ordered a donner kabob sandwich to go ($9) with Fries, an extra ($2). Waiter said it was fantastic. It was 7 Pm . He said it would be about 10 minutes -quick . They had two tables - about 6 customers who had already eaten and were leaving. A half hour later he brought sandwich to me and said they had given me rice instead of fries. Explained they didnt want to cook fries? Still charged me the extra 2$ ( didnt want rice. ) The meat in the sandwich was old and dried- maybe even overcooked in a microwave and very little of it. It was not a kabob but more Gyro type meat. (maybe this is the Iran way?). Over salted because it was old and dry. This was the worst sandwich I have had in El Paso. The lettuce was old , supposed to have tomato and there was none and the bread was cold as ice. I didnt open it until I got home. It got thrown in the trash. DONT GO HERE read more

Very new business that deserves a visit. Very authentic flavors, wonderful owners and staff. Eshi (the 'mom') chatted with us for a while, and made us feel welcome and at home. The chicken kabob was juicy, tender, and delicious - the beef koobideh (ground meat) was shaved, seasoned to a mouth watering perfection, and an ample portion. Went with a couple of people and we each got a different plate. Before we knew it we were all sharing our food and talking about how good it was. It's the kind of place where it's hard to go wrong with your decision, with the exception, maybe, of the yogurt drink. The owners were really nice and care about the quality of their food. Never had Persian food before, wanted to try something new. Service was great. We ordered the sampler and a kebab, they both came out really fast and were both tasty as their name implies. My god the chicken was amazing. It was overall a great experience, they even gave us a free plate of their lamb and beef to try. The only thing was the rice was bland. Though they have a special seasoning at the tables you can toss onto it that helps. read more

Make sure your chicken is cooked all the way through before you eat it!!! Also, the waitress with short curly hair needs to use gloves to pick the bread and baklava from its container! It's not sanitary. Maybe try a prong to pick up. The ad posted on the window shows that they serve bread pouch or some type of bun, which they don't so false advertisement there. I have been in El Paso for work and drove by it numerous times. Finally last week I decided to stop in with a coworker for a late lunch, the food was delicious and the service was excellent. The owners stopped by the table to make sure everything was alright and chat a bit even though the restaurant was super busy. After a nonexistent lunch today I went and got takeout to have a late lunch/early dinner as well as something to take to work tomorrow, once again the food and service was fantastic! I would recommend Tasty Kebob to anyone and will certainly miss my new go to once it's time to return home. read more

Really enjoyed the skewers of meat, the tenderloin was to die for and the ground beef skewer was extremely tasty and very good quality meat. A friend and I went in there for lunch and we were both delighted. Clean food with no greasy after taste, I highly recommend others to try it out. read more

Tasty Kabob is different from your typical cuisines found in El Paso as it is the newest and only authentic Persian restaurant here. It is fantastic in every way imaginable: It is a feast for your eyes as well as your tastebuds with savory dishes made to perfection. Of the two times I've been my favorite appetizer is Kookoo sabzi , a deep emerald green vegetarian frittata filled with herbs bursting with flavor. The main dish I liked was Soltani made of tenderloin filet marinated in lemon juice and spices. The lamb shank is just as delicious though. The portion sizes are quite generous and the staff is very courteous and inviting. I will come again. read more

While you can certainly get a quality doner kebab at this quaint family restaurant, you are doing yourself a disservice if you don't talk to the owners and explore some of their distinct Persian cuisine. Omg! Never again will I go to this place. We went as a small group and our server was indeed amazing, but it was the owner. She treated her server poorly, and we were all embarrassed and so uncomfortable. This was supposed to be a nice dinner with friends And instead made us have these gross feelings towards this place.
