I've been to this place more than five times and each time the food is amazing delicious fresh and comes out pretty quickly. I have been here a handful of time but it was my first time dining in. I like the ambiance, it's very chill and casual but still warm enough for a date night. The service was decent, and she helped with all of our questions. I order sushi and chicken pad Thai but personally I felt like the sushi was slightly overpriced and the quality was not there. My pad Thai sauce was a more pink color than the brown golden color it should be however the camera didn't capture it. It was still good and I'd say more sweet than expected. Heading back north from Davie, we were fighting some rush hour traffic and decided to stop for an early dinner. Many, many years ago we used to frequent a favorite sushi restaurant in this area. We thought we'd go to that old location, and see what was there. It's now an Asian fusion restaurant -- there's sushi as well as Chinese dishes and even a few Vietnamese ones. We didn't realize they had a happy hour menu until it was pointed out by the waitress. We opted to select a couple items from it -- including my husband's two for one hot sake. We ordered first a harusame salad from their regular menu. We used to get this years ago -- but many places do it differently. This one had the crispy rice noodles, but no pieces of lettuce. Instead, it had (green) marinated seaweed salad on top. The noodles were mixed with sriracha sauce so it was a bit spicy -- but tasty. The two items for the happy hour menu we got were their California roll and their salt and pepper shrimp. Both items were larger than expected. We ate all the California roll and took part of the shrimp dish home as it would keep better for later dining. The California roll had ripe avocado, cucumber, and krab in it. It was pretty good. The salt and pepper shrimp was out of the shell and coated in tempura batter. I'm used to having it in the shell and very lightly battered and fried. This version came with chopped peppers a d onions. It was good but not as expected. Just fyi there is no seating allowed at the sushi bar right now. There are plenty of tables on the lower level. It's dimly lit inside and for some that could be romantic. The food was good and the prices exceptional -- especially what we had for happy hour. We will be back. read more

You can sit at the sushi bar, booths or even a low top table on the floor with pillows for the real experience. In addition to the booths, they have tables and chairs that can be put together to accommodate larger parties. It is a fair priced restaurant that features Sushi, Chinese dishes and even Thai dishes. The sushi is always fresh as one would hope for when eating sushi. (lol) They have a huge variety of rolls for the most picky of sushi lovers. I went there last evening with my son for his birthday. He started with an Ebi shumai appetizer. You can get it steamed or fried. I had the Tuna Youke in Kimchee sauce appetizer. In the era of Covid deliveries, we have gotten several orders delivery incorrectly from other places, but this was perfect, on time, and delicious. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai, one of my favorite meals. I've had a lot of tofu pad thai in the South Florida area, and this has to be one of my favorites. It was the perfect sweetness, just the right amount of sauce, and the cooked onions and chives added some savory delishiousness to each bite. The tofu was served in long stripes--I have never had it served that way, but I liked it. It made it a hearty meal and I could only eat 1/3 of it...yah for leftovers! I think this is the second time I ordered from Tataki Asain bistro for delivery. The first time was great and this second time was just as good. My order had no items missing, was well packed. And the food was delicious. I like that Tataki Asian Bistro has a variety of Asain food: Chinese, Japanese and Thai. Apologies if I left something out, but those are my favorites This order though was mostly sushi, 5 hand rolls and one of those rolls wrapped in thinly slice cucumber. All was good. We also ordered 2 Miso soups. The portions for the soup for the price was outstanding. And the soup was full of tofu and seaweed and really delicious. We also ordered a pint of shrimp fried rice which was just as good. I wouldn't say the food was gourmet, but what I will say is that it was filling, delicious and I will definitely be ordering from here again the next time I get that craving. What you see on here is not what you get. Definitely the reviews do not match what they are currently serving. The pad thai was a pink slop. The noodles were over soaked play-doh that were tossed in some weird pink sauce and forgotten to be tossed in a hot pan before serving. The chicken was sooo over boiled. The orange beef was cut i to huge pieces and the meat was very very over velveted that it is slimy but super tender. The chicken teriyaki too was not grilled. Ive seen more color from an easy bake oven. I wish I took pictures but we were so disappointed we threw the food out and went for whatever we could find left in the bowels of our freezer instead. This has been my consistent sushi takeout/delivery spot for three years. I love the mix of sushi and that you can get Chinese entrees as well. The food is always packaged well and with sauces. Recently the quality had been a bit hit and miss. Not sure if the current world climate has anything to do with it but being that they have been so consistent over the past two years I would get it another try. I loved it! We got Beef Satay as appetizer. It was so good. The sauce made it for me. I also got an off the chain roll and it was amazing! Take out soo good I had to order 2 days in a row! I know they deliver, but I picked up instead. They were very nice and I was able to get my sushi just before closed. It was hot and sooo yummy. I guess that explains why I went back a 2nd time, 2 days in a row. The inside ambiance seemed really low key and suave. I tend to appreciate a quieter