. My family has visited Tasty Buffet four times in the past, and are on our way to take friends there tonight. We have enjoyed great service (it's a buffet: all they need to do is get your drink, provide extra napkins, clear the dishes, and bring the ticket); the buffet is kept well-stocked with fresh food; the hot food is hot and the cold food is cold. We love the crab rangoon; the egg rolls are crisp, hot and delicious; chicken teriyaki is sweet and tender; sushi is varied and tasty...everything we have tried has been excellent. The restaurant is squeaky clean, and I think that says a lot about both management and employees. We are quite pleased with Tasty Buffet. Great local Chinese Buffett in Floresville, TX. Friendly, prompt servers who natively speak Chinese, great food selection-including a "secret menu". No one orders from the menu very often, but the menu offers interesting dishes that they do not skimp on, the portion is very sufficient. Break the habit of overeating and over-portioning at the Buffett and request a menu. You'll be glad you did. The Music however, is a little over conversational level and needs the be turned down a bit and the choice of music could be something more ambient, like soft Chinese music or Lounge. read more
