    Loaded fries
    Diamond G.

I decided to give Tasty Picks a try as it constantly comes up on my UberEATS account. My order didnt take long to arrive but I do with it had been prepared a bit better. Loaded fries- The fries themselves were great but I do wish the cheese was actually melted and the bacon was hot. It seemed as if they made the fries and just put cold cheese & bacon over them. Shrimp Tacos- The shrimp tacos were the best part of this meal the shrimp was well made ! Chicken Nachos- The chicken nachos as well had a great taste but the cheese wasn't melted at all I basically had to cook the nachos upon arrival. I will definitely give this place another try possibly earlier in the day and not so late at night as they do have a lot of healthy options that I would love to try out !

A suppose to be " avocado toast "
    Sheila P.

This day was horrible. So ima keep it short. For about a week i was craving an avocado toast. I got it from them one time and the first time it was delicious. As well as a smoothie that was also delicious at the time. The second time i went back and asked for an avocado toast this is the bs they gave me. 3 very thin sliced avocado. No love put into this and when i asked for a kale, spinach, green apple and mango smoothie, this man gon put ginger in it and try to be rude about it like if i said ginger. Mind you i said it like 3 times to him for him to understand and still. When it comes to food i dont play about my shit. Especially if i wanted a certain way. Especially if its something so simple. Like how tf do u mess an avocado toast. And no i dont care if they still put 3 lil slices of avocado and called it a fkin avocado toast. plus the bread was mad hard. Ugh if i could give this place a 0 i would for that day. Never had a problem with them till this day. So idk lets see what next time looks like if theirs a next time. Once disappointed always will be after that or ima straight violate next time. Oh, and i was pissed the fk off because i drove from my downtown apartment to tasty just to get this bs. I was livid.

Gave this place another shot after being let down from a breakfast sandwich about a month ago. Had the Philly cheesesteak. Overall was sadly disappointed yet again, too much Mayo, gobs and gobs of it in place of the cheese. I opened the sandwich up and it actually looked like they had split a single American square slice and put half on one side of the hero and the other half on the other side. The meat was well overdone and no seasoning on the meat either. Very disappointed. I think I'll pass and save myself the time and effort before we get to three strikes.

Tasty Picks is an awesome establishment added to the Norwood/ Gunhill community. Located directly across the street from Montefiore Hospital, it is a prime spot for breakfast and lunch during a busy work shift. They offer hot and cold foods, my favorite is the salad and smoothie bar particularly. They use all fresh ingredients and portions and prices are reasonable. The only down side is it gets extremely busy, but that's only because it's such a great place. The establishment is clean and the workers are friendly and respectful.

    Hot sandwiches, wings, tacos everything!

Every time I'm working at Montefiore hospital I ALWAYS GO TO TASTY PICKS! This place is not like any other, there's so many varieties of foods to choose from i can bet that you can come here for a year straight and not have gotten everything on the menu. I tried to get a different thing every time i come, today i decided to get the chopped cheese on a roll and it was delicious! I've never had a chopped cheese so i don't know what to compare it to, i just know this one was good. There's not only sandwiches but also a juice bar and a salad bar. If a specific drink is what you're looking for, they have over 100 options to choose from. Honestly, i don't know how they fit so much in such a tiny place. If you're coming here during lunch time, expect to wait at least 15-20 min for your food because this places gets PACKED! The prices are also very affordable especially being in New York.

It was just as good the second time if not better. You can tell the sauce is homemade, not too wheat, but typical homemade sauce, a.k.a. gravy. The meatballs were tender, seasoned to perfection and did not fall apart. I just loved the whole presentation and the hero itself. I also asked for Eggplant Parmesan in a dish . Now the man helping me huffed and said I don't know if we have any? Ok it was the day before thanksgiving and the line was out the door and not shrinking. Don't take that out on a paying customer. I got it though and am grateful. The eggplant was 6.5/10 as it was not ripe eggplant and some spots were raw even after reheating in the oven. Deli itself was loaded with imported Italian goods. Plenty of variety. If you live in this neighborhood it saves you a trip to Arthur. The deli is very narrow so be prepared to bump elbows . There are a few seats outside.

In the Bronx, what was once a bastion of Jewish delicasies, there are few if almost none left. Save for Liebman's, who is still carrying the banner and flying it high for delicious, high quality, old school, Jewish deli food. Katz' on the lower east side may predate this little gem by almost 65 years (Katz' incredibly opened their doors in 1885) but this place more than holds its own and for MY money, has tastier cuts of meat than the latter. The waiter service was quick, friendly and prompt by a few good service industry "old timers" and that lends even more of a nostalgic feel to the joint. The fresh cut fries are amazing and remind me of those thick, potato, French fries you used to be able to get on the Coney Island boardwalk from the random food places OTHER than Nathan's soggy fries. The meat is lean and well seasoned, the pickles are crisp and cold and even the COLE SLAW (which I almost never eat) was AMAZING here. Check them out, you absolutely will keep coming back.
