I placed a service request through my home warranty company for a drain stoppage. On 7/15, TB Plumbing sent a technician to my home. I paid the required $85 service fee. The technician appeared inexperienced and diagnosed the problem as a major branch line blockage. Based on the report he submitted to my home warranty company, my claim was denied. After questioning the diagnosis, I called TB Plumbing's office. I want to say that the office staff, especially Roxanne, were always courteous and professional. They scheduled a second technician to come out on 7/17. The second technician attempted to snake the line but was unable to clear it. He then told me I would need a camera inspection because there was probably a broken pipe, and if the pipe wasn't broken, I would need a hydro jet service to clear the line. At that point, I was being led to believe I was facing a very expensive repair. Something didn't feel right, so I decided to get a second opinion from another plumbing company. Within minutes of arriving, that plumber successfully ran a snake through the line and completely cleared the stoppage. No broken pipe. No camera inspection. No hydro jet. Just a simple drain clearing. I even had the plumber document his findings. I contacted TB Plumbing again to request reimbursement of my $85 service fee since two technicians failed to properly diagnose or resolve what turned out to be a simple clog. Although Roxanne was kind and understanding, the company refused to refund the fee and told me to take it up with my home warranty company. Based on my experience, I lost confidence in TB Plumbing's ability to accurately diagnose plumbing issues. What turned out to be a simple clogged drain was presented as a potentially major plumbing problem requiring costly additional services. I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before authorizing expensive work. That was my experience, and I hope it helps someone else avoid unnecessary stress and expense. read more

Needed a water pipe replaced on top of my hot water heater due to pinhole leak. This was a repair authorized thru my Home Warranty Company, Choice Home Warranty. The first plumbing company, Anthony's Appliance Services, came out, took pictures and submitted a report to Choice. They were scheduled to return a week later to make the needed repair but was not seen or heard from again. TB Plumbing came out, contacted the warranty company while on-scene and then made the repairs. They made the extra effort to satisfy my problem. They obviously cared for me, the customer. read more

TB Plumbing locasted in Seminole, Flordia the owner of this firm Is Constantine Vutov. Background: Our Rheem had rust stains and leakage within 1 year. As per the contract guaranted Rheem agreed to pay for all Labor, Parts and Unit. Well long story short, TB plumbing wanted to charge another $ 475 dollars on top of that as per Constantine Vutov the owner. Rheem will be informed of this attempt to bypass a valid guarantee and perhaps they should choose vendors that honor their guarantees. Rheem will be contacted and another plumber assigned. If you get assigned to this vendor, please ask for a different one. read more

Avoid these thieves, unless you like paying for unnecessary work they say is required per "company policy". Here's MY story. Purchased a Rheem water heater less than a year ago. Got a 'service required' warning light and no more hot water. Looked up the error code sequence and contacted Rheem to pass on all the info. Apparently Rheem contracts out to local plumbing companies to do any warranty work and got us in touch with these crooks. Rheem determined, same as the lead technician, that the hot water heater had to be replaced. Rheem pays for the installation of the water heater, which isn't really a difficult task. BUT these rip-off artists tell me they can't replace the hot water heater without removing the use of the perfectly good (only 9-month old hoses) and replacing them with new cpvc pipe at a cost of about $350 (which was told was a discount) to me because Rheem wouldn't pay for it. Can you believe the nerve of these guys? Anyway, I stated no way and contacted Rheem. After not responding to my early questions they finally did get back to me but just tried to come up with lame excuses about code. Don't believe whatever they tell you, look it up for yourself. The county code for my area clearly states the hot water heater must be installed according to the manufacturer's instructions. Nowhere anywhere in that code does it state hoses must be removed and new cpvc piping put in. If they tell you it's a code requirement they are flat-out lieing to you. There may be plumbers code to use new unworn hoses, but they didn't even give me the option to simply purchase 2 new hoses, they just wanted to shaft this elderly disabled veteran barely getting by with social security disability benefits. IT'S WRONG AND UNFAIR TO ALL! read more

This company was assigned by our home warranty company for a hot water heater that wasn't working. The tech came out, and in a manner that felt rushed, attempted to diagnose our issue. We didn't have much confidence in his decision because of how eager he seemed to call it quitting time for the day, and it turned out that gut feeling was right. His misdiagnosis of the issue led to a mess with the warranty company. Not only did he leave without fixing the issue (even though he didn't understand it and got it wrong, he should've tried to fix an issue as urgent as no hot water). He said it was sediment build up, denied under our warranty. I called back, before we knew it was misdiagnosed, saying hey, can you fix it? Warranty or not we need hot water. That was over a week ago and they never called back!! We called a competent company who tracked the error code and replaced a faulty valve and confirmed it has nothing to do with sediment build up. This should've been covered under warranty but we're out nearly $700 thanks to the misdiagnosis of TB Plumbing. Save your time and call a better company. If you're stuck with a warranty company selection, be aware you may be in for a long process of misdiagnosis and delays. read more

TB Plumbing is the most unprofessional vendor that you have ever sent to my home. It was assigned to my claim and visited my home on Monday, June 10, at which date the TB plumber said he would submit the claim to Choice Warranty for approval. I didn't hear anything from TB Plumbing so I called them on Wednesday, June 12, to get an update. I was told to call Choice because they needed the license of plumber that installed my water heater but that I would receive a return call to confirm. That call never came so I called Choice Warranty on Thursday, June 13, and was told that TB Plumbing never submitted the diagnosis from their visit on Monday10 and the representative sent them a text, which I received a copy. On Friday, June 14, I was told that the claim had been denied and I don't why because no one from TB Plumbing has bothered to tell me exactly what is wrong with my water heater or how much it will cost to fix. I reached out to TB Plumbing on Friday after receiving the email denying my claim and was told that someone would send me a quote. On June 17, I still did not receive any information about what is required to repair my water heater. On Tuesday, I called TB Plumbing again and spoke with Chloe, who acted surprised that no one had sent me a quote and said she would call me back. This ridiculous as I have been without hot water since June 2, and TB Plumbing doesn't care about its customers. If you get assigned to this vendor, please ask for a different one. read more
