I've enjoyed everything I've ever gotten there. I got the boneless spareribs this last time. They were great.

I ordered there by accident. I meant to go to the taste in West Hartford, but dialed the wrong number. It took me an extra half hour in time going there and back. I was pleasantly surprised the food was great the man and woman who were working, there were really nice. The portions were big the food was still warm when I got home after being 10 minutes late to pick up an extra 15 minutes to drive home. I will go back. I will drive the extra 15 minutes each way. It was a pleasant experience. It's a takeout place, not a dine in the kitchen clean and actually they were cleaning while I was there. Staying at a local hotel in the Plainville CT area. We decided on some Chinese food. The hotel recommended Tasty Chinese. Well, the food was Chinese, but calling it tasty is quite a stretch. Unfortunately, being from New York City, our taste buds are a little bit more discerning on what qualifies as Chinese food. We ordered the "Three Musketeer" this dish was comprised of beef, pork and chicken cooked in a garlic sauce with mixed vegetables. Wow! The Three Musketeers must have been raised in a sugar farm! Way too sweet! We also ordered the shrimp and broccoli, which was OK. We also placed an order for hot and Sour soup and received a free wonton soup because our order was over $10.00. The Hot and sour soup was also way too sweet and had the consistency of pudding, the soup was barely sour, the wonton soup was bland and devoid of any flavor and the wontons were flavorless. Our order also took about 1 hour to be delivered to our room. All in all very disappointed at this restaurant. BTW, they also serve Spanish food here as well, maybe I should have ordered that instead. read more

This is sad moment for me. As I've long been a patron of this greasy hole in the wall. On this night, after a long day at work, I called in for to order my usual. The woman who answered placed me on hold immediately after answering my call. Then proceeded to receive other customers orders. I thought -no biggie, maybe they're just busy tonight. She answered again and asked, "pick-up or delivery". "Delivery" I responded. "What's the address?", she asked? After reciting my address out loud she said "I'm sorry we don't deliver there" and hung up with out saying another word. I was appalled! She didn't even explain her reasoning. I don't live too far or in a dangerous neighborhood. However... there are other Chinese takeout restaurants nearby. Which makes one wonder... Is there a Chinese takeout turf war?! Anyway, long story short. Food is good but customer service is questionable since new ownership. Leaves a bad taste in the mouth. read more

I've been going here since I moved to New Britain in '07 and it was amazing the food was great and the owners were very friendly and thoughtful, it was the best spot to go to. until a few years ago new owners came in and the food didn't become terrible just flat out plain and the owners act as if we bother them or they rather be somewhere else. Overall a 3/10 food could be soo much better and owners can actually care for their customers. read more

Not bad at all. Ordered from here a few times since moving. Most recently had the pic any two combo for only $8.95. I got sesame Chicken and general tsos chicken with pork fried rice and an egg roll. All of it was on point. I also ordered something new for the wife for when she got home. Got the number 31.. Singaporean noodles.. Got it based on someone else's yelp review saying it was good... The chicken was very hard did not have much flavor and the sauce was very salty. I don't think it was fresh at all.

Just eh.. I enjoyed parts of the meal but I wouldn't order again. They said delivery would take 40 minutes and it came in 20, which was great because I was starving. I decided to be adventurous and try something new - shrimp chow mein - which the Internet informed me was a crispier version of lo mein. To my disappointment, chow mein is NOT noodles it is a white sauce with vegetables (my own fault. The Internet lies). I'm not a huge fan of vegetables so I put that aside. The General tsos chicken sauce is different than any I've ever had... It was spicy and had a strong flavor of peppers. Eh. The pork fried rice was standard / good / exactly what I was expecting. Used to be great, years ago! Now the food is sadly subpar, & the service is good once in a while! A few of the staff members are great, while more than a few are very rude. Staff aside, the food is not what it used to be. They dont listen to your requests. If you ask for spicy, you get normal. Not the first time I've offered just no review yet.... Ordered spicy beef combo player wonton soup and steamed dumplings Dumpling were 95% dough egg roll drizzled in Chinese mustard was bangin... Beef was was ok Won't get again had veggies that were with were ok but soaked in sauce... To many other places to prefer from to try again. If you want good Chinese food, this ain't the place. Let's start with what I like: it's close to where I live, you get your order relatively quickly, and most dishes are not a sopping bowl of oil. I stopped here recently to get an egg roll which I must have with duck sauce. It satisfies my craving. I haven't gotten a main dish here in a long time but if I did, I would order for lunch as they have pretty cheap lunch rates. They also serve Puerto Rican food (plantains, rice, meats, etc) if you dare to try. read more

