This is a solid bubble tea shop especially for Jacksonville. The variety of options means everyone has their choice of drink. Their fruit and milk teas have been solid each time we have gone. I would not say this is the best bubble tea I have had. But the experience is consistent and it's a good option on this side of town. Tapioca is chewy, slightly sweet, not soggy. This is something that is not standard on Jacksonville, which is sad. This place is reminiscent of chains in California where I recently went Bubble tea crazy, although it does not quite reach California level. It has been open for a few months now and they seem to have hit their stride. Don't expect everything to be made from scratch. This place is similar to Kung Fu tea and other chains. Great selection and variety! From juices to smoothies and a wide variety of snacks there is something to satisfy most palates! I will definitely be returning! I tried the fresh pressed juice-daily cleanse and I added lychee!! The staff was really helpful and everything tasted great! My one and only complaint would be that the pictures all show fruit and boba and stuff but you have to add that to your drink it's not included.. This place is amazing, especially for anime enjoyers. They have a shelving area with several different anime character statues. They have a massive Naruto canvas on the wall right as you walk in. And they also have all of the Straw Hat bounty posters on the back wall. It's seems their Brown Sugar boba tea is their most popular so I got that one upon my first visit. It is very tasty and they give you a cute drink lid with cat ears on it for that tea specifically. I've also tried their Thai tea, Cookies + Cream tea, and Dragonfruit Smoothie. I also ask for a bunch of milk foam on all of them. My personal favorite is the Dragonfruit smoothie but they are all amazing. Brown sugar milk tea had great flavor but too sweet and taro smoothie was lacking flavor and sweetness. Boba had great texture and flavor. Being that it was my first time, i didn't know about sweetness percentages being adjustable. It would have helped if they let me know. But then again i should have looked at the menu more closely. I didnt have high expectation for this place but they do a great job. I havent had a bad drink here and I drink boba more than water ok lol yes their drink is a bit pricey but nowhere near me has boba so i dont mind that much. 75% sugar is your best bet if you dont want too sweet. Brown sugar drinks will always be more sweet with all that syrup. I like the matcha brown sugar, fresh brewed oolong milk tea, and green tea with milk foam. Their milk foam is quite good surprisingly. They also have reward card (which i fill out quite quickly /cough/) The employees are very nice every time i come in. I like how they make the tea on the spot. Never try the juice but all the fruits look super fresh. I live nearby so i'll keep coming by. My sister got the brown sugar milk tea, 50% sweet. She said it tasted really good. It wasn't so sweet and creamy that you couldn't taste the actual tea, and she said the boba texture was good. What was interesting is their tapioca pearls are smaller than the average, more like pea-size vs garbanzo-bean size. Finally, a boba milk tea in my area! The place is always clean and cozy. They added more seating and comfy couches. The drink I ordered was not so good (speaking for myself only - Panda Green Tea) only because I dedcided to try something new and the green tea flavor was super strong. No worries though... I politely asked the cashier if I can change this out since I didn't enjoy my drink and they did with no hesitation or extra charge! I ended up ordering a Taro Milk tea with pudding and milk foam. What I love is that the drinks are super customizable - you can choose how much ice & sweetness by percentage. There are many other toppings you can add in but at an extra charge. Everything is super fresh - they jucie the fruits in front of you! They also recently added other things available for purchase such as Goldilocks prepackaged desserts, packaged Ube cakes, Yum Yums, instant soup, etc. I highly recommend this place (even though a little pricey if you add toppings) as they are clean, friendly, and fast. read more

Their drinks were delicious, we tried a fruit tea, a strawberry smoothie with tapioca pearls, and a taro root smoothie with tapioca petals.

TL;DR - Tbaar has the BEST boba in Jacksonville. I said it and I will say it again until they mess up. Their boba is consistently QQ (QQ = bounciness/chewiness) while other places have issues trying to get their boba even a little bit QQ. I gave this place 5 stars based solely on their boba--let that say something. Once I latch on to a good drink, I tend to never stray because I can't take the disappointment in my life. That drink for me here is the Brown Sugar Bubble Milk Tea and Matcha version of that drink at 70% sweetness. At 70% sweetness, it's still a bit sweet, but for some reason it doesn't bother me. The brown sugar dissolves in the perfect amount of time and with some aggressive stirring you can get everything mixed in a few minutes (if you want). The shop is well stocked with games so you can grab a drink and play some games. My games of choice are Jenga and UNO flip. It's a great hang-out or study spot and not too loud. What's my issue with the place? The service is never that great and it's a little bit of a drive. If you lived in the Northside or Downtown, is it worth the drive? If you appreciate a great cup of boba, then yes. If not, there are closer places with good-enough boba. read more

I am absolutely obsessed with this boba place and am SO GLAD it opened!! If it ever closes I don't know what I will do with my life. This is I think the only boba place on the west side of Jax. My favorite drink is the strawberry green tea with milk foam. It's more of a frozen slush drink topped with milk foam than just an iced tea, and only comes in a large size. They offer a large variety of boba tea drinks as well as fresh juices. I like how they have all of their fresh fruits out for you to see, so you know nothing is artificially flavored! The interior is adorable and anime themed. They have a display of figurines and One Piece banners and decorations. I also love their wall that has a schematic of boba tea. The staff is always pleasant and happy to answer any questions. Every time I visit my parents we come here since it's so close to our house. I make it a point to stop by at least once when I visit. They also have a punch card where if you buy 10 drinks you get one free. It seems like a lot, but you might as well get one if you come regularly! read more

This is a nice little juice/tea place to hang out, or takeout. They have a rewards program which is nice because who doesn't love rewards!? I ordered a Thai Tea, which as usual, comes sweetened. There is not an unsweetened version. It is a drink I highly recommend. It was a little more expensive than the Thai restaurant a couple doors down. I don't mind though because I want to support my people! I plan on going back soon and trying one of the juices with ginger to see if it helps with my nausea. A boba place nearby to where I just moved! At first I thought it was a good thing but now it's starting to get a little dangerous. My husband and I have been going here multiple times a week since they opened. The traffic isn't as high as opening day so the wait for the drinks aren't as long. Service is always friendly. Drinks range from $4-6 maybe $7 if you add things on. They do offer a stamp card so that's good for people who are boba addicts like me. I think it's a free drink after 10. We have tried the popular brown sugar milk tea (a little sweet for my liking but still tasty), black milk tea, sea foam green tea (my favorite) and Thai tea (not the best I've had). They have many other things such as fresh juice, lemonades and smoothies. They do have a sign that they'll make you a new drink if you aren't satisfied with the one you ordered. I haven't utilized it yet so I'm not sure how flexible they are with it but the option is there. This is our new boba place since it's near and pretty good. read more

Soft opening so things were kind of hectic I think. It took a while to get our order made but everyone was very friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my coconut milk tea. I wish they had popping Boba's but maybe they will get them eventually. The Brown sugar milk tea was absolutely delicious and I probably would get that next time!! The price is what you expect to pay anywhere for milk teas and such. They have a few tables and a sofa to sit on. I really liked all the cool anime figurines they have for decorations!
