I swear I've reviewed this place before, but I guess not. Here it goes. I've been here on multiple Fridays, I specifically come for the music bingo because the host is so nice and energetic. I usually get the same servers every time, which is nice because it's consistent and they are both very attentive, and they also sing the karaoke songs which I love . The food is reasonably priced they make a lot of stuff from scratch. You can find some of their from scratch items or new menus on Instagram, which I also follow. They also do other themed nights throughout the week. The parking lot is a little smaller, but it's enough. There's also on street parking both in front and on the side streets nearby. My significant other and I attended a live music event here over the weekend. The location was very clean and well lit (the band, Space Captain, was excellent). We were both pleased with the appetizers we ordered (hot wings and ruben egg rolls) as well as the beverages. Wait staff was very attentive and everything arrived in a timely manor as well as hot. I can't speak to the cleanliness of the restroom but all in all, it was an awesome experience. Parking was a bit sparse, but on street parking was available. read more

The entire Irish aspect of this Irish pub feels like a bit of an afterthought. The food is decent, but there isn't a great deal of it that reminds you of what you would come to expect from an Irish pub. A lot of the beers are served in noticeably smaller glasses. I grew up in Irish-heavy Quincy; I can vouch for the fact that every single Irish person calls their beers "a pint," so anything less than 16 ounces feels like I'm getting hosed. Irish pubs are funny, though. When you're in one where everybody is going wild and smashing bottles over their own heads, you always wish you were in some place cleaner. Then, when you're finally in a cleaner one, you miss all of the chaos and hijinks of the former. Long story short, I'll give it another try. It's in the neighborhood, so why not? read more

Great new spot, nicely renovated, friendly staff, nice dining area, patio and bar and clean spotless bathrooms. Food was excellent Patty melt seasoned and cooked to perfection ,Grilled Reuben and fries were great as well. Stopped in on a Sunday night so ticket times on food was over 30 minutes, but those things will be worked on as Skeffs get going. Can't wait to come back. Chef Speciality egg rolls are always unique. Trip back to Rhode Island to see family and stopped here on way to airport. Two pizzas for kiddos, salad and a lobstah roll to fill out family order. Pizzas solid 3.5, grilled chicken Caesar 3.5, lobstah roll (right size to enjoy) solid 4. Beer list good sone local stuff which is always great. So why five stars. The barkeep. Patrick! We went Friday night August 2nd 2024 and had the Mediterranean Salad and the fried Fish and chips. The food was really fresh and the fish had a nice light batter made with Guinness stout! What a great place! The owners have done a fantastic renovation. This used to be one of the older bars in the city and now it is bright and vibrant! It has basically an open floor plan but there is seating around that gives the feel of your own space to visit with friends. Tonight was my first time in here and I was watching people order fried whole belly clams, lobster rolls, Guinness beer, and also there was a trivia for music bingo that started. Skeff's, in any other town, would be billed as a "gastropub"--that is, a bar that cares about and serves really delicious food. Somehow, in the back of this unassuming little bar there's a magician doing prep, creating really interesting recipes, and making a go of doing something really fun and interesting. On our recent visit we tried some of the rotating types of egg rolls--ours were filled with artichoke dip and they were piping hot and tasty. We also had a cheesesteak and the fried chicken sandwich, and both were outstanding. The cheesesteak would have made Philadelphia proud, and the chicken sandwich was so juicy and flavorful. Oh, and they cook these shoestring fries that are fantastic--crunchy and hot, and they'll toss them with one of several different seasonings. There's also interesting beers and cocktails on offer, in addition to lots of old reliables. To top it off the person behind the bar was super friendly and knew the menu and the bar up and down. Can't recommend this place highly enough. Here in EP where options are minimal, it's great to have not only one more but one that's truly good. read more

I have been frequenting this place lately.... It's close to where I live and the food is really good a lot of scratch cooking and specials , I have never had a bad meal... and the bartenders are friendly and make terrific drinks the only one thing I would say is that's it's very loud!!! They have many TVs which is great if you're there to watch a game or event but You can't really have a conversation... between the TVs and the jukebox it's a lot.... I think it's great if there is a game on or if it's a weekend night but lunch or dinner perhaps lower the volumes... although it's loud the food outweighs it.... I will continue to support this business and enjoy many more meals but maybe with earplugs!!! read more

Have been wanting to try this place as it just opened up within walking distance of our house. We were very happy we did! The food was awesome and reasonably priced. It was our first time here, St. Patrick's day night. Our waitress was fantastic!! She was attentive, personable, and answered all of our questions about beer on tap, different IPAS, and menu items, which we weren't expecting because of the busy nature of the holiday. She recommended us the homemade Shepard pie special and let me tell you. One of the best Shepards pies I've ever had. Cajun fries were perfectly spiced and my friends loved the boneless wings. We went there for the first time on a Sunday afternoon. Decent crowd. The new design is really nice and a great place to watch a game. My buddy had the lemon pepper wings. Though cooked perfectly, the taste was not too good. We didn't have any other food but the menu looked good. Hopefully the other food is better. Drink prices were reasonable. read more
