We get our oil changed here, and they are quick, and efficient. They are always friendly, and go over details of what's being done. They have great customer service, and when our car bumper needed to be fixed they did a really good, and I feel in love with the loaner car lol I drove that car everywhere; my neighbor ended up buying one because they liked it so much. I had called on the specials they were running and the sales manager told me that they had lot of cars on the lot with those specials. Drove 45 minutes and then was told yeah, we are waiting on vehicles. Why lie over the phone about all the vehicles that they had ready to go under the specials they were running? We took our 2025 Buick Envision 15k miles to the dealer to check the Excusive oil consumption issue. (Which has been documented since we purchased the cat new.) The service writer tells my wife oil level is one quart low. Says "They DONOT recommend adding a quart of oil!! We should have the oil changed, being it is close to the mileage for next service. They do not want to add oil out of THIER pocket. Want me to pay for an oil change. GM has a major problem with this motor and the motor in the Buick encore also. The dealership cannot do a lot, how can you recommend to run a engine 1quart of oil low?? I think i will be looking for a new dealer to work with. read more

On 9/29 I took my 2023 1500 Denali to Moran GMC Taylor where I had purchased my vehicle. The transmission light was on. Much to my shock they have no transmission certified technician employed. They have someone who comes in one day a week and it would be 3 weeks to have my vehicle looked at. They had no loaner to give me! I was not given any help. I called other dealers and Gordon Chevrolet has 5 fulltime certified transmission technicians . Moran has no business selling vehicles that they can't service. I will never go there again and urge others to avoid this dealership. read more

Purchased a 2023 Acadia AT4 in April of 2025. Made a service appointment later in the year. Everything was great. Problem fixed?? Same issue with the vehicle in December 2025. Made an appointment on Dec. 19th. They could not get me in until February 2nd of this year because I needed a loaner vehicle. The dealership was then purchased by Taylor Chevrolet prior to my service appointment and now they had no loaners available so my appointment was cancelled until they had loaners available. All I get now is, "you are on the list for a loaner vehicle". Nobody knows anything. I still do not have a confirmed service appointment for this vehicle and Feb. 19th will be two months since the original call for service. First impressions are important and Taylor Chevrolet, as this dealership is now called, is definitely not making a good one. read more

Purchased my 2nd vehicle from Moran 2 weeks ago. Had a great experience with Lori Wild, she made buying a vehicle a no pressure experience. She was attentive and professional while also feeling like a friend. Had a problem with new vehicle and it needed service, I was told it would be a few days before it could be looked at. I was put in a rental vehicle and the repair was completed within 24 hours! The service dept, Lori and sales manager were beyond accommodating helping me navigate while my vehicle was being serviced. I am a disabled veteran with a service animal (dog). I came from North Carolina to Michigan, moved by my family, the week before Thanksgiving. I had a health crisis and wound up in the VA hospital in Detroit for a week and my dog got stuck with my family. That drama led to family drama and family would not allow me back in their house. I'm OK and cool with that because I know who they are. THE Detroit VAMC did me wrong and essentially, in my opinion, left me homeless with a broke down Chevy. I came to Taylor MI to a hotel near Moran Buick GMC on the advice of the contract transport driver for the VA who is also a minister! All that to explain what a great job, what an absolutely fantastic job Moran Buick GMC did for me over the weekend of December 13-16 2024. They gave me one of the best blessings ever since my discharge from the hospital! If you have any general motors made vehicle and need service use this dealership!!! It was highly recommended to me by the lady at the front desk in my hotel the night I checked in. I contacted them the next morning and even though they were extremely busy, I was able to get the right person to handle my oil change tire rotation by Monday morning Later I plan to call them about replacing or at least securing an oxygen sensor that's due for a replacement in my Chevy. My daughter bought out her lease in March [2019 Encore] , a month later a warning light came on [stabil trac ] The vehicle is under warranty so she took it in to have it fixed. 3 days later they called and told her there was corrosion on the sensor and warranty will not cover it . They offered no proof of corrosion , no Pic , no come and see before we reassemble the console . After a little research I found this same sensor is a common problem for this model and is under recall . The dealer clams someone must have spilled something causing the modul to corrode. There was no sigh they even disassembled the console at all. The service department offered no proof of anything just excuses of why they won't honor the warranty and offered to fix it for 1,000 $ The salesman [Dennis] was the first to wash his hands of the problem. I will never deal with MORAN BUICK GMC in Taylor again. Today they lost my business. I had a loaner for 24 hours while my car was in for warranty work. When I returned the loaner they wanted to file a claim against my insurance for a slice at the bottom of the rear bumper. See the pics. The slice was even less noticeable until they started pulling on it. After going round and round with them the GM said he would eat it. When I went to leave I had to sign paper work for the warranty repair. They tried to slip in the condition report stating that I returned the car with rear bumper damage. I am writing this review to express my extreme dissatisfaction with Moran Buick in Taylor, Michigan. My 2017 Buick Regal has been in the service department at Moran for a few weeks now to receive service traditionally covered under the vehicle's powertrain warranty. The engine problems the vehicle is experiencing are well-documented issues with the Regal. There are plenty of technical service bulletins and other Regal owners experiencing these identical issues prevalent on Buick forums and through simple searches. I received a call from the service department to inform me that the vehicle would not qualify for warranty coverage. Dissatisfied, I asked for a return call from the manager. When the manager returned my call, the conversation immediately started-off combative and argumentative. The dealership's service department seems to looks for any and all reasons to try to void the warranty, under the guise that Buick is difficult to deal with on their end (the sales manager's words). By the end of the conversation, I thought we were in a good place, as we met a resolution that I would provide documentation and service records for the vehicle, and he would reach out to Buick to look further into this specific situation. After providing the requested documentation, I'm still getting the run around, and the dealership is now requesting that I approve a $700 "repair" for them to further investigate the issue and to determine if the engine issues "might" qualify for warranty coverage. Based on my experience so far with Moran, I simply cannot trust that the company. I have purchased 12 brand new GM products in the past 25 years. My father worked for GM for 30 years. I've never once had a vehicle receive warranty service, or had a negative experience with any dealership under the GM umbrella (Chevrolet, Buick, GMC, even Oldsmobile). This situation and negative experience has tainted my perception of the GM and Buick brand. I hope that this review will result in a contact from dealership management or a representative from Buick that can provide a more professional and appropriate response to my current situation at Moran. read more

