My friend sustained second-degree burns a few weeks ago after a Starbucks tea lid popped off as he picked up the drink while getting out of the car, and this urgent care happened to be the closest option available. During the initial visit, the experience was fine. We saw a male doctor whose name I unfortunately do not remember, but the interaction was normal, professional, and friendly. We later had two follow-up appointments. The first follow-up also went smoothly with a blonde female doctor wearing glasses who was pleasant and professional. Unfortunately, the second follow-up experience was completely different. A blonde woman with glasses who appeared to oversee the front desk was speaking loudly across the room while requesting patients' personal information. At one point, she had two people at the desk simultaneously asking both individuals for personal information. My friend became very uncomfortable and later said "the lady gave him a headache" because personal questions were repeatedly being called out loudly, and people often seemed confused about whether she was speaking to them, having to repeatedly ask, "Are you talking to me?" In a medical setting where privacy should be expected, this felt highly unprofessional. Additionally, a heavier woman repeatedly came to the front desk to ask the receptionist if she was okay, but only when I, or another Black woman nearby, happened to stand near the front desk for any reason. I never spoke to her directly and never even interacted with her personally, which made the repeated behavior feel uncomfortable and unusual. During this follow-up, another doctor (an older blonde woman with glasses) entered the room with an energy that immediately felt aggressive. She seemed dismissive of my presence as a support person and spoke loudly in my friends face while examining his skin. We have photographs of the burns, and the skin was still visibly sensitive and partially raw in areas. Despite this, she stated that it looked "completely healed," even though the area remained sensitive enough that even wearing a shirt over it caused discomfort. We also received guidance from a family friend with experience working in a burn unit who advised continuing to keep the area covered and lightly bandaged until the skin had healed further. Hearing that the injury was "completely healed" despite what we were still seeing and experiencing created confusion and concern. What made the situation even more uncomfortable was the atmosphere surrounding us. The doctor, nurses, and receptionist were laughing loudly and made inappropriate comments implying that I was acting like my friend's mother, when in reality I was simply there because he experiences anxiety in situations like these and wanted support. It felt uncomfortable having our friendship perverted through assumptions and sexual jokes. This occurred after I simply asked for a receipt for our payment, which seems like a completely ordinary request. I remained quiet and respectful throughout the visit, yet I felt subjected to inappropriate comments and uncomfortable looks. As someone who has dealt with inappropriate jokes and assumptions in the past, the experience was personally upsetting and brought back trauma. What concerned me most was not simply the humor itself, but what felt like a lack of judgment and emotional maturity in a setting where patients are vulnerable and trusting healthcare professionals with their care. In healthcare, professionalism, awareness, and sound judgment are essential because patients should never leave feeling ridiculed, sexually assaulted verbally and emotionally uncomfortable. Overall, this experience was disturbing and disappointing. Healthcare environments should prioritize professionalism, patient privacy, respect, and making patients feel safe and heard. Unfortunately, that was not our experience. Please use discretion if you already struggle with anxiety, past sexual trauma, or place a high value on privacy, professionalism, and feeling respected while receiving care. God bless.

I went in because I wasn't feeing good and hoped to get a medication to relieve terrible cold symptoms. They quickly tested for covid, strep and flu which were all negative. It was then suggested that those aren't thorough enough and they could take another swab and send to their lab which would be ready the next day. I asked about cost which the provider said she wasn't sure (big surprise) but wouldn't be much and insurance should cover it anyway. First of all it was close to 3 days before I got results and was already feeling better at that point. When I called to get an update after 48 hours I was told it could take up to 72 hours. So that was the first miscommunication. The second and worst is that the lab they sent to are 3rd party...not their lab as I was told. They have no ties to the billing and just hand you off to them to bill you whatever they see fit. They ran an insane amount of completely unnecessary tests that $1214.05. Insurance does not cover these tests because they found them to be medically unnecessary, which they were. I am assuming that instead of spending the time to decide exactly what tests should have been requested based on my specific case they chose to send a free for all and have them test for everything under the sun. I had request to have the break down of the bill sent to me (not easy) and then research what each test meant and understand the codes. I won't go into too much detail on my finding except to say that 90% of the tests should not have been done and some were billed/coded to be redundant resulting in excess charges. While I find the billing practices of the lab (Phase 2 Labs) unethical, I also hold Physicians Urgent Care responsible for lack of disclosure and overall careless in their testing practices. My advice is to take the time to ask more thorough questions when they offer to send any testing off to the labs. Mainly what exactly are the tests and why they are suggesting them. Maybe that will give them pause to think that maybe each test that their patients will be charged for should be applicable to the person.

