But then the conveyor belt starts rolling, and suddenly none of that matters. Plate after plate of sushi cruises past you like it's auditioning for your attention. You lock eyes with one. You make a decision. You pull it off the belt, crack open the lid, take a bite, and feel like you just won something. No waiting, no awkward server check-ins, just instant sushi gratification. The pricing system somehow turns dinner into a game. You pay by the color on the rim of the plate. Blue plate is five bucks. Orange plate is eight. Before you know it, you're stacking plates, doing mental math mid-bite, and quietly negotiating with yourself about whether one more plate is "basically free." And if nothing rolling by is calling your name, the menu has your back. The salmon tacos are the standout. They're absolutely loaded with salmon, aggressively messy, and require a full commitment to eating like a feral raccoon. Delicious, sloppy, and worth it.
