Wow, 111 reviews since 3/24/2014, and all of them 5 stars. I clicked through and the 24 not recommended reviews are all of 5 star rating. Even the sole review removed for violating the Yelp terms of service was a 4 star review. Me, I'm a relatively tough sell, rather sparing with my granting of 5 stars. But my experience with Taylor Entertainment did not rate breaking their thus far 2 year run. I did not hire Taylor Entertainment. Rather, I was an adult guest at a kids' party that had a face painter in attendance with her poster of facial options. Then later on, a balloon artist joined the party as well with his well armed tool belt. Both were good at their craft and terrific with the children. Neither knew the other, but that was by no means a prerequisite for working the same party. Just be careful around that lightweight signage, as it could (it had nearly) potentially topple over an unwary child. read more

Unfortunately I wish I could say that we received the same experience as most of the reviewers on here, but that was not the case. I booked Taylor Entertainment because of their reviews on YELP. I even booked almost a month in advance. In the email of questions they sent over for me to confirm, I wish "Male or Female" would have been added as a preferred preference. It is my experience, that females just tend to work better with littles. Not ALL but majority do. I was reassured that the male they were sending me from Las Vegas was highly recommended and works great with children. On the contrary, he barely spoke a word. Not to the adults or to the children. Again, just my opinion/review here but then he shows up covered in tattoos, with his chest out showing. I have nothing against tattoos - I myself even have a few but for a little girl's princess birthday party, always keep it professional, that includes buttoning up your shirt so your chest hairs aren't showing. As for the face painting, dull and lack of pigmented colors was what their sweet little faces were met with. You could barely make out what was on their face. Very disappointed. I still tipped, because I am a firm believer in tipping! But will never hire Taylor Entertainment in the future. On top of ALL OF THAT - they reached out to me, via email, after our event was over to "Check In" . I voiced my concerns.... still have yet to hear back from them. UPDATE: In response to Taylor's comment after my review -- I am not here to go back and forth with you Taylor. Especially after that ridiculous and immature email YOU SENT ME last night. I am stating MY OPINION from MY EXPERIENCE with your company. You can scream "gender discrimination" all you want, but that was NOT THE CASE here. Gender discrimination would have been if I would have paid him less, then the female character I hired or treated him any differently than I treated her. Or better yet, neglected to tip him. I did none of those. In fact, if it was my son's 10th birthday, I would've PREFERRED a male artist. Because my son identifies with males, just like my 6yr old identifies with females. It's called a PREFERENCE NOT DISCRIMINATION. State the facts. And the fact is I did not have a good experience from your company. YELP is not or should not be able to only post those reviews that share the GOOD. You have to take the good with the bad! Period. Additionally, to say I have anything against tattoos is absurd. I even mentioned in the review, I have them myself. What I was referring to, were the tattoos that were exposed on his chest, from the buttons he left open on his shirt. Is that another etiquette or professional preference of mine? Absolutely. Especially if I am paying you to provide a service to my children. There are many companies that do already have that in place, and now I am aware that your company does not. Which again, YOUR company. You can run it how you want and I can choose to go elsewhere. Moving forward, I hope this is the last communication I have to have with you and your company. I never once asked for my money back, I only came on here to voice my concerns with the experience I had from Taylor Ent. and you didn't like I left you 1 Star. Clearly by your stars/reviews, you shouldn't be worried about mine. Punching bag?! I can post both of our emails from last night and we can let the reviewers decide who was out of line. Because it clearly was not me. I have read some pretty nasty reviews on Yelp, so if you think the one I posted is from what you said in your email to me "disgusting" you should really look into my concerns with an open mind and not an "attack". To try to make amends as a business who wants to see returning customers. Whether it is from me or not. How can anyone trust a company with NO bad reviews. Are they really that good, or have reviewers been bullied into deleting them or having it removed from Yelp? Lastly the lack of a good impression was left with many of my guests that day from the face painting, so the one guest you mention that had a party that same day with the same employee, was not a guest from my party. I really hope the rights of reviewers continue to hold true when stating facts. To not be afraid or bullied to say when they didn't like an experience. I booked balloon twist and face paint combo for my son's birthday. As the website mentioned, both of the artists (Victor and Brittaney) were super fast and very well crafted! They were extremely trained artists at Disney and it simply blew my mind. We had 15 children but all could get 2 rounds of balloons and even moms and dads could get face painted! We had Taylor come to do caricature art for our baby girl's 1st birthday party at our house. Wanted to share how amazing it was to have John as the artist for our party! Our guests enjoyed having their caricature drawn and got a lot of positive feedback about it!
