Ok update, still won't ever shop nor send anyone there!! Bought a used car in the winter. One of my first questions was why is there a new headliner? Got the answer other one was dirty....real answer was it had bad water damage. Instead of fixing the sun roof, throw in a new head liner and when they ask tell them it doesn't leak. I bought the car in the winter which wasn't the car I was looking at but this was the same model less miles and less money. Couldn't figure out why. Yup know I know why, tail light issues, water damage under all the carpets. Never a call back, never an email back. Figures when I was looking I couldn't call back fast enough and they would hound me. Either way I will never go here again, hell I have free oil changes left but I would rather let Stevie Wonder change it he can see better then these clowns. read more

we went there to get a oil change and they asked my husband if he wanted a tire rotation he said ok so we sat there for over 3 hours to find out they broke our lug nuts , studs, wheel bearings ,hubs,and they only paid for the hub and they may make us pay for car rental if they do than we will have paid $350.00 for car rental plus $92.80 for the oil change,lug nuts , studs , wheel bearings so in all we paid $442.80 they only paid $19.00 how is that fair read more

I've been a few times and every time I go there we get a bad sales person. They treat you like you're just there to waste their time. It sad that we try to do business with them and they always assume we're not buying. Twice I had to go else where and buy from other dealers Bc their sales persons are better. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience and customer service. Thursday I allowed for information about a vehicle and let them know I was interested in a trade, Friday I got a call asking me to "come right in" so I did. They did all my processing credit check ( even though the guy had no clue how to send it to me) he asked what kind of vehicle I was looking for, I explained and then he goes into another room (holding his mask in his hand, mind you he never once put it on) came back told me they had a Terrain coming in Monday and that would be perfect, I explained that it didn't have the towing capacity I needed (7800 pounds) they assured me it did and told me to come back Monday. I asked for a Yukon/Tahoe. Something big enough to hold my family and pull our camper. Monday comes I get a call, guy didn't remember the majority of our conversation, after filling him back in he said to give him an hour (ok that's fine) long story short, after 8 calls he told me to " look at the website find another car and call him back" looks like I'll be going somewhere else. read more

The alternator was making a noise, bad bearing, the car had 65575 miles on it and I was told that was not covered under the drive train warranty. If that's not part of the drive train, but a bad thermostat is part of the drive train, makes no sense to me. Also the dealer wanted $572.00 to replace. I looked the part up on AutoZone and it was only $170.00!!!!! GM dealerships are a rip off when it comes to something not under warranty. read more

