I must be one of the few people to come here and not order a drink at all. I had heard that their snacks were good, so I stopped by for a quick bite to eat before heading to the park nearby. Luxury Crepe A ($8.95) - Although $8.95 feels a little high for the ingredients in this, it was actually quite good. The "crisper" is a large sheet of fried wonton and gave a great crunch that didn't get soggy over time. The green bean dough tasted like a normal crepe, but the egg and green onion added a nice flavor. There was a hoisin sauce as well which added a sweet/savory flavor, and the "sausage" is actually a hotdog, so I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a Chinese sausage. Very adorable little boba shop near Fenway! We stop here occasionally when we're shopping at hmart, and I'm always happy with my boba order. They have a large menu and great service, and even some food options which look delicious. They have a couple of tables and some board games, perfect if you need a place to meet up with friends. The boba portion was huge and although the pearls were a bit stuck together by the time I got my order, they were easy to separate with a good shake. The pearls were cooked very nicely- super chewy but not overcooked to the point of being mushy. I tried my drink with 50% sugar. I noticed that the sweetness in "brown sugar" series drinks is always tricky to navigate because you don't want to sacrifice the yummy brown sugar syrup even if you want a drink that's less sweet! This is a really friendly TBaar with nice employees which is why it pains me to say that it's just as bad as every other TBaar I've been to. I actually drank more of this milk tea than I probably have any other TBaar drink I've ever had and I've had plenty, but the consistent thing that I keep noticing is that it just doesn't do it for me. Oh my gosh! Teabaar is absolutely the best Boba I have ever had. So glad I found this place while looking for Boba spots on Yelp. I am in love with their dragon fruit tea! The nice big chunks of fresh fruit are so yummy with their delicious, fragrant tea and soft, chewy Boba. We tried the takoyaki while we were here as well. It was pretty good, but we found the squid to be tough, which was a little disappointing, but the tea makes up for it! We would love to try the crepe cakes they had advertised in the future! I'm glad I gave TBaar a second chance because I really enjoyed my visit this time. The first time I came, I didn't think my green milk tea was anything special and the tapioca pearls were a little hard with no flavor. I personally only care for honey boba where the tapioca is a little sweet. My friend liked her smoothie though. I decided to come back today because I saw that they started offering split cups, where you can order a drink with two different beverages. This is a bit pricier than just a solo beverage, but I don't mind paying a bit more if the drinks are good. My drink came out to be a little over $6 after tax. I didn't get any toppings (additional charge) since I wasn't pleased the last time and didn't want to take the chance. I got one side green milk tea and the other side lychee lime green tea and both were requested with less sugar. I asked for both 25% sugar. However, the lychee lime could only be adjusted to 75% sugar according to the employee, and I'm guessing it's because the green tea is flavored with lychee syrup that is sugary. I'm glad that he was kind enough to tell me but it turned out great and not too sweet when I got it. Both teas had a strong jasmine green tea flavor which was delicious and refreshing. Not so great that I would go on a 30-minute trek to get there like the brown sugar boba milk tea, but they are acceptable. You can adjust the amount of ice and sweetness level for most drinks. I've also tried the Chinese crepe and matcha crepe cake. They are pricey but delicious. There are two tables and bar seating overlooking a window. I usually don't have any problem finding a seat. There is free wifi, but unfortunately it's not the best study spot because there is no restroom inside. You have to go to Whole Foods a few doors down if you need to use the restroom. read more

I got the green milk tea and the tea is really high quality with its taste definitely cutting through the milk (so if you like a more tea taste in your bubble tea over sweetness, this is it). I ordered their Mr. Green Smoothie for the past few visits. No water or sugar is added so it's pretty refreshing and natural. Although the smoothie is a bit thick, it's flavorful considering all the ingredients put into it. The interior design of TBaar is very simple and cute. Polaroids are posted on sections of the wall. Menus are displayed on TV's. Outlets are next to most of the tables for charging. The WIFI password is also posted on the outlet. From the past few times I visited, there's always somewhere to sit even if it's a bit crowded. It's generally a nice place to chat with friends after a meal or to study, but know that there is no restroom if you have too much fluid in you!
