I stopped into Nomnom Boba Tea to see if they sold Thai tea. I was in luck, they did! Nicole was super friendly! She suggested I add cheese foam to the top. It sounded kind of weird but I'm glad she made the suggestion. The Thai tea was delicious and refreshing. The cheese foam helped to scut the sweet flavor. I really liked the combination! There were no other customers so Nicole and I had a pleasant conversation. I am not a boba fan but I would definitely go back for some more Thai tea! read more

So I stopped in here with the kids and they went inside first then I went in to see what was taking so long. They told me there was a line when they came in. I was standing just in line with an opening behind the counter. I looked back a couple times and the person behind the counter lost their sh*t to be blunt. Started calling me out for the people I was with that they just ordered and went on about what I looked like. If this was the owner she was way out of line. If an employee then she should be fired. I said nothing from the start of the confrontation to the end. Weird situation to say at the least. read more

I can't say this is my favorite boba tea place. The flavors are very light and it's just a standard tea place. The boba is soft on the outside and hard on the inside. I'm more of a chewy boba girl. But do support a local business. The lady making the boba is kind and the service efficient. It's centrally located near the Mayo Clinic, so it's nice for employees. I think it gets most of their purchases from Eleven 22 churchgoers. I admit, I have high expectations for my boba tea since I'm Asian. Ambience is so-so. There are lots of places around town where they have cute picturesque walls or murals, and this isn't one of them. The music is very PG, so it's children friendly. They also have a small play pit for people who have kids, so I can imagine it being very convenient. Overall, wouldn't come here for taste, but if you want to support a local business owner (always good), or need a convenient place.to scratch that boba itch after church, then this is a very well located place. read more

I love Boba. I mean how can you go wrong with a a delicious tea with a special treat of popping pearls? I happen to notice this place after picking up dinner at my favorite Ramen restaurant. I came close to closing, so I was the only customer. When I reviewed the menu, I found so many choices. It really was hard to choose. I decided I want a milk less tea, so I went for the jasmine tea with honey and regular boba. It had a very unique flavor that I enjoyed, but it may not be for everyone. The boba hands down was my favorite part of the tea. I love that texture. I also have to say the cups and lids are very nice for the boba. They really are a nice quality. My last thing to mention about this place is they have desserts. I didn't get anything this time, but I think it's worth revisiting to get a nice tea and dessert after dinner. I saw Nomnom when I was picking up food close by and I decided to stop in about a week later to try their tea. The shop was clean and at the time of my visit, I was the only customer. I ordered the brown sugar milk tea with boba and the jasmine green tea for a friend. I always like to see evidence of tea brewing at boba shops, which suggests that they don't use powders or mixes for flavor. The teas were ready quickly and the brown sugar milk tea was good. It wasn't as sweet as others that I've had but I was okay with that. About midway to 3/4ths through it, it began to have a bit of an artificial taste. That may have been my poor mixing job from the start though. I liked the fact that even when I ordered the green tea without ice, they gave me a full cup of it. The boba was soft with a good consistency. Prices here seem on par with other nearby shops and in addition to teas, they also have desserts. I'll have to try those next time. It's always great to have more options, particularly in this plaza. read more

Tried it because it was the closest to my apartment. Cute entrance and menu, ordered a milk tea with brown sugar boba and saw the staff worker break apart congealed boba to put in my drink. I had happened to be at a restaurant next door & who says no to boba for dessert? Not I. The place is nice & spacious, you won't feel crammed while you are getting your drink. I got the usual brown sugar boba milk tea with cheese foam, & very much enjoyed my drink. Just the right sweetness & the brown sugar boba at the bottom sure was a treat. I will say that the cheese foam can be a bit more flavorful since it's supposed to complement the sweetness of the drink & I will probably skip out on this one next time. Ehhh. Person behind counter doesn't know what a slushy is I for slushy flavors. The Filipina lady behind the counter said she could do it for any of the flavors but with non dairy creamer. I'm a huge fan of Boba Tea Shops, especially in the Jacksonville area. The menu had several options to select from and different types of boba to choose from. This is not a one time stop shop because of the many menu items to try! I had the Thai Milk Tea with regular boba and it tasted great!
