Stopped in to try DNA on a Saturday mid-morning. Was happy to find there was plenty of parking. That may not be the case during the week due to the location though. Interior is really lovely and was unexpected. Service was friendly and helpful. My sister was excited they had a cookie butter latte as a seasonal offering and her granddaughter had the cute unicorn drink with cotton candy in it! I had a blueberry iced latte with blueberry cold foam. Everything was really tasty.

Breakfast crepe. It's huge and delicious!!!

Food is amazing! Very fair prices too! That's the breakfast crepe, DELICIOUS. Have a cite outdoor space and indoor is nice too with a lot of games for adults.

There's not enough good things I can say about dna coffee! It's a dope vibe, the service is wonderful and best of all the coffee is actually good. This is def one of my favorite coffee shops in Jax!

As soon as I walked in the gorgeous decor caught my eye. I love a cafe with nice decor and seating area. Makes me want to come back and get work done. My kids loved it too especially the games in the table. I forgot her name but the lady was so sweet and the boys said she was really nice. My kids enjoyed their drinks that they were gone before we left. I tried something new and it was really good. It reminded me of chocolate oranges I had when I was at my grandma's house.

It's In The DNA Coffee Shop is one of the coolest and most thoughtfully designed coffee spots in Jacksonville. The ambiance alone is worth the visit. Warm lighting, plants, beautiful murals, and cozy seating that makes you want to stay awhile. The furniture is especially unique, with coffee tables designed using Scrabble boards and chess boards, which adds a really creative, playful touch to the space. I ordered the Oakley Shaken Latte, made with oat milk and brown sugar, and it was absolutely delicious. Smooth, lightly sweet, and full of rich flavor without being overpowering, the kind of drink you end up wishing was bottomless. Everything from the vibe to the drinks feels intentional here. Whether you're coming to relax, catch up with friends, or just enjoy a really well-made coffee, It's In The DNA Coffee Shop delivers on all of it. Add this to your coffee shop list.

Place is decorated nice. Has small outdoor seating area as well. They have a physical menu booklet. Which I love. Seemed like a mom/ daughter owner. Very nice ! My drink was good. No complaints.

We stopped by this hidden jem for a coffee and was surprised to find delicious crepes and avocado toast! The coffee is strong and delicious, the service is friendly, like a neighborhood bar without the booze, and the atmosphere is modern garden. Comfortable spots to sit and sip or sit at the bar and chat with the barista. This will be my go to coffee spot whenever I'm in town for a visit!

If I could give more stars I would! Our first time here and we will be back. Great location away from the crazy traffic of five points. Cozy spot with bar and lounge type seating. Even a few places to sit outside. I didn't get her name but our server was fantastic! I ordered the Monkeying around and my husband the Floridian. Both were delicious and our server did a great job with the extra touches. We also sampled the Monte Cristo Crepes. So good!

I am going to give 4 stars for the time being... I would say the coffee was just okay.. the muffin wasn't bad, it was just okay! The sweet girl working wasn't sure of any question that I asked and had to call to ask. Just slightly lacking in quality service. The vibes were super cute and photogenic! The music was pretty loud and obnoxious so maybe not your study spot but for sure a hang out spot. I will give them another chance since they just opened and they have so many options, so I'll not make my final decision on them just yet! For now I'm giving 7/10 total experience.

Visited on their grand opening. The shop is in a fantastic location and the decor inside is cozy and inviting. They have a nice mixture of more couches and tables & chairs for working or casual meetups. I tried a lavender latte which was really tasty and the coffee wasn't bitter at all. I wouldn't say it was my favorite lavender latte I've had but I did not try any of their signature drinks. The staff was friendly. I'd definitely stop in again when in the area.

Highly recommend this place for coffee or specialty drinks. Service was great as well. However the food was okay and the portions are kinda small. Overall definitely worth a try. The decor is really cute and it makes for a great place to study.

Nice drink options and very tasty horchata drink. The crepe was just okay and could use more fillings of cheese. A wonderful and friendly barista and I'm looking forward to going back and trying more drinks and crepes.

It was pretty slammed when I was there so the employees were in the weeds for sure. But I was happy with my espresso. The location is right in the 5 points area so the walk factor is legit. The seating outside is probably my favorite part. Who doesn't like sitting on picnic tables in the end right.

Organic products throughout the menu, as well as some gluten free options ... which was exactly what we were looking for! When we arrived, we found this pleasant environment with ample seating outside. As we began to review the menu, the manager of the shop was very friendly and helpful in navigating their menu. Ultimately, I decided to sample the bacon, egg, and cheese wrap. It was quite good. I believe they used a cheddar that was a bit strong for my taste and would have preferred some milder cheese options (like provolone). Regardless, it was tasty. My only complaint (and this may be specific to me) is that they did not have a cola flavored diet drink to offer. Yes, I admit, I need my Diet Coke with my meal. So, I had to walk around the corner and find a place to sell me a soda. Other than that, a great option for a meal.