Instead, the doctor's office coded the visit as "establishing care," resulting in my insurance only covering half of the cost. At no point did anyone in the office explain that this change in coding would lead to additional charges. When I checked in, the receptionist even took my credit card information and assured me it would not be charged since the visit should be covered. Later, I received a surprise bill anyway. When I called their billing support team for clarification, they offered no help and made no effort to resolve the issue. This lack of transparency and accountability -- from the front desk to billing -- left me feeling misled and frustrated. Patients deserve clear communication about costs and honest assistance when problems arise, but this office failed on both fronts.

It's difficult to fully explain what happens during a session with her because the experience is so unique and deeply personal. I'm someone who usually prefers structure, plans, and clear expectations but this work didn't operate that way and requires you to submit and trust the process, as elusive as that sounds. I wasn't even super clear on what I wanted to work on initially, I just knew I was at a crossroads. However, reflecting back, the changes that occurred were profound, rapid, and largely unconscious/unintentional. I wouldn't have even necessarily been able to define what I wanted to change or heal until suddenly things had lifted and I realized how different I felt and was operating only in hindsight. Elaine was able to identify and clear emotional blocks I had carried since early childhood; including a heaviness and melancholy I didn't even realize had become part of my normal baseline until it was gone. One of the biggest shifts I noticed was in my nervous system and emotional reactivity. I used to experience an immediate stress response to even minor external triggers and would absorb other people's negative energy very deeply. Now, I still recognize others' emotions without carrying them as my own and can operate with boundaries in such an effortless manner. The difference is hard to describe unless you've experienced it yourself, but it feels lighter, calmer, and effortless. I also have reconnected to faith, feel more connected to joy, more confident, and far more certain in myself and my decisions. I no longer seek constant external validation or second guess my path. Elaine has helped me recognize gifts and purpose within myself that I'm now actively developing with a level of clarity and confidence I never had before and business related ideas are currently "pouring" out of me. Another unexpected shift is after four years on anti-anxiety medication, I unintentionally weaned off completely just naturally through the internal changes that occurred during this work. It was not even conscious or effortful nor was medication even something I had discussed with Elaine. These are just some of the changes I experienced that are perhaps most relatable for a review. I know some of this may sound elusive but if you're unfamiliar with her work, but if you're here reading reviews, you probably already have some "knowing" and inner sense of why you found her. You don't need any convincing but maybe a little reassurance. A few things I initially had questions about since I personally typically comb through reviews as "due diligence" before making a big commitment to something. 1.) Her prerequisite readings are important. This work is not passive, and having foundational understanding before hand allows sessions to go much deeper. 2.) Her fees initially made me hesitant. But after working with her, I completely understand why. She gives an extraordinary amount of time, energy, care, and presence to her clients far beyond the session itself. This is not a "clock in, clock out" experience. When I compare it to the money I've spent over the years trying to fill internal voids through therapy, self-help, vacations, material things, medications, or temporary coping tools, the investment now feels incredibly worthwhile. Most importantly, Elaine never operates from fear, pressure, or manipulation. There is never any "you need to pay more to fix/save yourself" energy that you hear about in exploitative psychic scams with continually escalating payment demands. She is grounded, genuine, transparent, and deeply gifted at what she does and trustworthy. She is not a hard-sell type of healer at all. But if the timing aligns and you have the opportunity to work with her, I genuinely believe it is an investment you will not regret. I waited 10 years, and it exceeded every expectation I had!

I came to Elaine to quiet some anxiety I had--and to finally get clarity on my direction and life…read morepurpose. From the moment the session began, I felt her powerful, loving energetic presence move through me--like a warm current washing away years of tension. She gently guided me inward, and in that space, she helped reveal aspects of myself that would play a role in my life's purpose...so once a foggy question mark of what I think I could do, came into sharp, undeniable focus. She also, without a single prompt, described the hidden struggles of my specific family members--details no one outside my family could know. Just truly incredible! If you're seeking anxiety relief, deeper self-awareness, true direction, or genuine spiritual exploration, go to her. Bring an open heart and leave transformed. I walked in unsure, I walked out whole and on purpose. LIFE CHANGING! I can't recommend her highly enough!
