The ice cream is fantastic along with the food and service. It is a bit of a wait during busy times but it's SOOO worth it!!

Crafton Ice Cream Delite is a cute little roadside stand, window only service, with a few tables outside for seating. I stopped by for ice cream, but noticed they have a full menu of savory items as well. I ordered a single scoop of coffeehouse cookies and cream. It was an extra $0.50 to pay with a card, but the prices are already very fair so it wasn't an issue at all. I waited maybe a minute and then my ice cream was ready at the next window. The service is prompt and friendly. The only downside is the parking lot is situated at a weird angle to the road that it's on. If you pull head in to the spot, it's very difficult to pull out again without worrying about all of the oncoming traffic and the line of cars waiting right behind you for the light to change at the intersection. read more

Ik this is an ice cream place, but their chicken salads are SO GOOOD!!! The chicken is so tender! And they give you a big salad for $10. The strawberry milkshakes are also fire, the twists are too, it's a really good price for everything, i would say it's similar to small town pricing and those kind of vibes, Definitely one of my favorite ice cream spots. read more

Love this place!! It's so good truly not much you can go wrong with in terms of their ice cream (have not tried the food) the service is quick and they are all very kind. Finally stopped at this cute little ice cream & food stand in Crafton. I had a dipped cone, which was delicious, but it was super melty (especially since it was around 65 degrees outside so it was not the heat). I assume their soft serve machine wasn't quite cold enough. Regardless, I'll be back. They have a huge menu including hotdogs, burgers, sandwiches, salads, apps and plenty of sweet treats. read more

Stopped here for lunch yesterday. It was hot yesterday so I ordered a Turkey, Swiss, and Bacon Hoagie and an order of fries. Waited almost 15 minutes for my food. Drive back to my job site to eat. Pulled out the container of fries and thought "these are light". When I opened them I immediately thought.......3 bucks for these??? Then I graced the sammich. I noticed the wrapper felt warm. When I opened the wrapper I saw that it wasn't even cut in half. I had to tear it in half. I also noticed they fried up the turkey in a pan. Who TF heats up lunch meat in a frying pan? It dries out the meat!!!! I can see if the slices of turkey are thick cut actual turkey breast, but this was thin sliced deli meat. Lunch definitely wasn't satisfying and kinda disappointing!!!! read more

What a hidden gem! After a disastrous attempt to get appetizers nearby, we settled on this place. Honestly I was craving a root beer float and I knew they had to have one. They did and it was terrific! We noticed their extensive menu and decided to make a trip back for dinner the next night. Since then, it's become a regular spot for us. Their chili is out of this world! No matter what you get it on, you'll love it. I love their hot dogs, especially the Hawaiian dog. It's perfectly done with just the right amount of pineapples and cayenne pepper. Their ice cream sundaes and splits are huge, they barely fit in the containers. The service is quick, efficient, and best of all so friendly. Prices are really cheap for how much food you get. This will remain a spot for us for some time to come! read more

This place has changed hands so many times in the past but the past year or so has gone by this name. This is an outdoor fast casual place to get food, ice cream and yep even Dole whips! The regular ice cream is made by Dean's and you are permitted to sample the limited selection of flavors. The soft serve ice cream is by Dole whips. You can get the standard flavors or you can get pineapple flavored much like I used to get when I visited the Magic Kingdom in Disney World years ago for much less than you would at a theme park. Specials are on a small board outside the ordering stand but they do specialize in Nathan's hot dogs. You can also get burgers and even fish sandwiches here for a reasonable price. After sampling a few flavors I decided to go with the fudge brownie delight. One scoop alone runs about $3.50 but I guarantee you that you get above and beyond what they would consider a scoop. They have all your other frozen treats as well including shakes and slushies, etc. The menu board is extensive. There are a couple of tables for outside seating but parking is extremely limited. I sat in my car to enjoy my first ice cream stand of the year. The flavor didn't disappoint and was indeed very filling. I did not inquire about a rewards program but will on my next visit. Located at 38 West Steuben St near the Crafton/Ingram shopping plaza they have limited on premise parking or if you are in the vicinity you can walk from the shopping plaza. read more

Honestly a hidden gem - good food & affordable prices. I've had the swirls a few times (similar to a DQ blizzard) and I love that you can get chocolate ice cream & they definitely don't skimp on mix-ins. If I could give this little place 10 stars, I would! We visited from Louisiana over the 4th of July holiday and stumbled upon this little gem looking for an after dinner treat. And it certainly was a great treat! The girls working inside were super patient with us trying to figure out the menu and were all too eager to serve us. The ice cream was great quality, the scoops were large scoops and the Reese's snowstorm was delicious! If we visit Pittsburgh again, we will certainly make it a point to visit Crafton's Ice Cream Delite! read more

Fantastic little ice cream shop. On my first visit, I ordered a malted milkshake, and it actually had a good amount of malt in it unlike other similar places I've tried. Second time around, I ordered the peach cobbler sundae, and the half I ate was AMAZING. The soft serve was so creamy and the toppings were rich and crunchy. It was so huge that I had to put the other half in the freezer for later. I just moved to Crafton and I'm sure this will become a summer staple! read more
