I have been here a handful of time but it was my first time dining in. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I like the ambiance, it's very chill and casual but still warm enough for a date night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was decent, and she helped with all of our questions. I order sushi and chicken pad Thai but personally I felt like the sushi was slightly overpriced and the quality was not there. My pad Thai sauce was a more pink color than the brown golden color it should be however the camera didn't capture it. It was still good and I'd say more sweet than expected. I would go again, for drinks and to share a plate to enjoy food at a low pressure environment.

Tataki Asian Bistro in Lauderhill is an amazing restaurant. We have been going to this place for years and the food never disappoints. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The restaurant itself has a warm atmosphere with soft lighting.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]You can sit at the sushi bar, booths or even a low top table on the floor with pillows for the real experience.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]In addition to the booths, they have tables and chairs that can be put together to accommodate larger parties.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It is a fair priced restaurant that features Sushi, Chinese dishes and even Thai dishes. The sushi is always fresh as one would hope for when eating sushi. (lol) They have a huge variety of rolls for the most picky of sushi lovers. I went there last evening with my son for his birthday. He started with an Ebi shumai appetizer. You can get it steamed or fried. I had the Tuna Youke in Kimchee sauce appetizer. For the main my son ordered a rainbow roll and I had the KC roll which is an appetizer as my main. Enjoyed a nice 22oz Sapporo beer with dinner. I don't do Sake, but my friends do and they have a few nice selections. The service is always great. The wait staff is always attentive and greet you with a smile. They are open 7 days a week. If you are looking for a great sushi experience this hidden gem is it!

Heading back north from Davie, we were fighting some rush hour traffic and decided to stop for an early dinner. Many, many years ago we used to frequent a favorite sushi restaurant in this area. We thought we'd go to that old location, and see what was there. It's now an Asian fusion restaurant -- there's sushi as well as Chinese dishes and even a few Vietnamese ones. We didn't realize they had a happy hour menu until it was pointed out by the waitress. We opted to select a couple items from it -- including my husband's two for one hot sake. We ordered first a harusame salad from their regular menu. We used to get this years ago -- but many places do it differently. This one had the crispy rice noodles, but no pieces of lettuce. Instead, it had (green) marinated seaweed salad on top. The noodles were mixed with sriracha sauce so it was a bit spicy -- but tasty. The two items for the happy hour menu we got were their California roll and their salt and pepper shrimp. Both items were larger than expected. We ate all the California roll and took part of the shrimp dish home as it would keep better for later dining. The California roll had ripe avocado, cucumber, and krab in it. It was pretty good. The salt and pepper shrimp was out of the shell and coated in tempura batter. I'm used to having it in the shell and very lightly battered and fried. This version came with chopped peppers a d onions. It was good but not as expected. Just fyi there is no seating allowed at the sushi bar right now. There are plenty of tables on the lower level. It's dimly lit inside and for some that could be romantic. The food was good and the prices exceptional -- especially what we had for happy hour. We will be back.

Yuummy! My husband and I ordered delivery, and we were very satisfied with our meal. In the era of Covid deliveries, we have gotten several orders delivery incorrectly from other places, but this was perfect, on time, and delicious. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, one of my favorite meals. I've had a lot of tofu pad thai in the South Florida area, and this has to be one of my favorites. It was the perfect sweetness, just the right amount of sauce, and the cooked onions and chives added some savory delishiousness to each bite. The tofu was served in long stripes--I have never had it served that way, but I liked it. It made it a hearty meal and I could only eat 1/3 of it...yah for leftovers! My husband ordered 3 sushi rolls that were only $5 a piece, so it was a great value. We will definitely be ordering again and look forward to dining in one day!

Liked it so much I ordered it again.

I think this is the second time I ordered from Tataki Asain bistro for delivery. The first time was great and this second time was just as good. My order had no items missing, was well packed. And the food was delicious. I like that Tataki Asian Bistro has a variety of Asain food: Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Apologies if I left something out, but those are my favorites This order though was mostly sushi, 5 hand rolls and one of those rolls wrapped in thinly slice cucumber. All was good. We also ordered 2 Miso soups. The portions for the soup for the price was outstanding. And the soup was full of tofu and seaweed and really delicious. We also ordered a pint of shrimp fried rice which was just as good. I wouldn't say the food was gourmet, but what I will say is that it was filling, delicious and I will definitely be ordering from here again the next time I get that craving. For the price and the portions alone I'd give four stars. The food though in my opinion was also a solid 4.

I haven't been here in a long time since my mom had an odd experience here years ago when we were here. This time I came for take out and I got a highly recommended Spicy Tuna Rainbow Roll... Let me see how I can put this... This has to be one of the tastiest sushi rolls I've had in a long long time. It was ridiculous. I am literally planning on selling my wife on a dinner date here this weekend because I've got to try more sushi rolls here. This spot has my respect! Ciao Down!

Everything was great per usual. Restaurant was a bit busy and it took a while to get our check since there was one waitress. However, we sat in front of the sushi bar and one of the employees noticed and had someone come give us the check.

One of our best sushi place to have sushi's for our families of 8. Cozy restaurant atmosphere with great service. All the sushi rolls we ordered were exceptional good. My favorite was the Tataki Heat roll, and even my youngest son of 7y wants more. Big thumbs up for the sushi chef . Highly recommend this restaurant !

