Love love love this place! Stopped by the other day after driving by for years. Was greeted upon entrance. I told the worker that I've never been here, she offered samples and explained what they sold. Everything here is made then frozen quickly to maintain freshness. There are refrigerators with some fresh foods ready for consumption, but do note that lots of the foods taste differently when heated than when eating by cold, although it is ok to eat cold. Very authentic Armenian food. The inside looks very clean. The atmosphere is inviting. The workers are nice and informative. They take cash or card. The Baba Ghanouj (eggplant spread) has a nice Smokey flavor. The eggplant was prepped and roasted nicely to make this. The Lentil Kofta is amazing! There's no way of explaining it, just try it! ITCH Armenian Fine Bulgur was really fresh and delicious! The fire sauce (salsa? In a jar) was not very spicy, but is very Garlicky. She offered samples of already cooked items and gave me a breakdown of other food I wasn't familiar with. I ended up purchasing the khngali and sini mante. My grandma and mom make the best mante and khngali so I had to try these two first, and oh my they sure met my expectations. They're both delicious and remind me of home. I also ran back and grabbed a small try of the sarma as this is my daughters favorite and it was one of the best I've had. Nice place to visit once in awhile you and your craving some authentic Armenian home cooking. They are very generous and friendly give out a lot of samples. Ventured first time a couple months ago and was blown away by their hummus easily the best I've ever had including Trader Joe's Mediterranean. I also love their pickles and their fried football meatballs that are frozen and come in a huge pack just take him out a few at a time and put them in the toaster they turn out delicious like they were just fried. Lot of the traditional Armenian dishes I'm not a fan of as I grew up mostly here but for those that like it seems they have a great selection and they even have a rewards program which is unheard of for a small Mom and Pop Shop. It's a little out of the way for me or else I would frequent more often and the only reason not five stars is the prices are quite High that's understandable I mean this is not Costco but still it sets me back quite a bit to get even a couple items. read more
