Had such a great experience here! Came here for the first time for dinner on Sunday and was very pleased by the decor and ambiance of the place. They have a nice indoor area with a small stage for when they have live music, but what caught my eye was the beautiful patio with so much green and string lights-- I loved it! Our server was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and portion sizes were also great. We ordered a Tahdig to share and it was enough for the 4 of us, and we got it with half Ghormeh Sabzi and half Gheymeh, both were very tasty. One of us ordered the trout and didn't like it very much unfortunately because it was a bit dry. However, I got the Beef Koobideh Kebab, and let me tell you-- it was SO GOOD. I have always loved Beef Koobideh and it's always my go-to order at Persian restaurants, and this one had to be one of my favorites. Also, there is no corkage fee! We have never been here but friends, one of whom is Iranian, suggested we come here as they love the food here and so we said great! We came around 5:30 with a reservation but didn't need one as it started getting busy around 7 when we were ready to leave. We sat at an indoor table that appeared to be right next to an area that probably for private parties but not sure. My salmon kebab was a 10-star, just delicious. My wife had an appetizer combo plate that she loved and took lots home for lunch and/or dinner the next couple days. This is the first time I've brought my family here. I usually dine alone during my lunch break. I'd say this is the only restaurant that has treated me so well. When I eat out alone, I rarely receive such excellent service from the staff. The food here is fantastic, my favorite is the Beef Kobideh and i particularly love the house salad paired with their Italian dressing. I even asked if they're selling their Italian dressing because it was so delicious, haha. The ambiance is elegant, making you feel like you're in a five-star dining restaurant. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, beware. So I took my family and sister and mother to this establishment today to celebrate Mother's Day, and everything we had was over cooked and burnt. The service was the only thing that was normal here. The server was very nice and helpful. But the problem comes when I approached the manager to pay for the bill. So I act like I go to the restroom and he bring me the bill and I pay it off and leave a little tip on top... upon leaving I approach him to call the server so I can tip him extra cash, and he tells me that he wants me to pay an extra 70$ for tip. I asked him why he didn't include it in the bill or tell me when I paid the bill, he had no response... just a heads up, super shady owner, who tries to take advantage of people who look like they have money or anything. I showed them my receipt and order but they called me a liar and embarrassed me in front of their customers, I had to reach out to Yelp customer service to get a refund and I placed an order there again but still they didn't apologize for giving my food to someone else without checking and accusing me of lying. We ordered beef koobideh, beef soltani and chicken to share. Also had fesanjan with chicken, and albaloo (sour cherry) rice. Service is perfect, polite and attentive. 10/10 would recommend. Saw lots of take-out orders going out when I brought my friend here for Valentine's Day to help her beat the blues. They have a lovely setting, gorgeous glass mugs for chai & the portions are family sized, so I recommend phoning in support to finish your meals. We had the Tahdig, Mast o' Khiar with fresh Pita & Ghormeh Sabzi. We were only two people & we took most of it to-go! We planned to order more & just start with that, but we filled up so quickly! I've had the Adas Polo, Koobideh, Shirazi Salad, Luleh & Fessenjan - all fantastic plates! I do enjoy the food & the service was excellent, but we had the place to ourself, so I can't speak on more than that isolated experience. I've otherwise ordered take-out.
