But I didn't and immediately (the next Monday) secured an appointment with Dr. Sauvageau. Smartest move I ever made From the way I was greeting in the lobby to Brandy asking me in-take questions, I felt at home. And then I got to meet Dr. S. who advised me of the need for a 'nose job'. Again, I could have deferred and obtained referrals and/or a second opinion. But I felt comfortable with Dr. Sauvageau. I felt a connection. I dug his style. So a week later (allowing for me to 'be off' my blood thinner medication), I had the surgery and it went as well as one could hope for. And then, the icing on the ice....the tops of the pops....the super star of superstars......I came into the office to have some inserted plastic nose thingies taken out and I dealt with Madison. She was great, kind, empathetic, funny, communicative, engaging and just a nice person. I felt very comfortable and I knew I was in good hands with Madison. He is in a very busy practice, however, I never feel rushed and he answers all of my questions. I had 2 deviated septums and kept getting 6+ sinus infections a year, along with ear infections. Dr. Goco suggested the balloon procedure versus the sinus surgery where you do not have to put under, just twilight. I was nervous about it but it was the best thing I could have done for myself. I can breath clearly now, no sinus issues for two months and I'm not snoring. Literally, the best results I could have expected thanks to Dr. Goco and his staff!!
