HANDS DOWNThe best Persian food ever!!! We get catering for our work place from Noosh Grill and they have NEVER disappointed us with quality, portions, GREATEST CUSTOMER SERVICE and also their bonus sides. We are in Glendale and they do delivery all the way from Reseda. Craving Persian food, give them a call and you see what i am talking about. This is a past due review since i had their food already for the past 6 months and didn't get a chance to update you all.

Chicken and beef koobideh combo with separate order of shirazi salad. Yum

I spent 70 dollars on two plates of food. Did I think it was more expensive that the location and establishment warranted? Sure-but that's not the problem here. I brought my food home. The Koobideh was unevenly cooked. Some places barely cooked some places burned. My "filet mignon" had a chunky mushy substance on it. I can't even begin to tell you what it was other than it did not belong in my food. But this is still not the reason for my one star. The rice itself had a bad odor ( I'm middle eastern I've had plenty of rice both good and bad in my life but this was different). After a few bites I realized it was MOLD! It doesn't really come though in the pictures but by the taste and mouthfeel it was 10000% mold. ALSOOOOOOO THERE IS A 3% fee to use a credit card. Prices listed on menu are cash prices.

I was a slight bit off but not sick. I did want something light so the order went as follows: Pickled veggies, hummus, Armenian salad, moutabel. My daughter had chicken and beef plate with hummus and yogurt cucumber. She received pita too. My hubby got oven roasted pork ribs, and a bowl of lentil soup. First - the food was all amazing! Fresh. The serving dishes were nice and different making the meal so attractive. We all shared bites of each others food and enjoyed knowing that the next we come we know again what we want. Service was lovely and we met George and his family, who were so very nice and welcoming. To have dinner at a family establishment is heart felt and nostalgic, because I grew up in a restaurant environment. George's mother in law came over to us and gave us fresh made cookie biscuits to try as dessert. We couldn't stop thanking them for the entire dining experience. It's a mom and pop shop. A hole in the wall. Some of the best places, you all know, are small. I liked this place a lot. And I'm planning on going there again soon. :) thank you George and family for delicious food and making us feel like family.

The food was indeed homey and delicious, and the most interesting part was when they set up the charcoal grill just outside the restaurant, allowing us to savor the food as it was being prepared! They also do catering which I suppose makes them a great option for businesses and residential customers alike. Think high quality food and an easygoing, no nonsense service.

It's located inside a small plaza and has both indoor and outdoor dining. The place itself is cute and clean. When we arrived, it was empty. We sat and placed our orders and got our food fairly quickly. The food itself was delicious. The meat was very juicy and tender and the rice and salad were good as well. The only issue we had is the service. The owner was running around being the host and chef it seemed. He forgot things we ordered and then we had to wait forever to get our check. I don't know if the service is always like this but, they definitely need to hire more people to help. The food was really good so I'd be willing to give them another shot!

At the end, the owner gave us complimentary coffee and fruit from his own backyard. This place is good for groups, and they remodeled the store recently. There is an outdoor sitting area and plenty of spots inside of the store. Also if you are big group, just call them and reserve you spot for peace of mind. Just keep in mind that Persian food preparation takes time, so you can order earlier by phone or wait at the store. Definitely recommend this place to give it a try.

We found on Yelp, this restaurant named Lemon Zest. It is a restaurant that is part of small business center but Lemon Zest looks like a stand alone business. The interior was designed so nice with ample seating outside in the patio area and inside. This place is meant to hold large parties. The vibe is so cool for a casual date or dinner and drinks with friends. It is also cool to host a mixer or private party! At 9:15pm we were the only party and our server treated us so well. She didn't rush us but she did check in with us periodically. I wish we got her name so we can properly give her praise. The food was amazing. This is my first time here so I ordered the beef gyro plate and paid extra for loaded Greek fries. The plate was huuuge! Such a generous serving that is enough for two people to eat. The fries were crisp and the toppings worked so well. It complimented the thin, well-seasoned slices of beef. The pita was cut into triangles, making the perfect bite. My friends and I really enjoyed our dinner and promise to comeback!

Most importantly, the food was the greatest ever. My family would have been fine with just the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant-- it was hearty and creamy and garlicky, everything I have ever wanted in a dish. But of course, we ordered the super combo due to our hubris and paid the price (we took a bunch of boxes). They are not kidding when they say the Super Combo feeds 4-5, they must be talking about 4-5 men in their early 20s because it was way too much for us. Assuming you eat all the salad and rice and the bed if bread the meat is served on, I can imagine this feeding more than 5 people. It is truly the most value item on the menu, should you have the personnel to take it on. Highly recommended for anyone who likes mediterranean food! Try the baba ganoush and roasted eggplant!!

My favorites are their kabobs and different modifications (think sour berries) of generous amounts of basmati rice that accompany their entrees. The Mast O' Mooseer (yoghurt with shallots) is another of my must haves. Generally, I always get the koobideh kabob to go, but this time, I was in the mood to sit down and have some chunks of meat. I chose the Shish Kabob, which is advertised as grilled filet mignon pieces. The restaurant prepares it medium well and past experience revealed it to be dry and tough. So I asked for it medium rare, for the first time. The dish that came to my table had marvelous optics. The beef was well charred, had an intoxicating aroma and well distributed coloring amongst the seven generous pieces. But there were a few problems. For one, I could not comfortably cut into the beef without using excess force, and shredding it. I asked for a sharper (steak) knife and was told that was all they had. While the meat was juicy, it was extremely chewy. I even questioned whether it was filet mignon, because it did not look and behave like it. I was told it was. If that was the case, could it have been a bad cut? This substantiates why I am leery about ordering meat pieces. Amongst the other items, the thick creamy yoghurt did not disappoint. Same with the grilled onion and tomato. The saffron rice is always fluffy and abundant. The green salad was crisp and refreshing. Take home message? Looks like I will have to skip the Shish Kabob and stick only with the koobideh, if I am ever in the mood for skewered grilled beef.