dine in meal (which is why I always get take out... hashtag introvert), but I would surely bring my boyfriend to eat in one day. The sushi is kinda pricy although there are some not so pricy options. I'm crazy about the heat roll right now so I get that minus the tempura flakes. This place really doesn't need a happy hour because the food is that good, BUT if they had a drink specials or a sushi happy hour I would be more likely to visit here on a regular. We ordered a sushi special for two but wow! It was maybe for about 3-4 people. Great pricing for the deal and absolutely amazing. My husband and I went for a date here while running errands. We had a Groupon we had recently purchased, and because of that we ordered way more than we could eat just splurging and wanting to try different things on the menu. We didn't mind chatting in the meantime, but we were famished! We ordered five rolls. Yes, I know we are little piggies! The size of the rolls are plentiful and filling so next time we could do three and both be satisfied while not over-ordering. We ordered the Sexy Tuna Roll, Off da Chain Roll, Mango Tango Roll, Cajun Booty Roll, and the Bubba Gump Roll. Sexy Tuna Roll - Avocado, cucumber and crab inside out with spicy tuna and tempura flakes on top. Served with eel and kimchee sauce. (BY FAR, MY FAV!) Off da Chain Roll - Shrimp tempura, avocado, cilantro, rolled with soy paper topped with scallop dynamite, cilantro and tobiko on top and spicy mayo. - Very tasty. Topped with grilled tuna and mango. - The taste of the tuna was more than grilled. It had a very strong smell. Not fishy, but maybe sweet smoked. For us, it was very overpowering. This roll would be perfect with sashimi tuna over the top opposed to the tuna it comes with in our opinion. Otherwise, very good! Cajun Booty Roll - Spicy shrimp salad, tempura flakes inside out with tuna, salmon and cilantro on top. Served with cajun spices. - My husband hated this roll. LOL. I don't eat salmon, and there was a rather large piece draped over the top of the roll so no shot in my trying/eating it. Epic fail for us. There is seating at the bar and to get to the bar, there is a few steps up to the landing. TVs , I counted 2. There was a separate area for (from what I read) private dining. I came here a couple of weeks ago on a Friday for an late lunch early dinner. It's located in a small shopping center. I did not have a problem parking that day/time but I can see it might be a problem on a busy night (at a different time/day). The shopping center appeared new/freshly painted. To my surprise it's located in the same shopping center as Rosey Baby and Amarena Bakery. When I saw this, the plan was to eat at Tataki and have dessert at Amarena but I was way to full. Tataki is cozy, clean and has a modern Asian décor. The tables are cozy so when this place gets packed I'm sure it can get quite loud and you'll be able to hear your neighbors conversation. They also have a sushi bar if you like watching the action. When I arrived their were only two other patrons dining. It took a few minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there but was greeted pleasantly and seated right away at the table of my choice. I ordered a Thai iced tea, the Hawaiian Tuna Tartar for appetizer and the Happiness roll for the entree. The Thai iced tea was served in a tall chilled glass and was delicious not overly sweetened. The Hawaiian tuna tartar was WOW fantastic. I'd come here just for that! Light crisp non greasy wontons chips with a fresh burst of flavors on top. Highly recommend! The Happiness roll (roughly ten huge pieces) was good but not great and not my favorite. Definitely good enough for me to return and try some other items on their menu. Seemed a little too busy for 1 server to handle the whole restaurant and it took over 20 minutes for us to get our sushi rolls. When I did receive the rolls they were absolutely delicious and fresh. Maybe it was just too early in the day but that didn't scare us away. We ordered two different rolls and two appetizers; Bubba Gump Roll, Spicy Tuna Rainbow Roll, Hawaiian Tuna Tartar and Fried Sweet Potato. My friend had the Bubba Gump Roll which he said was delicious and the fried sweet potato he said was just average, nothing special. I ordered the Spicy Tuna Rainbow Roll which is literally my two favorite rolls combined and the roll was absolutely delicious! I've literally been craving it ever since. The Hawaiian Tuna Tartar was also extremely good. Sort of spicy and loved the combination of tuna, avocado, mango and pineapple. The sushi bar staff was super friendly and attentive, unfortunately I can't say much for the waitress. We had to keep calling her back every time we needed something, hence the 4 star review. My fiance and I used to order from here often, both for take out and for delivery. Regardless if you call for delivery, call ahead for pick up or call ahead for take out, you'll be waiting at least an hour. We loved their General Tso's and their chicken katsu but the last 2 times we ordered, everything was overcooked. We threw most of it away, which is a shame because it is not a cheap meal. The chicken katsu is usually a large amount of food (about double the amount you get anywhere else) but the last 2 time they made it for us it was overly crispy and thin. The worst part is it took them an hour and half to deliver to us. I'm not sure if I'm willing to give them another chance. read more

The order totally cost me $44 ( no including tips) I ordered: Soft spring rolls ( 2 rolls) Singapore noodle Shrimp tempura Happiness roll I was starving at that point so I wasn't picky at all. But the only issue I have with that order was. 2 spring rolls, there was nothing else but only vermicelli and one shrimp inside. For the price I paid which I believe was more than $7 For two rolls I would want something else in my roll not just clear noodle and one shrimp. That's the only issue. I didn't like the Singapore noodle, it was very dry but my friend like it so I think it's just personal preference. read more
