This restaurant is like the town it's in... Unexpected and incredible. It's in a tiny remote beach town, Nerano. From the outside it looks like a little hotel. From inside, the most gorgeous, immaculate, beautifully designed dining room with the best beach view I've ever seen. The host, sommelier and the chef are some of the most kind and friendly people I've ever met. They have many unique seafood dishes and some tasting menus.
We did the 7 course, which ended up being 10 courses of hand crafted, delicate and delicious seafood experiences. The tuna on the fiery hot sea stone was something I will remember forever.
The wine pairings were incredible and we learned about each wine and it's story from Mariella the sommelier.
The local pasta specialty there is pasta with zucchini. Sounds simple, but it was the most flavorful surprises of the night.
We had about 4 desserts! Each completely different and magical. The chefs family makes their own olive oil which was the best I've ever experienced. We even got a bottle to take home and will cherish it while it lasts.
If you're a foodie, a seafood lover, and have high standards for quality fine dining, this will blow your mind. We came in the morning for breakfast and came back again because it was also amazing. We will be back someday to this magical place. read more
