This review is based upon both those experiences. I'll start with the wings. People have been telling me for years that I needed to try the Kitchen Sink wings at Beachland Tavern . I finally made it, and I'm legit mad at myself for waiting. The Kitchen Sink wings are one of my favorite new-to-me flavors in recent years. They give you an option of a smoked wing or a more traditional wing prep. I couldn't resist the smoked, and you really tasted the smoke flavor. I assume they finished them in the fryer because the wings still had a good outer texture. The sauce was tangy, with a bit of heat and a bit of sweet. Amazing. They'll tell you the components of the Kitchen Sink sauce if you ask, but I don't want to ruin it for people who may want to guess. Don't wait like I did. When I went for a drink at Happy Hour, I had a good time with my friends. It wasn't especially busy. Also, I didn't think they had a top tier craft beer selection. I loved the wings. The turkey was an entire thin slice of turkey from Aldi. It was not cut, just thrown into the bowl. How do I know it was from Aldi? I saw them receive an Aldi order while I was waiting 40 minutes for my food. I don't have a problem with Aldi, I shop there myself. It does make me wonder how much of this meal was made in house? Or was everything purchased frozen or prepackaged? My bowl honestly wasn't very fresh or very impressive in the slightest. It was indeed a very large portion. My guest had the tuna sandwich, with fries. He inquired about the fries, our server told us they were indeed frozen. He was not impressed by the sandwich either. It is unfortunate that there's a large sign stating "Good Home Cooking". Maybe it was factual at one point, unfortunately right now it seems like a marketing ploy to get customers through the door. I cannot recommend dining here. On a side note, their plates are not blue.
