We went to Taziki's for Lunch. It was a busy day but we were able to order quickly. We both ordered the Grilled Salmon Feast with extra butter sauce. We waited just about 5 minutes and our orders were brought out. The food was presented to us fresh, hot, and it looked great. My fish was one of the best salmon steaks that I have eaten in quite a while. It was perfectly cooked, flavorful and delicious. The salad that it was served with was very fresh and the rice was cooked perfectly. Tried ordering online but it would not go through. So I called to order over the phone. Lady answered I stated I wanted to make a pick up order. She said ok. I said ok. Little bit of silence on the phone. I then asked if she wanted my information or what I wanted to ordered. She said ok? Silence again before getting an attitude with me and asking what I wanted. Went to pick up at 3 like I had asked was not ready. Which was fine wasn't in a hurry but then didn't walk out of there till 3:40. Got home and I had Ordered a family feast for 6 people and the food isn't even enough to feed 3 people maybe. The experience today yeah I get it. It's a Saturday you're busy fine I'm ok with that but for the amount of money I paid for the food there is just no excuse for the amount of food I was given. This place is not for me. If you want great Greek food, I recommend you head to Rome To Greece in Madison for some real delicious greek/Mediterranean food! I ordered for dinner via doordash. I was surprised how fast my order got here, so that was nice. I ordered the appetizer whipped feta dip that came with a burnt and slightly burnt pita chips, baklava, and a grilled beef gyro. The gyro had absolutely no flavor from the beef itself and the sauce. It was also pretty soggy. I also ordered the greek lemon soup and definitely was not a fan. I guess I wasn't expecting the soup to be super sour. The only flavor you get from the soup is a lemon which I guess you have made your point because lemon is all I taste. The baklava was half a piece and pretty good. This is my third time having Tazikis and unfortunately it never hit the spot for me.
