The food was not good -- the croissant was hard and stale and tasted far from fresh. What was even worse was the service. The white male cashier on the right side had a terrible attitude from the start. He handed me only half of my meal without saying the rest of the order was still coming. When I asked about the remaining portion of my meal, he snapped at me and raised his voice, saying "the rest is coming out" in a very rude and sneering manner. I would have asked to speak with a manager, but I was pressed for time. It's really a shame that some young employees are not trained properly in customer service and basic professionalism. Between the poor quality food and the terrible service, I would never return to this place.

He apologizes and says he'll let the manager know. The manager, who I can only assume is Lisa (based on the responses I'm seeing here on Yelp) came out and said I hear the food is cold? My sister tried to express that after waiting for a table, service and grounds in the coffee that this was disappointing - the manager interjects w "well did you tell him did he give you a new one" She does NOT take criticism very well, she's abrasive and leaves a bad taste in your mouth. She then came out (after I assume finding out the whole story and how long we had been there) she said she would take the two items off the bill, which we weren't gunning for. We then noticed her come and check in on the other tables outside bc people who got there well after us also got their food at the same time... Picked up tuna salad and quinoa by the pound that was fresh, herbed, perfectly balanced. The hot chocolate and mocha was richer and smoother than anything from the usual popular coffee spots.