Just bought a new traverse from Taylor Chevrolet. Our salesman was Kevin Dodson. He was so helpful, he went out of his way to make sure my wife and I were completely satisfied. He got us the vehicle we we wanted and with the best price possible. And the Service Department is the best in the area. I have passed up a lot of dealerships to get to theirs, but it was worth it. This is going to be a long review and dealt with this dealership for a week with absolutely NO Satisfaction and a lot of frustration. To be honest, I really feel that they discriminated against me. I was pre-approved with Capital One Auto Finance; I am in Arizona and saw a 2006 Maserati located in Taylor, MI at Taylor Chevrolet. (I've already test drove a Maserati and loved it). I called the dealership either on Jan 4 or Jan 5 and first spoke with a guy name Andy. To confirm what Capital One said, I asked Andy if they work with Cap1 Auto Finance and he said "Yes" I said great, well I'm really interested in the 06 Maserati and said that I've been pre-qualified already and wanted to talk with someone about the car. Andy then says I need to apply with them via their website, ok no issue. I asked again for clarification if they work with Cap1 Auto Finance (well, I guess he got annoyed) and he said "Yes, already we do." Get a VM from Dennis (Internet Sales Manager) saying they got my application, I tell him that I'm already pre-approved. Dennis then asks if I will be putting money down and I tell him "No, let's see what happens" Dennis said "Ok, I'll put that down and see what they say" I'm thinking, who is "they" The next day, I get a call/VM from Andy saying "We checked on that car and Cap1 won't approve you for the loan because they cannot find the value of the car with the NADA" I call Andy back, he acts nonchalant and says "they won't approve you for the loan" I call CAP1 and lady tells me the value from KBB and she said I wasn't getting approved because the dealership was pricing the car about $2000 more than what it was worth. I call Andy back and tell him what I find out and again, he must have been annoyed as he started saying "well, I don't know how they found that info but they're not going to approve you anyway" So I ask to speak a manager and Andy transfers me to Jason Lily (Finance Manager) I speak with him, explain what's going on and he said he will look into it for me and call me back. Jason then calls and leaves a message says they found the info and the value of the car and they are ok with the deal, but that I will need to put $1300 down. WTF, are you serious? After Cap1 already told me they are pricing it $2000 more than what it's worth. I call Jason and explained will not be putting any money down and started to explain that the interior of the car has issues and would probably cost $$$ to be fixed (luxury car, of course). Jason says he will talk with his boss in the morning. Next morning. I speak with Jason and he says his boss, Jimmy? is willing to sell the vehicle "AS-IS" no warranty, etc. they said issue with the radio and that we would need to get it fixed. now we're talking paperwork, Jason tells gives me the numbers, I ask if they can take off $60-100 and Jason texts me with "not to be rude, but this deal is wearing me out" WOW!! I'm the customer!! Is it because I'm not putting any Money down? This is how I get treated? Then Jason "threatens" us basically if I don't stop asking for this and that, they are going to send the car to Auction! AGAIN, WOW!!! We ask the fee for shipping and he says "$800" then Andy calls me and leaves a message saying the transport fee is $1,041. Jason tells me I need to send copy of documents and proof of insurance so that he can draft the contract. Keep in mind, it's a week into this deal. Jason tells me that they take the car to the Maserati dealership, they decided to get the radio fixed for us and then he says something with the heater is not working. We spoke with Jason and said, we'll fix the issue with it and we'll take it "AS-IS" Today Jason calls and tells my fiance' that they cannot sell the car and will be sending it to auction. WOW!?! We waited ALL Week, just to hear that they cannot sell us the car and will send it to Auction! The MOST FRUSTRATING EXPERIENCE. I HONESTLY FELT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST AND TREATED BADLY. read more

I went in to Taylor Chevrolet after having a bad experience at another Chevy dealership. I walked in and was helped by Flo. She was so great. She worked really hard to get me into the car that I wanted and a reasonable price. I am so glad that I went to this dealership. The other one tried to get me in a older tiny hatchback!! I walked in on Friday and a few hours later I was signing papers for my gently used Chevy Equinox - exactly what I wanted and pretty much fully loaded to boot! I couldn't be more happier. I just wish I would have been able to take delivery that day, but they needed to clean it up and fix a few things. Nonetheless, I am really excited and can't wait to drive my SUV! read more

I will never again buy another car from this dealership. Its a super long story so the short version is my sales person was a liar. He told me that a 2013 Malibu just came in with 30,000 miles and I should come look at it. When I got here the story completely changed. They pulled around a 2007 grand Prix!??. What happened to the Malibu??? The guy that pulled it around had no idea what I was talking about. I was beyond pissed. Eventually the manager got the owner involved and he got me in a nice newer Malibu after about a week. Now I'm here again to have work done and the guy never scheduled my appointment that I called about last week. So now I've been sitting here since 10am. Every time I come here its always something. I'm done. I will always be grateful the owner got me in my car but it was a bad experience all the way around. read more

I took my car in for a check engine light issue and brake check. I made an appointment and dropped the car off and the service advisor said she would call with an estimate time that it would be done (Last time I took my car in they said they would call and never did). After 4 hours of not hearing anything, I called and left a message with my advisor, she did not call me back, so after an hour passed I called again. The operator kept forwarding me to her phone, which went directly to voicemail. I spend about 10 minutes calling back trying to tell someone to give me to an available service member, instead of forwarding me to a dead end. When I finally reached someone, they told me my car had not been looked at yet and it would probably be ready the next day and that they would call. Luckily, I did not need my car the next day. I waited for a call and finally at two o'clock, I called them. The service advisor asked if I was over 21 because she did not think my car had been looked at yet and would put me in a rental. She told me she wasn't sure if they had one on site because the rental desk was at lunch and not answering. I got a ride to the dealership and she told me my car was ready. Nothing had come of the check engine light and I was told per GMCs specs on my brakes that the constant squeaking was normal. I waited for my car to be pulled around, but they had lost my keys. For 20 minutes, they searched before discovering that a person out on a test drive had them in his pocket. I was sent to the lobby to wait until he returned. Once he returned, they have me the keys, I went out to my car and from the driver's side door to behind the back wheel well was multiple black marks. I figured it was dirt, but it wouldn't rub off. I went back inside and had to wait while someone buffed the marks off. I spent about an hour and a half waiting for my car when I should've been able to get it within 10 minutes. I will not be returning to Taylor Chevy. read more

