I had my rear tire blown out so I came to tate boys, good service and all but they didn't give my spare tire back.

Have visited this location multiple times over the years and they are always extremely friendly, which is so important to me and hard to find. I also feel like I always get a fairly good deal & don't feel pressured to be upsold. I honestly don't ever feel like I'm being treated differently because I'm a woman either, which is common unfortunately. They always finish in the timeframe they give me as well. I had them look at my tires and needed new ones. After 2hour wait, I told them I couldn't wait and would have to come back ON Monday. We do alot of business here and have a fleet. We always go to Tate Boys for our oil change, tires, brakes, alignment etc. We went in to change all our tires today. Came in at 10.18am and they told us it will be about an hour plus wait. Then they told us that the brake rotor needs to be changed which is fine. Wish it was inspected in our prior visits. Anyway, they told us the rotor was in stock, but it ended up being delivered instead. It was finally done around 2pm. We took a short drive, and our car started blinking that the front left tire has very low pressure (23 psi). My husband tested the parking brakes, and my car was sliding down a small slope (like 20 degrees)... Adding a star because they gave us a complimentary oil change for our troubles. read more

We just stopped in to have a low tire checked out on our way out to California from Missouri. And I cant say enough great things about these guys. They took our car right in and jumped on it. They spent an hour on it. Checking both tires for leaks and even replaced a vavle stem. And then they didnt even charge us. Thanks for helping us out on our road trip. Super nice staff!! read more

Sorry company. Put a tire on my car with no mention of a warranty. Less than 12 hours later a brand new tire exploded, and of course they won't replace the tire for free because i didn't get the warranty that was never mentioned pitiful read more

I was I. Tulsa for business and was about to head home when I noticed a tire needed air. I tried to air it up myself and just made it worse. I knew I should t drive 2 hours home without getting it looked at. They took my car in about 4:30 and when I got it back they said it was a leaky valve stem, replaced it for me and didn't charge me. I really appreciate them getting me in quickly and getting me on the road home. Thank you. read more

Went to have oil changed. The did a complementary tire rotation. some idiot stripped my lug nuts and impacted the caps. Now, in order to get one of my tires off, I have to break two lug nuts. will never use their services again. Would not recommend and deserve no stars. read more

These guys are so great! I went to my dealership and got a quote on a new wheel bearing, 4 new tires and an alignment; it was $825 and a 2.5 hours wait to just have The diagnosis. I canned Tate boys and they said they could get me in and out this afternoon for $620 after rebates and discount for signing up for the credit card that also got me 6 months same as cash! Boom!! out of this world service. It is conveniently located next to restaurants and shopping so I was entertained while they quickly finished up my car. There is also an excellent waiting area with a tv and toys for the kids. I can't give these guys a better review! read more

We were traveling out of state and had a low tire light come on. We checked the pressure and needed it looked at because it was really low. We took it to Tate Brothers in Catoosa, Oklahoma. They took the car in immediately knowing we were traveling out of state. They checked all four tires. Found a nail in one of them. Repaired it and didn't charge us anything!! I had gotten off work late and arrived about 15 minutes after they were scheduled to close, on a Friday night no less. All the guys were super nice and checked all my tires since the low pressure light was on AGAIN after my husband said he had already taken my tires to be checked and even had one patched supposedly. Same tire that these very nice gentlemen found was 13lbs below pressure. They pulled me in the garage, never had to get out of my car, pulled the tire off and gave it a thorough inspection. Found a huge strip worn at the edge of the tread. They popped a used tire on free of charge, only took them about 10 minutes to do it and had me back on the road, with only a promise to come back and shop for a new set of tires!!! I absolutely will go back because they treated me like the wife, daughter or mom that I am and kept me safe and not sitting on the side of the road with a blowout in the dark. read more

We have done tires there as well as having our vehicles serviced there and they have always been very helpful. I trust them. Finding a place that doesn't feel like you are getting ripped off is, at times, very difficult when it comes to finding auto repair. Cody and Jesse are great to work with. read more

If it wasn't for the advertising touting the speed at which service happens at this place I probably wouldn't be so motivated to do this. I've been to this location twice, once for tires in early 2019 and once for a rotate and balance in October of 2019 (which never happened because I gave up and left). Both times I was told a time frame and that time frame was completely blown. The more recent occurrence I called ahead and was told "in and out in 45 to 60 minutes". When I arrived 15 minutes after calling I verified the time with the guy checking me in, "Yes sir, 60 minutes". That was at 9:30am. At 11:15 they pulled my car in and I was content to stay and let them do the work. At 11:50 I got up to look and my car hadn't been touched, just sitting there with a jack under it. At that point I told them I needed my car back. I was done. Probably won't be back. Please just be honest about the wait times and stop advertising things you can't deliver on. read more

I was traveling alone with my dog. My truck started shaking and making a hellacious noise Google directed to the catoosa office. I went in and explained what had happened. The guy behind the counter and the mechanic both seemed a little forrest gumpish but whatever. After a quick inspection I was told i needed work on my suspension and wheel bearings. $2k and 48 hours later I am there to pick up my ride. I noticed the odd little prick behind the counter keeps giving me this weird look but ok..whatever I got stuff to do...anyhow I bend over to get stuff out of my backpack and this freak reaches between my legs and grabs my man jibllies. I jump away cussing. Out walks this weaselly like punk claiming to be the manager. I try to explain what happened and he cuts me off. He tells me I need to pay my bill and leave. Now at this point I know arguing isnt going to do any good so I pay the bill, collect my keys and call them both cunts...less than 4 months later my truck is acting up the same way. These guys are total morons or they use inferior parts either way the customer service sucks unless you like some dude grabbing your nuts and then running you off for getting pissed. these guys. read more

After making an appointment online to have a set of Toyo tires put on my truck I arrive at the scheduled time and upon checking in I'm told everything is in order to have my Firestone tires put on. I told them no I ordered Toyo and after spending about 20 minutes in his computer I'm told I can either wait a few hours for the ones I ordered to arrive from okc or they have a similar pair that is slightly larger that would only be a thirty minute wait as they came from a different place in Tulsa. I selected this option and of course it was an extra hundred or so dollars and they made no offer to make the price the same even though it was their mistake that the tires I had originally ordered were not there. About an hour later i am told that my ball joints are so bad on the passenger side that they cannot even align my vehicle and I should pay them an additional $600 to fix it. I declined since I had recently changed that same wheel bearing and had checked the ball joints at that point and they had zero play in them. A few moments later a heard the same sales associate on the phone with a different customer telling them that they also needed new ball joints. However, from what I could tell the person told him that they'd just had them replaced and then the sales associate came back and said that yea in fact they did look new. From these two encounters I'm assuming that there so called mechanics are simply looking for irregular ware patterns in the tread and then automatically suggesting repairs without even checking the vehicles. Needless to say I will not be doing business with this or any other Tate Boys location again and I would gravely suggest you do the same. Unless you want a run around trying to get your tires and then pushed repairs you might not even need. read more
