Fried rice and what was supposed to be honey garlic chicken

Food is too expensive for these kind of mistakes. I called and placed an order for a quick dinner as I was leaving the mall. I ordered honey garlic chicken with fried rice and crab wontons. When I got home, the honey garlic chicken was missing the honey garlic sauce. So basically I paid for deep-fried chicken nuggets. Fried rice was not fresh and rice was old not the typical texture or flavor I'm looking for in a Chinese fried rice. Where are the vegetables? Crab wontons also did not taste fresh and my kids did not like it. $28 wasted.

My go to local spot when I'm craving authentic Korean BBQ and food…read more My favorite is the seafood pancake, well all the pancakes are good. I also like the spicy rice cakes with fish cakes (Dduckbokki) The combination with the grilled meats+ soup or noodle options are a great choice when you want variety. They also have great Banchan as well which are little side dishes that comes with the meal. I enjoy dining in because they always put on a cooking show and it feels like I'm at home. The service is great but may take a bit longer when they are busy, so be patient with the staff because they are nice people.

The barometer for us indicating that this might be a legit decent Korean restaurant was the amount of Asian diners in the restaurant and there were an overwhelming majority of them at the time we went in. So we knew it was going to be a good meal. We got our drink orders in and for entrees went with the Army Stew (Budae Jigae), bulgogi, and the Seafood tofu soup. The army stew was considered 2 portions- it was huge but my friend was able to finish it himself. He said it was delicious and lived up to his expectations after having had the army stew in Seoul and have been looking for a place that offered back home. Though not quite as good as in Seoul but very decent for SoFlo. Next up was the seafood tofu soup. The flavor was on point- soft tofu that melts in your mouth along with clams, squid, shrimp and an egg topper. I will say, they were rather skimpy on the shrimp (only 1 in the pot) and a couple clams and squid but it was delicious nonetheless. The bulgogi was seasoned well and they included a number of banchan which all tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce to wrap my bulgogi with as that's common in South Korea but here it is a $4 upcharge for lettuce. The food did hit the spot so we were all satisfied with the quality of the food and will likely return.

I got the spicy tuna and it tasted very fresh. I couldn't really taste the flavor on it so much but it was delish regardless. They had so many options to choose from with some toppings being extra money like mango, masago, avocado, and imitation crab. I got the initiation crab and it was my FAVORITE part of my bowl! The build your own was nice and the lady behind the counter gave generous portion sizes and allowed me to get my sauces on the side as I was trying them for the first time. They do have bowls already customized but it was nice to build my own, they even allow you to do half/half with different proteins and I liked that they offered shrimp and chicken for cooked options for those who do not like raw fish. Also can do rice, salad, or half and half as base! The mochi was fab, some of my friends got boba and bubble teas and they raves about them. Definitely a good spot for a big portion and a good price for a fresh tasting meal! If I am back in this area I will definitely be making a stop back. Ps. Get the ponzu sauce!! It was AMAZE!

I like chicken, so I ordered the Shaka, which contains Chicken Edamame, Carrots, Avocado, Green Onion, Cucumber, Crab Stick, OG Sauce, Sweet Soy and Sriracha Aioli. The portions are large for $12.00 plus my discount coupon it was great deal. Then I ask the Asian employee (maybe the owner, not sure) a question about a side dessert and he points to the soda machine. This is where I get annoyed and basically he lost an upsell for the possibility of another $5.00 item. The bathroom was spotless with gray tiled flooring and white walls. The optional dining in the outside patio overlooking the water was a nice addition. I sat down quietly and consumed my delicious Poke Bowl and consumed my delicious Poke Bowl.
