They are tricking existing customers into paying for services they didn't book. I got less than 24 hours notice of a gutter cleaning that I didn't book so I called, texted, and emailed them saying it was an error. They still went ahead and scheduled us for a specific time until I reached out a FOURTH time asking it to be cancelled. They were just going to come without me agreeing to the service or knowing the price. They have no clue if the gutters were cleaned the day before, we had moved, or we were out of town with the water off. And for that, I won't be using them again. Not to mention the last time I did use them they didn't clean one of my downspouts and it ended up overflowing. They did thankfully come out to fix it, but is did need to hassle with them a bit about it. Response: They didn't explain why I had to ask for the unscheduled appointment to be cancelled 4 times before it was actually cancelled. They are right the prior service fix was beyond the 30 day warranty but it was not months. As I informed them, we had a baby days after the service and it wasn't really a top priority to check their service at the time until we saw damage to the ground around the clogged downspout. read more

Tav is terrible. I called to see about having a hole in the gutter repaired. They said they would schedule a cleaning, and they would inspect for damage then. They came while we were out, said they cleaned, and that there were no repair issues. When I asked about the hole in the gutter, they had no idea. I also inspected the gutters, and portions were not cleaned. I called, explained, and refused to pay. I have been receiving automated emails and text messages since. Do not use. read more

Requested a quote a month or so ago and have gotten about 5 automated text messages from them since then which I've ignored because I found a better price. Today I got the message you see in the pictures. Making it seem like you booked me an appointment when I've never asked for one is SHADY. I shouldn't have to reply NO to a message to tell you I DON'T want your service. I would never use or recommend a company like this. read more

After I had them clean my gutter on my brand new construction house, this is what I came back to. Huge dents in my brand new gutters on the front of my house. I called multiple times over multiple months and just got the run around. They may be cheap, but their customer service is horrible and they do not stand behind their work. I ordered a pressure wash through Amazon and was assigned this company. We were scheduled for early May 8-11am, they called at around 11am to reschedule because of the rain. Fair enough, we rescheduled for early June, same time 8-11am and received a text and email confirmation. This time they didn't even bother to show up. When I called the company they said they would track down their tech, but after 3 more hours I gave up and cancelled the service. I went with Amazon again for a late June pressure wash, and was assigned this company again. Received email and text confirmation for 8-11am visit the day before. Guess what, they didn't show up again. When I called, no answer so I left a voicemail and waited for another 2 hours before I gave up. I'm putting in a formal complaint with Amazon. read more

TAV Gutters is deceitful, dishonest and scammers! Last fall I requested gutter cleaning service. When they finally responded with a date for service, I told them that was inconvenient and said I would reschedule in the springtime. They must have texted me 2 or 3 times to schedule a service, which I repeatedly declined. May arrived, and I requested an estimate for various services through their website. Joanne called to discuss the work, and said I owed for a past gutter cleaning. She caught me off guard, and thinking I was delinquent on a bill, I immediately paid through the website. She then sent a follow up statement which showed the job was completed while I was out of town and the water to the house was turned off. I called back wondering how a proper cleaning could be performed without water and added that they did not have an appointment, nor did they have permission to enter and work on my property. She said she would send before and after pics of the gutters, but she never did. I reached out again asking for the pics and inquiring where my forthcoming estimate was. I emailed and called several times, but no one ever responded. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! read more

I hired and made an appointment TAV Gutters a month in advance to for a routine gutter cleaning. I explained that I was coming in from out of town to take care of the house and that I needed a confirmed appointment, which they confirmed. The day of our appointment no one showed up and no one called to tell me they were not arriving. I asked if they could reschedule and they said they could and that they would call me the next day which they didn't. I had to chase them down and when I inquired about the reschedule they said there was no availability. Now I have no gutter service and I wasted my opportunity while in town for maintenance on the house. I don't believe they have good customer service. read more

I hired Tav Gutters through Amazon in July 2018. When they showed up for the appointment, they looked at the windows and told me they could not clean them because they were double pane windows. Then they mumbled something about more money, and I asked them to leave. It's still not clear to me whether they physically could not clean the windows or were simply trying to extort more money than the Amazon estimate from me, but I would not recommend them. read more

I requested through Amazon Home Services a service for deck washing. I was assigned this company by Amazon to power wash my deck and it couldn't exceed 2000 sq. ft. An appointment was booked. The night before the appointment I sent them an email explaining that my deck was only about 200 sq. ft. and to see if they would be willing to do the fence, railings of the deck and the yard, which all combined did not exceed the 2000 sq. ft. maximum. It fact, it doesn't even come close to 500 sq. ft. I did receive a response from them basically saying they could only do the deck. I was fine with that, so I didn't respond. They were supposed to have been at my house between 11-2. I waited around and no one showed up. I contacted Amazon and was told the appointment was cancelled. I couldn't believe it! I didn't cancel it so I assume they did. I guess they assumed it wasn't work the trip, but they could have least contacted me directly since they did have my email address. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I hope Amazon keeps track of this. read more
