Best Afghan bread in SoCal! Fresh and warm when I picked up just now. Love!

Best Afghan bread and bakery in the L.A. area or SoCal!! Good gyros too, as well as a small variety of great dried fruit and nuts. I also love their fresh (refrigerated) chutney options. Visit and buy local!! Especially if it's this fantastic!

They were super attentive, friendly and professional. They even knew that we were from out of town and they showed patience and also they appreciated our presence and gave us spot on recommendations. The lamp and beef skewers were delicious, both spicy and non spicy variants. Their signature sweet and sour pork was amazing! I've never had anything like it. Chewy, not overly sweet nor overly sour. Perfection! Thanks to this memorable experience, we will be coming back each time we're in town. Keep up the great work Fei Xiang Gong!

Once we got upstairs though we saw one person cutting vegetables and preparing skewers we thought they were closed, but we were thankful they were not and they had a really great happy hour that my husband and I split. The skewers are amazing and they're just like we had in China. I loved the cold noodles. The banchan a little less variety than what you would get at other places, but it still tasted really healthy and fresh. We were surprised that no other people were there, but we saw a lot of tables that had Plates and napkins on it so it seemed like we were coming at a later part of the lunch hour. I would definitely come back again. I think the skewers were that delicious and the price of the happy hour. It was totally worth it to get the noodles and the skewers together.

We were immediately greeted by the owner who excels at friendly banter and salesmanship (not in a pushy way - he clearly loves what he does and wants people to enjoy good food, so he happily gave some recommendations). We got the lule with a sparkling water and a salad, then were surprised with an extra side of rice so we could try the ghee and another sparkling water, courtesy of the owner. The chicken was incredibly moist and flavorful and I loved the added bonus of the onions that we could pull together into a wrap. I can't complain about the price either because between the 2 of us, we were satisfyingly full with just one order. Excellent spot for a casual lunch or takeout. I absolutely will come back to try the chicken Cesar.

TLDR: Hear me out, if you have any doubt about chicken being less superior to beef or other meat. TRY the chicken thigh here. It makes justice for chickens (I still need to try their beef or lamb tho) I was running errands in Glendale today and I was starving and looking for lunch spots around. Turns out Mini Kabob was 3 mins walk away, it was a no brainer, my feet just took me there. Didn't expect to go there, so didn't order ahead but I'm fine with waiting. After last time's magnificent chicken thigh, I was determined to try their other entrees. However, Armen said the chicken thigh is the best seller out of their entrees- well, time for a round 2 I guess? This time I'm eating the entree at the spot and I just gotta say- IT SLAPS!! I'm genuinely not a big fan of chicken, because when you can choose beef why chicken? But this chicken is so juicy, so tender, so heavenly. Yummy!! The garlic sauce is great but the hummus and the fresh lavash, h o l y - f. Last time it was already so good even as a leftover, and eating it right at the spot is just transcending. I also tried their Armenian pear soda, it's delicious and refreshing with the heat right now in summer. I left with my tummy happy and their service is always great, they get busy but still no attitude, no bs, gives the right recommendations. Even this is like a take out restaurant, it still surpasses most of the kabob restaurant. Without doubt I'm coming back again after their break, please be there. I love you mini kabob

Man, this place lives up to the 5 star reviews. Unfortunately, my partner and I were too into the food that we didn't bother taking pictures past the falafel appetizer. Lol. We ordered half of the menu (we can eat!). We got the Siverek Tava, Corti Taplamasi, Pekmez-marinated Chicken, Dry-Aged Tenderloin Shish Kebab, Root Vegetables Falafel, Spicy Eggplant Salad and Garlic-Spiced Kebab. EVERY SINGLE DISH WAS A HIT! My favourite was the dry-aged tenderloin shish kebab. It was seasoned and cooked perfectly. The falafels were my second favourite dish. Everything was so good! The chef was nice, attentive and caring. The chef checks you in, you order your food at a kiosk and you sit at the table that the chef assigns for you. The food comes out pretty quickly. There's plenty of metered parking and it's free after 6:00 p.m. Do yourself a favour and book a reservation. It's very intimate and perfect for a date, special occasion or just for an evening to eat great food.

One thing you absolutely cannot skip is the edamame hummus. I had never even heard of edamame hummus before coming here, and now I can't believe I went so long without trying it.
