This time we got the tea, General Tso's chicken, chicken wontons, chicken lo mein and a side of white rice. Everything always comes out hot and fresh

Excellent Chinese food! [[HIGHLIGHT]]You know that you've picked a great Chinese restaurant when 90% of its patrons are of Asian ethnicity![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This place has an extensive menu of American and traditional Chinese Cuisine! Fast and pleasant service and [[HIGHLIGHT]]a nice ambience for a restaurant in a discount strip center![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

For a while I had heard Chef Jiang was a destination for high-end Chinese cuisine, so when a former colleague was passing through CT and reached out to ask if I could grab lunch on his way through, Jiang was my suggestion! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Nice interior decor, good initial service, and I really liked the complementary Hot & Sour soup 'amuse-bouche'.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We each chose from lunch special menu. Being from Bflo., the like spice & naturally got Kung Pao w/ chicken. My friendgot a beef dish...yeah I don't pay attention, sorry ;-) Anyway, all was delightful, except a bizarre situation: I asked if brown rice was an option, and it is! Thus, we both ordered brown rice and unfortunately this was a curveball, as our entrees came out at least 10 minutes before the rice. Suggestion: while healthier, don't order brown rice rice ;-)

We had wanted to try this place for a while and finally got the chance. Arrived around 6pm on a Saturday - had a good amount of people already. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is pretty spacious and you don't feel cramped in there.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered: - braised beef noodle soup - mapo tofu - dan dan noodles - mixed vegetables - spare rib lotus soup - stir fry beef noodles Overall the meal was very tasty. The mapo tofu is definitely more sichuan spicy. The braised beef noodle wasn't quite what I had expected but it wasn't bad. Could have more flavour. The spare rib soup was good. Dan dan noodles was tasty and definitely had that kick to it. The stir fry beef noodles was not quite what I had expected and it didn't match up to the Chinese menu name or picture. The noodle that came to the table had Choy and bean sprouts in it, which is not typically and it was on the sweeter side. It was long bad but definitely not what I thought I was getting. The soup was tasty and was bigger than we expected - definitely meant for a bigger group.

Becoming my go-to for more authentic Chinese (Sezchuan) when I'm the area for work. Had the beef dry pot and a few apps, namely the pork soup dumplings and shrimp har gou. Dry pot was excellent - lots of varied ingredients, spicy, and kept warm over a hot flame. Apps unfortunately were not so good, definitely had a pre bought frozen feel and taste to them. Stick with the food they cook from scratch on site, and you honestly won't go wrong. My 3rd time here, highly recommended.

Salted egg yolk shredded potatoes. Delicious. Tastes a little like carbonara!

Great, quick service. The menu has a lot of dishes I hadn't heard of before and got to try several new flavors. I can't wait to go back and try more. We skipped over the Chinese American dishes (which I'm sure are great) to fry traditional dishes. Spice levels can be adjusted upon request.

Best Chinese restaurant in the Farmington area. They have my favorite scallion pancakes, dumplings and pumpkin cookies. Trust me you just have to try them. The service is super nice and [[HIGHLIGHT]]the ambience is one-of-a-kind.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I just love the decor![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Perfect for a lunch or a celebration!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant is nice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]We just missed the big rush.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Seemed like they were short staffed. We needed extra nap and had to ask 3 different people. Food was very good. Very much had an authentic flavor. We got some of the dumplings and I think those were my favorite. We got the soup dumplings and the shrimp shoumai. We also got the beef bao buns, a lamb dish, a beef with cumin, spicy fried chicken, spicy shrimp.

I ordered this as takeout and ate it about 20 min later. The food was still warm and the chicken still crispy. The chicken was a little thick on the breading but the flavor was good. When I picked it up the food I was greated with a friendly welcome.

Was not expecting authentic Chinese food during our work visit. This was right by our hotel and I saw the highly rated reviews and decided to suggest it for our party of 8. Everyone was thoroughly filled and happy at the end of the meal. We shared everything but I didn't try the lamb or beef dishes. I did try some of the veggies in the curry dish and it was delicious- had a kick to it! The garlic chicken was a bit meh compared to some other ones I've had in the past but looking at the grand scheme of the meal, I was fully satiated. We ordered a ton of dumplings as appetizers and half a duck to share. The duck was tender and all the meals tasted fresh. Service was good. We ordered a couple bottles of red wine and beers, which were served promptly. Nothing to complain of.

We didn't have reservations but were easily seated in a booth in the side dining room. Bamboo's menu is very deep and boasts Chinese, Japanese, Thai, sushi, tempura, Bento boxes and more- easily 100 options. Our group decided on a miso soup ($3.50), a Hot and Sour Soup ($3.95), an order of Chicken Tempura ($21 with an included miso soup), an order of Lemongrass Tofu ($15.50), and an order of Tuna Avocado Tartar ($14.95). I had the Hot and Sour Soup and Lemongrass Tofu. I judge H&S soup by its broth, and this was excellent. Deep flavor, none of the watery blandness I see more than once in a while. And it was hot temperature wise and fairly hot spiciness wise. It was meatless, but it packed a lot of vegetables, egg threads, tofu and more. The Lemongrass Tofu included a very generous portion of fried tofu triangles served "Hot & spicy with red & green peppers, red onion & mushrooms in a spicy lemon grass sauce" and a cup of rice. I enjoyed it a lot -the veggies were plentiful, the sauce had a mild spicy burn, and the tofu was tender and delicious. Half of the portion came home with me. I did try an onion ring from my wife's tempura dish and was struck by the lack of oiliness to it. Some tempuras are served with an oil slick in the dish and pieces that glisten like a sky full of stars. The tempura onion I had was great. It was very tender with a crunchy delicious dry batter. Service was excellent, from the moment we approached the hostess station, to being walked to our table, to water glasses and refills, to ordering, to several check-backs, to delivery of our take-out boxes, to the check presentation. Shout out to our server Alyssa, she was great. We had a wonderful experience at Bamboo.

Sidewalks were torn up but the place is hard to find with lack of signage. We were able to get seated right away, and looked through their digital menu. We got a smattering of dishes, wontons and dumplings, a sandwich and a ramen. Food came out in a reasonable wait time. We took pics and dug in. The 7 flavor dumpling was the star of the show. Light and thin dumpling wrapper, savory sweet sauce, plenty of filling. The pork dumplings were good, but the wrapper was thicker and denser. The twice cooked pork sandwich was pretty tasty, the pork needed to be more present compared to the veggies, but appreciated the crisp of the bread. The ramen had a good amount of braised beef and noodles. The broth needed a little doctoring to coax out some of the more savory notes. Broth needed more aggressive seasoning though. The price was not too bad for the area. It's kind of like dim sum, where you get a small plate for the price but it's all shareable and the flavors are good. It's not very well lit, gave the place a very dark air about it. But as a restaurant, it's pretty good. There's a lot of great places in that area, and this one's a good option if you're looking for small plates.

Inside is beautifully decorated, clean and staff was friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious, not everything was a home run - but not everything on a menu can be. The flavors were on point but a couple missteps in execution. But a solid 4-4.5. Our favorite dish was the seven flavor wontons. Wontons were super tender and flavors were on point. The spicy beef ramen was really good, but the broth was oily and too thin for our liking. We added some soy and asked for some hoisin - which made a big difference. Overall, We will definitely be back and try more menu items.
