Bread soaked in meat juices coming from the beef, so I decided to come here. I SWEAR THE SECOND I WALKED IN the nostalgia hit. It's gorgeous, the inside is like a reminder of home. The hospitality is amazing. I felt at home, and it's been a while since I did. And they know exactly what they're doing back there, the food is still amazing, and so is the hospitality. The only thing that breaks my heart is that it's slower than before. Compared to the expensive places by Woodland Hills that have good quality Persian food for a good price rather than 50$ for two skewers of koobideh, it's juicy, it's delicious, and it's cheaper, and more authentic. The place, the owner, the decoration, food, everything. 10/10.

I was a slight bit off but not sick. I did want something light so the order went as follows: Pickled veggies, hummus, Armenian salad, moutabel. My daughter had chicken and beef plate with hummus and yogurt cucumber. She received pita too. My hubby got oven roasted pork ribs, and a bowl of lentil soup. First - the food was all amazing! Fresh. The serving dishes were nice and different making the meal so attractive. We all shared bites of each others food and enjoyed knowing that the next we come we know again what we want. Service was lovely and we met George and his family, who were so very nice and welcoming. To have dinner at a family establishment is heart felt and nostalgic, because I grew up in a restaurant environment. George's mother in law came over to us and gave us fresh made cookie biscuits to try as dessert. We couldn't stop thanking them for the entire dining experience. It's a mom and pop shop. A hole in the wall. Some of the best places, you all know, are small. I liked this place a lot. And I'm planning on going there again soon. :) thank you George and family for delicious food and making us feel like family.

Three of them have two chairs each, while the others have 4 chairs. The menu is laminated and comes with numerous mediterranean dishes, and yes, there are kabobs. I chose the beef lule kabob entree, that comes with two minced kabobs, rice, grilled tomato, jalapeno and a very small cucumber tomato salad, some hummus too, all plated together. I also ordered their thick yoghurt with shallots to accompany the menu item. The Kabobs were grilled to order, could have used more flavor and were slightly overcooked. Overall, the components blended harmoniously. What stood out was their pita bread, grilled just right and so pillow soft on the inside. That with the yoghurt was absolutely divine. There was also a starter that came with the dish. I chose the lentil soup over the salad. Wow, an excellent selection. The perfect temperature, a nice mix of spices, warm aroma, enticing flavor and tongue feel. This introduction may have surpassed the rest that was to follow. I would go there specially to get the lentil soup alone, to go. Service here was high class, attentive and friendly. Definitely, worth a repeat visit.

It's located inside a small plaza and has both indoor and outdoor dining. The place itself is cute and clean. When we arrived, it was empty. We sat and placed our orders and got our food fairly quickly. The food itself was delicious. The meat was very juicy and tender and the rice and salad were good as well. The only issue we had is the service. The owner was running around being the host and chef it seemed. He forgot things we ordered and then we had to wait forever to get our check. I don't know if the service is always like this but, they definitely need to hire more people to help. The food was really good so I'd be willing to give them another shot!

At the end, the owner gave us complimentary coffee and fruit from his own backyard. This place is good for groups, and they remodeled the store recently. There is an outdoor sitting area and plenty of spots inside of the store. Also if you are big group, just call them and reserve you spot for peace of mind. Just keep in mind that Persian food preparation takes time, so you can order earlier by phone or wait at the store. Definitely recommend this place to give it a try.

Although the game didn't turn out the way we hoped, the food certainly did! One thing we really appreciate is how consistently delicious everything is. I picked up our order around 11:30 a.m., and we didn't eat until after the game ended around 2:30 p.m. The food was packed extremely well and was still juicy and flavorful when we were ready to eat. Our friends had never tried it before and thought everything was amazing. The beef koobideh was the favorite--which happens to be my favorite too! The chicken was also flavorful and tender, and there was plenty of food for everyone. I didn't get a picture of the salad because I had already started eating it as my appetizer before remembering to take one! We will definitely continue ordering this family special for gatherings.

My husband got the trout fish meal, but he was a bit surprised--he expected a fillet and got it with skin and bones instead. Just something to note if you're not into that. The only thing that caught us off guard was the eggplant borani. When the server said it "comes with bread," we assumed it was complimentary, but it turned out to be a charged appetizer. That was on us for not clarifying, but a heads-up would have been helpful. Overall, solid food and service--just watch out for the add-ons!