We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, they were phenomenal! Then we both decided on steak for dinner. I got the filet, and ordered it medium rare and it was perfect. My husband ordered the ribeye and his was medium, his was also spot on. Then of course, we had to get dessert. I got the German chocolate cake (this apparently isn't their normal one) and my husband got the dulce cheesecake. The waitress we had was great, and she recommended lots of tips and favorites to try. The only negative thing that I would say is that it's a bit cramped, so it was very loud and hard to hear each other at points. This was an amazing dinner. We will be back

Our waiter, Evan, was very proactive & offered suggestions with menu items. We started with some cocktails, the gentlemen with the cider beer & an old fashioned. I chose a glass of bubbly & the birthday girl had the fizz cocktail. It was incredible with a fresh blackberry puree. We started with the fried green tomatoes & the calamari, both were delicious! Calamari was prepared well and not too chewy. We shockingly each chose a salad: the bistro steak, the chop chop Asian, the goat cheese, and the salmon. Each one was incredible. Mine was the chop chop and I absolutely loved it! It was HUGE and you can bet I ate every single bite. Loved it!' We finished with the brownie topped with ice cream for the birthday girl, it was extremely tasty! Thanks again to Evan for making our night! He was a fantastic waiter! Would absolutely request him in the future.

I enjoyed the food; however, I think some details were missing or off for the price point. For example, the rib eye was requested for medium temp; however, it was medium rare and very chewy. The broiled ocean platter was kind of skimpy for the price point, and the shrimp & lobster diavolo were pretty good (though lobster wasn't very tender and slightly rubbery). I also wasn't given a pasta spoon- so had slight difficulty eating it. It took quite a while for us to get our food, approx 45 minutes? Our waitress was very kind and checked in- but forgot the lemons I had asked for- for the waters. We had inputted in our reservation request to not be in the center- and we were sat in the middle; though, 80% of the tables were empty. So, all in all, it was good but for the price point, I had higher expectations.

Didnt mind that it fell apart while i ate it, because that's what homemade vegan burgers usually do. But dont order this messy item on a date. I held the sauce. They let me sub a HUGE side salad for the fries. Enjoyed the vanilla ice cream a lot but not the apple tart. The tart was 90 or 95% cinnamon bun and i could hardly find apples. Fruit tarts are usually more fruit than crust; thats what i expected. Apple cinnamon bun eould be a better description. Beautiful ambience indoors. Lots of parking behind the restaurant at 4 PM on a Friday.

We loved the gambas al ajillo -- the shrimp had great flavor and just the right amount of heat -- and the grilled sourdough was perfect for soaking up every bit of the delicious sauce. A few things fell short, though. Our table for two felt cramped, especially since it was positioned directly against a wooden divider. I was facing the back of the restaurant, so as right-hander, sitting up against the wall felt awkward and made the space feel even tighter. I'm a huge fan of seafood stews and almost always order them when I see one on the menu, so I was looking forward to the Sicilian Stew. While the overall flavor was good, it leaned a bit too salty for my taste. More disappointing was the fish itself -- it seemed cooked down and stirred into the broth to the point where it acted more like a thickener than a distinct part of the dish. I would have preferred visible pieces of fish with more texture and presence. Overall, the staff was warm and attentive, the service was excellent, and the food arrived promptly. Despite a few drawbacks, I'd still be open to giving Taverna another try in the future.

The overall restaurant looked clean and great for a date night. We weren't feeling too hungry so we ordered the following based on the waitress and our friend's recommendations: 1) Crispy Brussels sprouts 2) Duck Fat Corn Bread 3) House made pasta + sugo The crispy brussels sprouts were a bit undercooked and lacked flavor but if you prefer a less crispy Brussel sprout dish I would recommend it over the duck fat corn bread. The duck fat corn bread was disappointing. It was an odd combination of flavors that did not mix very well. The corn bread was mushy and the crisp Napa cabbage with the random ranch/spicy sauce combo did not pair well and left my mouth feeling confused. I had high expectations for their house made pasta as they had a pasta maker out for viewing. The pasta was overcooked and every bite was an interesting mix of flavors...some bites salty...some bites unseasoned. There was barely any meat present and overall we ended up not finishing our meal and wrapping up the night. The only good thing we had was the homemade soda that I did not get a picture of but I believe was the hibiscus one. Overall I would recommend this place for drinks but not dinner.