Purchased a used vehicle from Moran Buick GMC in Taylor in late November. Within the first week, I called the sales guy back because it felt like the engine was "pulling" when I took off or accelerated while driving. He convinced me that it was only because of the computer and I wasn't used to driving a newer car. He convinced me that I would get used it, that it just had a slower take-off. So, kept driving it for a couple of months, still experiencing the same issues, but got "used to it." My boyfriend drives it one day and says that there is def something wrong with it. I call back the dealership, but it was the first week of COVID and they were closed. Couldn't get a hold of anybody at all. Took it to a local shop and it turns out that it has a BROKEN (not bad, broken) engine mount. So, the pulling that I was feeling, was actually the motor rocking back and forth! Still can't get an appt at the dealership service department, so I get it fixed on my own. Fast forward a month and I go to use the A/C (remember I purchased it in the winter). The light only flashes when I try to use it, but it doesn't turn on. I read the owner's manual and it says that if the light flashes 3 times that it means that it's not hot enough outside. Ok. So, I don't worry about it cuz it was only in the 70's. Try to use it again during the first 90 degree weekend, and it still doesn't work. Fast forward a week. Get a low tire, so take it to Belle Tire. They come out with the tire fixed, but tell me that I need $2k worth of suspension work done and that I should get it done ASAP cuz it's been bad for awhile. I call the dealership. Finally am able to get in touch with somebody and after 4 calls to management, they agree to do a free inspection. They say that they don't see what Belle Tire sees and that I shouldn't trust them "at all." (I have had tons of work done at Belle Tire and have never had an issue with them). Dealership says it does look a little "wet" (whatever that means), but that they wouldn't put any $$ into fixing it and that I'm fine to drive as-is. They also did a "visual check" on the A/C (cuz I refused to pay the $260 inspection fee) and said "no leaks showing." They SWEAR that it was working when I purchased it. Take it to an oil change place to have it recharged, but it won't turn on for them to be able to refill. Take it to Engine Tech Center in Lincoln Park (been working with them for 20+ years and no issues, ever). It needs $2k worth of work done because the evaporator is bad. And probably been bad for awhile. So, I call the manager back at Moran and explain to him again all of the issues that i've had since purchasing. He says, "you purchased it 6 months ago, as-is, not sure what you want me to do about it." (Exact words) Mind you, I literally got out of my last vehicle because the A/C was bad and was too expensive too fix!! And now I'm paying a car payment for a car with the same issue. Completely understand that it was an "as-is" purchase (only have powertrain warranty), but I was told it had A/C and it doesn't! I'm so upset!! Will never buy another vehicle from them, ever! read more

