He was immediately turned off by the pushy staff that met us at the door, and handed us things to purchase. The staff continued to try and push me to go downstairs and try maternity clothes. I continued to politely decline, but the staff insisted I go look. My husband and I ended up putting all the clothes back that we picked out. We felt uncomfortable and left empty handed. We chose to visit a different kids consignment shop in the area and had a much better experience. This store does have a great selection, but some of the items are not in the best conditions.

The sales associate referred to the printing on the receipt, "as per our policy," which, yes, I can read. She and the owner were incredibly rude and the owner said that my mother had returned a lot of things before. This makes me think she wouldn't return something because of my mother in law which is even worse. I understand this is a small business, which is all the better reason to be respectful to your customers, even if you cannot make exceptions to your policy. Would I have loved if I could return for a store credit, yes of course, but I would have been okay with them not accepting my return if they were polite.
