I love it when the first dining spot I hit is a big ole WIN! Pulled into Oxford after a very long day of travel and so happy to be back in the south. Land of sweet tea and fantastic people. IOn a college visit girl trip and started with the Hotty Toddy Balls and Labneh...delish. Do not eat here without tasting both of these. Since our eyes were bigger than our stomachs, we shared the beef & lamb gyro. I'm used to the shaved meat, but not Volta...it's chunky goodness and fantastic. And of course I got my fill of sweet tea in their huge cup. If we get a chance to go back, I'd probably do it all over again. read more

Wow!! I adore Greek food and my husband - not so much. We Compromised - sushi last night, Volta today. We were blown away by the Gyros at Volta!Place is always packed...and for great reason! Got the chicken farro bowl and it was very filling, delicious, and a very large portion that I could eat for 2 meals. Their dressing was divine. Service was excellent and place had seating inside and outside. Was clean and high traffic which is usually hard to maintain. Would def return to try more items on the menu. read more

One of the best restaurants in Oxford without a doubt. The food is amazing, the humus is the best I've ever had, and everything tastes extremely fresh. I've had more than double digit meals here and I have never been disappointed. The only downside of this place and why I reluctantly am forced to give it 4 stars is due to the pride/trans flag hanging up, just unfortunate. Tried this spot for the first time. The menu is rather limited, but not bad. The young lady at the bar was extremely friendly and helpful. The margarita was decent. The food we ordered was okay, nothing exceptional, but not bad. Everything was overshadowed by how extremely rude the hostess and waitress were to us. The restaurant was not busy, so I'm not sure what the issue was. They did have a handwritten sign posted that you will not be seated until your entire party is there and then the bottom of the menu had another notice that all parties over 5 people will have a 20% gratuity automatically added. Just kind of a strange vibe, not very welcoming. We will definitely not be back after the treatment we received. Volta is a good spot for great frozen drinks and Greek food. I've come to Volta a few times and have always had a positive experience. My last visit was over Double Decker weekend at the end of April. Oxford locals can tell you it's a busy weekend - Volta managed to have us seated within a reasonable amount of time despite the crowd. Service has always been consistently decent. Nothing to write home about, but nothing negative either. Their food selection isn't too expansive, but what they have is delicious. This past visit I had the walnut and goat cheese salad. It was the perfect size! My friend and I shared the pita melt as an appetizer. The melted cheese was divine. If there is one thing about Volta that stands out it's the frozen mojito. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a delicious and refreshing drink! read more

Sadly, I picked up food to go. It was bad. Gyro was so sad compared to the other times i have eaten here. There was just no comparison. I have thought that it was one of the best...not today. Brussels were bad, too. I almost took it back. Not worth eating.:( read more

Was not expecting much from a Greek restaurant in Oxford,MA. BUT WOW the food was awesome and the service very friendly. They even messed one of our orders up and comped the mess up and got the right order out fairly quickly. It was a busy Saturday too as school was back in session. The chicken souvlaki was not a skewer of chicken but small chopped up pieces like shawarma with a weird taste of seasoning. The gyro salad was large but wasn't a traditional lemon vinergette, mostly oil and mostly salad. We had the sweet potatoes & Krinkle fries 3.99 only a side came to us cold after waiting 45 minutes for dine in food. They immediately replace with hot one on request. The restaurant is very spacious, which shocked me based on how small the restaurant looked from the outside. The service was OUTSTANDING! Our server Logan was very attentive, patient, and gave great recommendations. He was definitely the highlight of our visit. The food was also amazing! It didn't take long and the wraps were well seasoned. I had a Philly wrap, my wife had a lamb and beef wrap, and our friend had a falafel wrap. We all were extremely satisfied. I read that the Menu was "limited" ~ but I counted 3 dozen items, including many tasty Veggie Combos ~ Try the Fried Brussels Sprouts ($5). Party of five but I can only speak for my own wrap. I ordered the beef and lamb gyro which was one of the best that I've had in the south. The pita was nice and soft and the meat wasn't dried out and was beautifully seasoned. The sauce was well balanced and plentiful. Excellent Everyone at the table said their food was delicious. My only issue was I ordered the house made potato chips and considered them basically inedible which I'm sure could have been because we were one of the first orders and the grease wasn't hot enough?