I had my car in the shop for over a month, I received it back today and the whole car was ransacked!!!! I could not believe what I was seeing, somebody went through all my belongings in the car and threw it all over the inside vehicle. This is how they delivered back to me, after talking to the service manager he stated that they had serval broken into like that. My questing is why was the car left uplocked along with other customers vehicles that were ransacked as well!!! Shame on TAYOR CHEVROLET!!!!!!! If I could put zero stars I would ! They sold me a lemon 2015 Dodge Charger out they're used department! No one will answer questions about my car getting serviced! They do not care at all ! I never met "professional" ppl like this before . Very unprofessional! They are the biggest liars ever ! Lie about everything instead of being truthful about situations! I haven't even had that car 3 months it's no way it should have to have gotten serviced twice already! Dealer saying it's not there fault okay and it's not mine either ! They're saying its a process towards them getting me another car ! Just a really big mess ! They even lie in the beginning about what your car note will be until you get your real first car note in the mail and be thinking like wow this not what they told me ! After the service was completed this last time I was discussing some service that was done previously with the service manager, Mark Len I believe his name is. I believe that there was a different kind of coolant that was put in the vehicle then there was this most recent time which I believe cause an issue which damaged my coolant hoses which I had to pay to replace. After some discussion I ended up basically being called a liar by said service manager which made me upset. I told him that was bullsh*t and I just walked out and left. As I was walking out I heard the service manager slam his office chair against the wall violently. I left around closing time and on my way home I realized that my air conditioning was not working (it was working when I dropped it off). One of the issues this time was a noise I was hearing, which I thought was the blower motor. They did replace the blower motor but the issue ended up being the ac compressor. When I went back the next morning the service advisor told me they could make me an appointment for the following week and they couldn't get me right in. They said I could come back in an hour when the service manager was in and talk to him about it. I waited an hour, went back and talked to Mark. He said, 'because of your violent outburst we are no longer working on your vehicle." I found that statement ironic because all I said was him calling me a liar was bullshit and just walked out, he's the one that slammed his chair against the wall. He basically told me to go somewhere else and refused to one of the original issues that they missed diagnosed. By the way they had my car for 3 weeks... which was a little ridiculous in and of itself. In the last year I took my car there for a 3 or 4 times and they had it for a total of 2 or 2 1/2 months... I was never a huge fan of dealerships in general. I was hoping with this warranty it would help change that but that was not the case. It was nice being able to get things fixed that were covered under the warranty but it wasn't worth the stress and frustration I had to deal with to get the work done. I don't think I'll ever go to any dealership and I definitely won't be back to Taylor Chevrolet and if anyone asks I will also steer them away. read more

I went online to Taylor Chevrolet because they say YES and my credit score is low. My first contact was a Taylor in sales who said in an email yes they could help. I gave my info and waited 2 days to hear back with negative results !! I left 2 voice mails again negative results !!! a day later a Dennis called said he was taking over for Taylor ?? OK again a few days past no word ?? I left 3 voice mails for Dennis. A day later reached him and he was out sick. Understandable ! however in sales you always have a partner that takes care of business while your out. Dennis said he would get on it and call me back. 5 days later and NO Dennis. Left a voice mail for Jodi Lee Smith who informed me he forwarded my concerns to Jim Marshall Dennis boss and have him call me... Well here we go again another 5 days went by and no call from Jim ???? I finally called and reached him and went over my disappointment with everything. He never once apologized for any of it only asked what he could do for me ???? I went on live chat asking you the gm was and was told it was Mark Montante. I asked that he contact me directly over my concerns and was told my information would be passed on to Mark and HE WOULD contact me. Guess what NO call surprise surprise !!!!!! NO follow up skills here at all. Seems like if they cant help you they dont want to deal with you. Sad !!!! read more