If you are looking for cheap fast and good Chinese delivery, this is the place. Oddly enough the buffalo wings are really good here. They're really different than normal buffalo wings. All the chicken items are really good. I've had mixed experiences with the Spanish food. The plantains are good but the patties are painful at best. That being said, it's a cheap Chinese place so I'm not sure why you would expect stellar Spanish food. All in all I recommend. It's my go to Chinese spot because you get the most bang for your buck. read more

The second I gave the man my address, he said, "sorry we don't deliver there" and hung up. Now mind you, they've delivered to me at least 10 times! I order delivery from here all the time, both Chinese and Spanish food. The Chinese food is always very good with large portions and the Spanish food is always very good as well. For a Chinese restaurant, the Spanish food tastes very authentic. The delivery is always very fast and the prices are always reasonable. read more

Not too many Chinese delivery food places in New Britain are actually good but this place is great! The food was delivered exactly in 30 minutes just like the guy on the phone said. The was food came hot when it got here and delicious. Not soggy like most places and they even gave us extra sauce and extra soup. Most places give you like one soy sauce even when you ask for extra. I usually order my chinese food from a place across town, but since I live less than 5 miles away I figured I could give it a try and thought it'd be much less of a wait. WRONG!! I placed my order and OVER an HOUR & A HALF later my food arrives. The Crab Rangoon was AWFUL!! It was old and stale & of course they forgot my dipping sauce. For an entree I had the Chicken Fingers dinner combo. I literally took one bite and threw it in the trash. The chicken was tough and hard to chew, the rice had a funny smell to it, and the egg roll was super greasy. The only good thing about the entire order was my free wonton soup, which actually costed me $17.00 seeing as it was the only thing I ate. The food was absolutely TERRIBLE. I gave them 2 stars only because I reserve one star for the exception. I've ordered in the past and was never impressed, but it's been years and I figured I'd give the another shot. Other times the food has been greasy and unappealing. Last time I ordered steamed dumplings and general tso combo. The dumplings were as expected but the general tso had oil floating on the sauce. I poured off the oil and ate it anyways, not worth it. I was going to give them another chance tonight and was told they weren't going to deliver to me. That was their second and last chance. Delivery driver drove past my house three times. And then tried to deliver my food to the wrong house. When he finally pulled into my driveway - where I had been standing, next to the GIANT ILLUMINATED SIGN with my house number on it, he has the nerve to say "he wasn't sure what house he was going to - he couldn't see the number." REALLY? He asked me to sign the credit card receipt. I refused, saying I shouldn't have to pay for cold food. He said "OK FINE", rolled up his windows and started to leave. I flagged him down, and he rolled down the window. I asked him if he was going to bring me back hot food, he said "NO! I CANCEL YOUR ORDER!!!". OK. After some obscenities were exchanged, he tore off down the street. I called the restaurant about 8 minutes later, and asked for the manager. They hand the phone to the driver, and I ask if he is the manager. He says "No. Manager not in today? Wha happen?" My response was a "YOU KNOW WHAT HAPPENED! YOU JUST DROVE OVER MY LAWN, SWORE AT ME, AND TOOK OFF!" He tried to tell me that my credit card will not be charged. DAMN RIGHT IT WON'T! I WILL NEVER EVER PURCHASE FOOD FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN. Driver in the wrong, refuses to fix the issue, and then wants me to pay for COLD food until I refuse to sign? Nope. Done.