Ok, so I came to this place with a Groupon, that was just about to expire, this is the only reason I knew about this place. I guess this is one thing you can thank Groupon about. It introduces you to places you normally would not find. Qe came in on a weeknight and it was very slow. Just a couple of other couples besides us. I ordered a half carafe of Plum wine. Very sweet... I loved it! We got Beef Satay as appetizer. It was so good. The sauce made it for me. I also got an off the chain roll and it was amazing! There was tuna, salmon, tempura, some sauce that was mayo based. I loved it!! Service was fine. The waitress (who might have bee the owner) was efficient, not overly friendly but checked in all the boxes. Overall it was a great experience. I loved the food and I would definitely come back.

Thai Curry Restaurant is such a hidden gem in Tamarac!…read more I treated my FIL and husband to Thai food during our Thanksgiving weekend visit. There was plenty of parking. We were greeted immediately and sat down at a clean table. We all ordered a Thai tea which was incredibly reasonably priced at only $3.50 a glass. My FIL and I also ordered a Tom Kha soup (his had shrimp, mine was chicken). He ordered cashew nut sauce with pork, my husband ordered tofu basil noodles, and I ordered tofu Massaman curry. Everything tasted great and my Massaman curry was one of the best I've ever had! It was different with sweet potato in it but the sauce was so flavorful. We all enjoyed our meals and had enough to take home. I spent (with tip), less than $80 for all of us to have 2 meals each. The portions are big enough to have a second meal! The staff here are all very nice and quick, too. We didn't have any issues with our orders and they were very attentive. Thai Curry Restaurant...5 stars!

I'll definitely be ordering again and would absolutely recommend if you're looking for a solid Pad Thai fix!

When I saw the yelp reviews, I was super excited to try this place out. My mom and I came around 6:30ish tonight (Friday night) and the place was completely empty. We were immediately greeted and told to pick any table we wanted. There were 5 4-top tables inside the restaurant as well as counter seating, however, it doesn't seem they use the counters for serving as they were full of to-go orders and other things. I'm sure if they were full they would make room. The place is nice and homey and decorated super cute. It's a small restaurant but comfortable. By the time we were finishing up all the tables were full and it was still a reasonable volume. Our server was the nicest woman ever! She was super attentive even while taking care of every single table in the restaurant. She was extremely nice and super helpful. There's not one bad thing to say about her. We decided to order the sashimi appetizer, the miso soup, the paradise roll, and 6 pieces of sushi from the a la carte menu as well as a small side of fried rice. We also got one of the cold sake bottles and a glass of the house white wine (Chardonnay). First, the sake bottle was so cute it was pink and our server placed it in a wine cooler type thing to keep it cold. My wine glass was huge and filled to the top! It was more like 2-3 glasses of wine rather than 1 which I loved! As for the food, my favorite dishes were the fried rice, the paradise roll, and the miso soup. The sashimi appetizer was good, however, the fish was slightly fishy tasting which in my mind means it's not as fresh as it could be. It was still good just tasted slightly off than what I'm used to. As for my a la carte sushi pieces I got the salmon, tuna, ika, ebi, octopus, and tamago. I have a few things to mention regarding these pieces. First of all, I know some people may say this is a weird thing to complain about but the fish pieces were far too large. Compared to the amount of rice, the fish pieces were overtaking the rice. Second, some of the pieces of fish again tasted not as fresh as they could be, with some of the fish being so tough I couldn't even chew it (specifically the squid and the octopus). These fish are supposed to be like butter from experience. All in all, I had a great experience and the food was overall really good, just not sure if I would order sushi again next time. I feel like I'll try out the Thai food menu next.

It was a jumbo tray with a full pineapple, fried rice, flavorful meat, and an appetizer. I do not recall because it's been a while. At that point, I would have given this place five stars because we had good service. But the second time around, I came with a girlfriend, and it was disappointing. Because I had a good time the first time, I thought she would like it too, and assumed all the other menu items would be up to par along with the customer service... But it was a stark difference from the last visit. We took our time perusing through the menu, which is large and had good variety, so it took us a while to finally decide. But I was perplexed why we never got the platter menu so after some time, I asked our waitress for the menu and she said "Oh whoops, I should've given that first!" That already was a red flag because if that's the first menu for us to see, in which it was the first menu I saw last time, it tells me their platters are the best sellers and the rest of the menu are mid... My friend ordered the chicken teriyaki and she wasn't pleased. I thought it's perhaps because she chose a simpler dish, but when she offered me to try it, I can see why she disliked it... The chicken was unbearably dry and lacked flavor. I got the Hong Kong noodles with beef and it wasn't bad. We shared egg rolls before our meals which were OK, but I never received my tom yum soup. The service was slow and the waitress was not attentive at all. It was a little busier with several tables filled compared to my last visit, but we saw a party of three arrive 20 minutes after us and they were able to leave before we finished our dinner, so that made us feel like we were an afterthought. So with that experience, I bring my stars down to 3 and recommend that if you do visit, the large sharable platters are the only things worth it there. As you've read in my experience, customer service is hit or miss. It looks like a trendy spot with each booth having a neon-lit quote, so I'll give it that. The platters looked very trendy and aesthetic, but the apps and meals we had from the regular menu did NOT look trendy or aesthetic at all. It seems that they only focus their creativity and energy on those three platters.
