The falafel was on the extra crispy side and I didnt eat the chips or potatoes cause I was already full. May get the platter next time. Ambience was good and the restaurant had a huge seating area but unfortunately I didn't find the food appealing or filling. Service was pretty slow although the restaurant was only 20% full. The falafel gyro was bland with very less tzatziki sauce provided, filled with fried onions and served with roasted potatoes?! And the portion served for the price charged didn't add up. Y'all I am OBSESSED with Taziki's!! If you're ever in the mood for fresh and tasty Mediterranean food, this is the place! They have a great selection of entrees and sides to choose from (my favorite is the chicken kebab feast with rice and extra sauce!) and everything I've tried here is delicious. They even have baklava! My only negative here is they do tend to forget sides and/or drinks for delivery orders. I've never had an issue with them when eating in the restaurant, and staff is always friendly. They restaurant is also clean and beautiful! However, my husband is not with me on this business trip so he wasn't a factor. I bypassed all the negative post on YELP & gave this place a shot (thank God). The reviews were so bad, I'm glad I ignored that & went with my gut. The reviews were base on the prior owner. (I know this b/c I spoke the the NEW manager for over 30 minutes) I'm not kidding when I say this... I ate here two days in a row! Ordered the SAME THING! This Greek salad is the bomb! This was not a gyro, it was some ok beef strips cooked on a griddle served in the style of a gyro. I was not impressed. Plus it had minimal tzatziki. Had to ask for more and they gave me the crook- eye like I was asking for the world. My wife had the Mediterranean salad which she enjoyed. Would not eat here again. Clean Friendly Fast I can honestly say - hate the taziki sauce - what is dill in it for? Hate the grilled onions in a gyro I would give a 1 star for authentic Mediterranean for sure. 5 star for everything else. This was my First Taziki's experience! My traveling husband and I liked it so much that we came back less than a week later on our return trip! Each time, we got the same thing and were not left disappointed! From the food to the people, we were very pleased! Jared, the cook took care of us the first time with the kindest conversation and concern for our experience! He was phenomenal! Unfortunately, he wasn't there when we returned because he was celebrating his birthday, but even getting the same thing, our tummies and hearts were happy! I was at the grand opening of this restaurant, on that day my husband said I hope they maintain this hige standard! They did not!! I admit I dont like spice, but even the boiled rice is loaded with black pepper, salt and lemon oil. Floors look like they have not been cleaned in forever, especially around the hotplate! Potatoes were microwaved and served in a small polyester cup, half warm half cold! Pita chips seasoned and stale! I got called a liar when I said the food was to spicy to me, like I dont know my own taste buds! I asked for asparagus instead of their basmati rice or roasted new potatoes. I ordered hummus with pita bread. So the "feast" is 3 beef medallions and 4 asparagus spears with a salad the size of my palm. THEN I got the baked pita chips instead of the soft bread. The receipt even states soft pita. The food was fine but definitely disappointed especially when they're weren't even busy yet still managed to mess up the one thing I was looking forward to. The staff was friend though. read more

Taziki's used to be phenomenal when they first opened about 6 years ago. However, when they changed management and got rid of many of the menu items the place started going down hill. Now it is just hit or miss. If you go it is best to go during peak lunch and dinner times so you can be sure of getting what you want. As another reviewer reported, no dolmades. 2. Had to ask that a table be bussed so we could be seated. 3. About a 30 minute wait before we even started to receive our appetizers. 4. Others arriving after us received their food before us. This is a cardinal sin in the restaurant industry. 5. My shrimp "feast" (boy, that's rich) was a half dozen small, shelled shrimp, a handful of roasted potatoes, and a small salad. Underwhelming. 6. The staff was polite, thus the extra star in my rating. While I waited they brought me hummus and pita on the house. Since then it's slowed down a little and the service is much faster. The wait staff is attentive and friendly. Food is fresh and delicious! My husband said his lamb gyro was the best he's had anywhere, and I had the lamb salad which was amazing. The lamb is fresh, sliced and grilled at the time you order. We love Greek food, and we were looking forward to eating here. The cashier was friendly, but after paying and tip ($5 tip) we never were checked on or asked if we needed a refill on our drink. The food was honestly some of the worst food I've had. We ordered hummus and it was not thick at all. It was very thin and tasted sour (very lemony). The basmati rice and the roasted new potatoes were also very lemony. (And I like lemon but not as the only thing I can taste on my food). The potatoes were cold and hard. The lamb gyro was ok, but not good. The best thing we had was the potato chips that were out of a bag. I would not recommend or eat here again. read more
