This was our third visit to Shiraz Restaurant, and the food has been amazing every single time! Everything we've tried, including the appetizers, has been delicious. Our server, Amanda, is always so friendly, attentive, and continually checks in to make sure we have everything we need. On our most recent visit, we also had the pleasure of meeting the owner and learned that Shiraz has been a family-owned business for 32 years. It was wonderful speaking with him and hearing more about their story and how important quality, food, and great service are to their family. I highly recommend giving Shiraz a try! Tonight we had Shiraz cook for our dinner with friends, we had a family meal package delivered, we were all impressed with how great the food was, it was fresh and delicious, we loved the chicken kebab and my favorite is the cherry rice, definitely will be ordering from them again! We ordered takeout from Shiraz while visiting my parents and the whole family loved it. The kabobs were excellent and the Sultani was a real hit -- even my little ones cleaned their plates. Everything came out fresh and flavorful. The restaurant itself is really nice, and the owners/staff made us feel so welcome. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests. Had such a great experience here! Came here for the first time for dinner on Sunday and was very pleased by the decor and ambiance of the place. They have a nice indoor area with a small stage for when they have live music, but what caught my eye was the beautiful patio with so much green and string lights-- I loved it! Our server was very friendly and helpful, and the food was delicious and portion sizes were also great. We ordered a Tahdig to share and it was enough for the 4 of us, and we got it with half Ghormeh Sabzi and half Gheymeh, both were very tasty. One of us ordered the trout and didn't like it very much unfortunately because it was a bit dry. However, I got the Beef Koobideh Kebab, and let me tell you-- it was SO GOOD. I have always loved Beef Koobideh and it's always my go-to order at Persian restaurants, and this one had to be one of my favorites. Also, there is no corkage fee! My wife and I order Shiraz at least once a week. We believe the flavor quality and overall home-cooked taste is better than all the other local Iranian restaurants. We are the type of people who analyze every aspect of the flavors and I have to say that the food is very delicious. Every time we order I say this taste like my mom's cooking. We have never been here but friends, one of whom is Iranian, suggested we come here as they love the food here and so we said great! We came around 5:30 with a reservation but didn't need one as it started getting busy around 7 when we were ready to leave. We sat at an indoor table that appeared to be right next to an area that probably for private parties but not sure. My salmon kebab was a 10-star, just delicious. My wife had an appetizer combo plate that she loved and took lots home for lunch and/or dinner the next couple days. This is the first time I've brought my family here. I usually dine alone during my lunch break. I'd say this is the only restaurant that has treated me so well. When I eat out alone, I rarely receive such excellent service from the staff. The food here is fantastic, my favorite is the Beef Kobideh and i particularly love the house salad paired with their Italian dressing. I even asked if they're selling their Italian dressing because it was so delicious, haha. The ambiance is elegant, making you feel like you're in a five-star dining restaurant. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE, beware. So I took my family and sister and mother to this establishment today to celebrate Mother's Day, and everything we had was over cooked and burnt. The service was the only thing that was normal here. The server was very nice and helpful. But the problem comes when I approached the manager to pay for the bill. So I act like I go to the restroom and he bring me the bill and I pay it off and leave a little tip on top... upon leaving I approach him to call the server so I can tip him extra cash, and he tells me that he wants me to pay an extra 70$ for tip. I asked him why he didn't include it in the bill or tell me when I paid the bill, he had no response... just a heads up, super shady owner, who tries to take advantage of people who look like they have money or anything. I ordered food from this restaurant for pickup from Yelp, after arriving they told me that I already picked up my food. I showed them my receipt and order but they called me a liar and embarrassed me in front of their customers, I had to reach out to Yelp customer service to get a refund and I placed an order there again but still they didn't apologize for giving my food to someone else without checking and accusing me of lying.
