She was informed it could be a stain and they would have to try cleaning it first before determining if it was defective. Third, the next day, my mom needed to ask them to fix the carpet under the radiator in the first room before starting on a bedroom upstairs. While she was getting a different room ready since the room with pink thread wasn't going to be fixed that day, she realized she didn't hear anything and went to look. No one or any tools upstairs or in the room that was being fixed but the radiators were off. Looking outside, no vehicle and no tools in garage. THEY LEFT WITHOUT SAYING A WORD! Forth, upon repeatedly calling them to get answers, a response was given "not everything was removed from the closets". The workers even took pictures. Nice, they take pictures of a room that is not ready since you need to put things someplace while a room is done before you can shuffle things back and don't start on the room next to it that was ready to go since the day before! From that point she was told she agreed to the product number, as though they didn't screw up. She new the name and the cost she was told. This put us in an incredible bind and thus meant that quote we understood was not correct. In addition they didn't get the carpet done installed in the window of time we were told as well. Looking back at the quote and billing the name and number were on the form but the cost per square foot was not. My wife was adamant that she would have noticed the lesser cost. Go with Kohl's Flooring instead.

We had them re-finish 3 rooms, the main staircase and add oak to the previously carpeted hallway. The transitions from each room were a bit tricky and thoughtfully executed. The stain color was exactly what we were looking for---which was tough to do on red oak. There was one bubble that we noticed after everything was done (it happens when stain seeps into a crack in the wood and then pops out after the clear coat). Steve came over and sanded the boards the next day, re-stained and clear coated them. We are so pleased and will definitely use them again to finish our kitchen after we remodel that.

This was easily the worst experience I had considering all of the contractors involved over the last 18 months. It would be a 1 star review had they not at least came out almost a month later to somewhat improve initial rough work at the end of the process. Made it clear to the measurer and then the installer before work began that the area around the base of the stair railings needed to be right up to the edge as that would not be an area where we would be putting any trim. These are narrow hallway areas with expansion room on 3 other sides so no concerns of lack of expansion gap there. Also received the job order to sign off on and matching trim pieces were included which I requested not be ordered, but was told they were already ordered and could not be cancelled BEFORE I returned the signed order to proceed. Was told that I would be charged if any additional prep work was needed and turned out the subfloor was in great shape except for one area where it was a little high requiring the installer to splice in about a 10' x 2' piece of subfloor to level out. At the end of the install I was told this was 9 man hours of work and would be over $1,100 additional. I couldn't even imagine how that added up. Job could have been done in 2-3 days but 2 installers were here 4 days as they were only here 3.5-5 hours a day. Sent an email to Eric Langan who recently took over the company almost a week ago and no response. Really disappointed overall, but paid the full bill and learned a lesson I guess.
