This is small location with the space used to the max. The chandeliers are cute. The booth seats are looking a little worn. The service was slow and we did have to ask to get our water refilled, but the food is good. The panang curry was really good with lots of chicken and great flavor next time I will try the 4 star. The potstickers were good just enough crunch, I would get them again.

This is our first time here and we are happy customers. We ordered 5 dishes. The total was below $100. My son's fav was the curry. We got the food fast. The portions were decent. Parking can be dicey. So many tiny parking spots and the parking lot is so busy. If you park by qfc side, it's not as packed. Since I didn't dine there, I just took a quick look at restaurant. It reminds me of a cozy, family-owned restaurant. We will be coming back here.

Tasty Thai lives by its name! Dropped in with my girlfriend craving Thai food after a long tiring day of work and we instantly fell in love with this little cute restaurant. Decor is nice and simple but definitely the energy in there is what I felt gave me the best feeling before eating delicious. The lady who doubles as hostess/waitress is super sweet and her calm demeanor just makes you feel right at home and gives you a "Zen" peaceful feeling which is definitely needed after a chaotic day of work. After a quick ponder of the menu we decided to order Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao and to start our flavor jets the crispy calamari appetizer! - Pad Thai 10/10 Super super delicious and being Thai I'm picky, my grandma is a retired chef and this honestly gave me "ratatouille" effect and brought me priceless memories of her cooking! - Pad Kee Mao 9/10 Only reason it's not 10/10 is because the Pad Thai stole the show and if I had to knit pick the serving was a bit small but it was great tasting hot and fresh! - Crispy Calamari 100/10! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! If you love calamari you must order some of these delicious tender lite crispy deliciousness to pair with whatever main dish you choose. Some places have them battered too thick or some don't know how to prepare them so there tender when fried and they become chewy but Tasty Thai got it perfect! Will definitely come back for more delicious food because my girlfriend kept repeating that she loved this spot and the food was super comforting. Only thing I would change/recommend is maybe some low music or something to break the silence, but that's definitely not stopping us from coming back very soon! Thank you Tasty Thai

Food was better than expected for a strip mall stop and it was done quick! Hefty portions and the price was pretty standard for the area. Service was friendly. I added pineapple to my rice and hadn't known it would cost 2.50, tasted rancid...otherwise everything else we got was good. Things were spiced pretty well too, actually spicy!

Pad Kee Mao chicken spice level 5 YUM

Stopped in on a Monday at lunch and ordered Pad Kee Mao, Chicken spice level 5. I asked to make sure that there is no fish sauce and she said that their sauce isn't made with fish sauce. It was ready in the expected 15 minutes and took it back to work to try as I haven't been back for a couple years. Opened it up and was hit with the delicious aroma of spices and no hint of seafood ( that my last dish, Pad Thai had seafood overload ). A lot of vegetables and even at five level for spice it wasn't too spicy but perfect. Really in love with this dish and my faith in Tasty Thai is renewed as I know it's normal to make Thai dishes with fish or oyster sauce but my last take out order really turned me away from this restaurant. This meal though redeemed my new love and I will be back! Yum Yum Yum !

The staff were very friendly, particularly Ford and Tee who both sparked natural conversations, which was much appreciated as a solo diner. I was super impressed that they managed to give me even Thai restaurant recs in New York where I am normally based! Highly recommend. Pad Thai - The best Pad Thai I've had in the states. The acidity, saline, and sweetness all come through immensely bold as intended by the Thai flavor palette. Before I even took the first bite, I knew I was in for an authentic treat. When they serve Pad Thai with a spoon of sugar, that's when you know. The banana blossom is also a smart pairing, as its light and grassy to sharply contrast those bold flavors. Lemonade - Beautiful drink with expert craftmanship creating that perfect gradient of clear lemonade to the deep purple of the butterfly pea. Their menu has most of the classics, but it's fairly comprehensive with some unique options for the more adventurous as well. Most recently, I was able to walk in at 7:30 PM on a weekday with a group of 5, but we definitely snagged the only available table on the patio. My go-to's are the Pineapple Fried Rice and the Massaman Lamb Shank. Their version of Pineapple Fried Rice has a super strong curry flavor to balance against the sweetness of the pineapple, which I love. It's also definitely cooked on high heat so that it almost tastes smoky / crispy on the best way. The Massaman Lamb Shank is fall apart tender in an uber savory gravy. The roti isn't the flakiest version I've ever had, but it got a good crisp on the outside and is a nice carby vehicle to transport sauce to your mouth.