I don't know where to begin, I seen this ad for a Blue TrailBlazer and I wanted to check it out. I talked to a older gentleman named Chuck King. He definitely talked a good game but could not back it up whatsoever. I test drove the Blazer around the parking lot because they hadn't conducted a safety check for the car just yet. I asked Chuck "how long does a safety check normally take?" He responded "anywhere from one to two days." I am at week two and still haven't heard anything about a safety check being done. I tried texting Chuck but was only left on read. This to me is very unprofessional and I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here. The ad said that their detailing team cleaned the car and things of that nature. The car was not clean at all, and it reeked of cigarettes. read more

We've bought our last 3 cars here and we'll continue to do so. The building is well kept and clean inside. The lot has quite a bit of variety. Prices are comparable to other area dealers. Dennis is always our guy and he's great. He's very patient with our list of what we're looking for and works hard to find it. My lease is up soon and I'm looking forward to going and picking out my next car with him. Chris in the shop is always SUPER nice. I get my oil changes here and they always wash my car before giving it back to me. They take FOREVER, which I don't love. Even with an appointment, I'm there over an hour. But there is a tv, water, and coffee in the waiting area, along with comfy chairs. When it was still owned by Zubor, Mr Zubor himself actually let my little one play in his office a couple times. He was such a great guy, and it's a bummer he's not there anymore. read more

I bought my new 2019 Buick Encore on May 9, 2019 from Art Moran with 4 miles on it. Out of the lot it pulled excessively to the right, to the extent that when I let go of the wheel, I clipped a biker in his lane. When I took it back to repair, they lied about repairing it 3 times, then, Jim Williams, the Service Manager told me: I didn't understand road crowning in Taylor (I live in Chicago and have lived in LA, San Francisco, Atlanta and New York), all of which have that. He then told me I did't "set the wheel right," then asked me if I really knew how to drive. They lied to me about the repair, 3 times, and insulted me by saying "it was in my head." It is a safety issue all day. They have had my car longer than I had, new, and cannot fix it. They are liars, the car is flawed, and I have no resolution. This dealer is not the place to go. The sales person offered to have my trade in appraised. Before I went to Zubor I did my home work. They have this wonderful thing called the Internet. It's amazing what you can find on here as far as going rates for vehicles in your area ,blue book offers ,black book offers and so on . The sales men said there is no market for it diesel trucks downriver ! I live downriver and I see Diesel trucks every day. The sad part was I planed on buying a 44,000.00 truck from them and they low balled me on my trade in. I took it to A Nother GMC dealership and they offered me 7,000 more then Zubor did. I pulled up for an oil change on a bright sunny day I was out running errands only to be turned away because I didn't have an appointment. 3 years ago, I wanted to lease a Terrain. I went to Zubor (now Moran) and looked around their lot. I was met by Lou. I told him I was looking for something besides a black interior. He told me he would check around and get back to me. After several days he hadn't called so I called him. He told me he was still looking and would get back to me. This went on and on. Over a 3 week period, I called him probably 10-12 times. He NEVER returned a single call. Desperate because my old lease was days away from ending, I showed up to find something on the lot. He acted like we never spoke before. I took something from the lot and swore I wouldn't be back. One week ago, I got a letter from Lou because this lease is almost up. I called him and we talked about getting together that evening. I showed up, told him I was looking for an Encore this time. He didn't offer a test drive. He didn't have me sit down to discuss numbers. Nothing. He jotted down some basic information and said he would get back to me later that evening. By 8 o'clock I hadn't heard anything from him (surprise) so I reluctantly called. He said he was real busy and he would get back to me the next morning. I never heard from him again and I am done with Moran/Zubor for life. What kind of customer service is that? In my 63 years on the planet, I have never had a car salesman not return a call. Not just once, but many times - over a three year period. UNBELIEVABLE! I will make it my life's work to let everyone I come into contact with about my experience there. btw, the service department has been great. I was very disappointed with my service April12-14. I made an appointment for Wednesday at 10 am and my car was not finished until Friday evening. It was obvious that the car was not even looked at until Thursday afternoon. I was given a loaner on Friday evening because I couldn't get there in 40 minutes before they closed. I only used 45 miles in 4 1/2 days and after paying over $3200 for repairs, I was told to go across the street and fill up the car. It took TWO GALLONS for a total of $6.21. How sad to think that this new dealership couldn't even afford a lousy $2 after I had spent over 3 thousand dollars! Even sadder, my husband has to use a wheelchair. Not one of the service men offered to help me take it from the lease car to my Enclave. Thankfully, a maintenance man saw me struggling and came and helped. I wrote MoranBuickGMC management and Jim Fisher the service manager and was not even given a response. Needless to say, we won't be back. It is sad considering we have done business with Rowan for years. read more