Indeed, this place is quite adorable, great for girls' night out or date night. They have a sizable full bar for the boozers. Service was fine and kept our water filled. The restaurant is good overall except menu prices run about a buck or two more than my usual Thai places. I suppose that pays for the decorations. Noodle dishes have a sizable markup if switching proteins at $5 beef, prawns, or $8 seafood. Perhaps they use higher quality sources. This location has their own parking. The Food: Crying Tiger, $27.95 - 4 Stars Menu: Grilled glazed marinated New York strip steak Super cute presentation that is also eye-busy, made me pause to think "where do I start." Beef is tender. The side salad is refreshing. Shu Chee Salmon, $27.95 - 3.5 Stars Menu: Grilled wild caught skin-on Alaska salmon in creamy red curry paste with bell pepper, basil I was bummed when I saw this. The fish is breaded and deep fried. I have ordered curry salmon from many area Thai restaurants. This is the first fried version. So unnecessary. The rest of it is good. I quite like the steamed broccoli to accompany the protein. Koong Oob Woon Sen - 4 Stars Menu: House special bean thread noodle with prawns, mushroom, celery in sweet ginger sauce I am a fan of bean thread noodles, aka crystal noodles or clear noodles. This is a common dish found in Thai restaurants. Bouncy, chewy noodle is served on spinach. Their version is less greasy than another restaurant that serves it in a hotpot. This visit is from first half of 2025. Prices are updated to current.

The fact that these were also coated in oil was pretty nice. On the inside, I thought the prawns were cooked well - they remained pretty soft and didn't appear overcooked I did feel like the spice was pretty much missing, though. I ordered 4/5 stars, but it tasted more like 1/5 stars as there was a pretty significant lack of spice that took away from a lot of the flavor potential. Speaking of the missing flavor, there should've been a lot more sauce added to this dish - either poured on top of the prawns or the prawns come sitting in it. The benefit of this is that it you can mix everything with the rice - and this sauce coats the rice to make it taste good. The way it's currently presented, the prawns are too large to really eat with the rice, and mixing the two will just result in eating the meat and taking another bite of plain rice because there isn't enough sauce to coat the rice. This dish just ended up being eating the prawns by themselves - the rice wasn't super useful As a result, after finishing I really wasn't that full For the price (around 20 ish) there are a good amount of prawns, but I wouldn't really say you're getting a good deal here

The restaurant was hosting an event, so part of the space was closed off, and service was noticeably slow. It took a while for the food to arrive. The khao soi was decent--not the best I've had, but still a solid choice. The Panang curry had a mild flavor with a subtle lime note and a touch of sweetness, which was interesting but not particularly bold. Overall, the food was okay, but unless you live nearby, it might not be worth the trip. If you do go, I'd recommend ordering a higher spice level, as everything leaned on the mild side. Good ambiance overall.

One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. My favorite dishes are the PHAD SEE EIW with chicken ($16.25) and the THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD (cooked medium) ($20.50). The PHAD SEE EIW has the perfect sauce balance of sweet and savory flavors and comes with broccoli and carrot. The noodles are super long and wide so you know they are fresh and not from the box. The THAI GRILLED BEEF SALAD definitely has a kick to it. This dish comes with raw cucumbers, carrots, onions, and basil and is served in a tangy and umami fish sauce vinegar mix. The beef is extremely tasty, tender, and well-marinated. This past visit, my friends and I also tried two new dishes that I've never had at Isarn before- their CHIANG MAI NOODLES (aka Khao Soi) ($17.25) and the MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL ($16.50). The CHIANG MAI NOODLES were beautifully presented with a nest of crunchy egg noodles on top of a creamy yellow curry with soft egg noodles underneath. It was served with pickled mustard cabbage and onions for extra punch of flavor. The MINCED LAMB WITH THAI BASIL reminded me of Vietnamese larb. However, this dish was more savory and less tangy than larb and the basil really shined through. It is quite oily though so make sure to enjoy it with a side of JASMINE RICE ($2.75). Portions are generous for all dishes and I always leave with leftovers. The atmosphere is modern, clean, and trendy. It's a great place for catching up with friends and not too loud. I will say the restaurant is a bit on the darker side, but that's just how they set the ambiance. Service was good and we got our food promptly within 15-20 minutes after ordering. It took a bit of time to waive the waiter down for to-go boxes, but they were attentive otherwise. Note that Isarn doesn't take reservations and it's street parking only. However, they have a waiting list kiosk inside the restaurant and so if they're busy, you can sign up for notifications and walk around the downtown Kirkland shops while you're waiting. Luckily, we just got the next one available, but felt like a needlessly stressful experience. Jumbo Firecracker Prawns (4.25/5): Spring rolls and shrimp had a baby. Crunchy outside with tender shrimp and sweet chili sauce - a perfect appetizer to share. Isarn Fried Rice (4.25/5): A fried rice unlike any other. Was my personal favorite dish of the night. The rice kernels were separated into individual grains and coated in grease in the best way possible. I'm a kale hater, but the combination with salted eggs and the purposefully chewy fried steak pieces was just super delicious! Northern Style Sweet Curry (3.75/5): The curry itself is fantastic: super balanced between savory, fragrant, and sweet. The steak chunks unfortunately were just a bit overcooked and chewy. Durian Sticky Rice (4.25/5): Sticky rice has a super satisfying chew and I appreciated that the sauce wasn't overly sweet. Durian itself was sweet and creamy with just a touch funk. If you've never had durian before, this is a fantastic intro.
