It's so sad to see that the owner Todd is a great person but unfortunately his wife has steadily put his business in the dirt. She has no class, no intelligence, truly reminds me of a teenager with ADD who can't shut her mouth ever. I hope Todd sees she has no skills of customer service and sadly this business will never survive because a woman who should be supporting her husband's business would rather talk so fast she seems like she's on drugs. Do NOT go there. The whole System is a scheme. They sell crappy cars so you bring them back to them and then they over charge you Trust me my own Father couldn't stand even hearing her voice. This shop takes advantage of women- they use the cheapest parts they can find even if it's not for your model. Annie, is a complete and utter monster- she will proudly say "yes ma'am" when you bring it to her attention her mechanic lied, she lied, and intentionally caused more work that "needed done." I ended up going to the dealership who clarified every lie about my part not being made and shed some light on who Annie and Todd truly are. If you own a small business and you think the only way to keep it open is ripping people off during times of economic crisis, you need Jesus and a business degree. Neither of which they have. I regret having gone to repair my car there they have Escro, I bring my car with an engine heating problem they analyzed and they asked me to pay $375 to replace the parts that were damaged that caused the heating of my car, three days after my car to heat up again I went home for that, they charged me $100 again for the analysis when they were the ones who had not done I would advise you to never put your feet there they are badly polite and they don't do the job good. read more

I have never experienced such terrible customer service until coming to TCB Auto. The owner was extremely rude and would just talk over you. I came to pick up my car after deciding to get it repaired elsewhere considering that I received a better price somewhere else, and she found this very offensive. I then mentioned that I was never told that I would have a $60 free for getting the car looked at and I recommended that this be told before allowing people to drop off their keys. The lady at the front desk "the owner" then followed up by stating "I don't care, and are you done talking". I never argued paying the fee I would just have rather been told prior to. She then started going on about "people like me". She would not let me get another word in because I was no longer getting my car repaired here. Coming from a very easy going person, this woman needs to learn decent communication skills before running a business. The worst customer service and such a bitter rude lady. Please do not come here unless you want to be treated and spoken to as less than. There are many mechanics in the area that will talk to you in a professional and respectful manner and this place is not one of those. -I also mentioned that I will be leaving a review explaining how badly I was treated/talked to and she mentioned she will be responding to it. So, please do not feed into her delusions as she is just bitter that I received a better price elsewhere. -To follow up she kept repeating that she has it all on camera. Do not trust TCB Auto. I was a satisfied customer until I caught them lying to me in an attempt to get me to spend more than $1000 replacing my A/C compressor when the problem was actually the tensioner assembly that was still under TCB's warranty. When I told them the problem was with the tensioner and not the compressor, they were rude and refused to honor the warranty. If TCB had been honest, my car could have been repaired in one day for under $100. Because they lied to me, I had to go over a week without my car, and had to pay an additional $70 to tow my car to another repair shop where I was billed almost $300. Since replacing the tensioner a month ago, my car and A/C have been working fine. Here's the full story. On 7/22/2019, the engine of my 2006 Honda Civic suddenly started rattling violently as I arrived home. After I stopped the engine, I was unable to start it again. I promptly had my car towed to TCB. The next day, Annie (the wife of the business owner) called me and said that the A/C compressor was locked. She explained that the cheapest repair was to install a used compressor for $491.64, but it would be less risky to install a new A/C kit for $1060.25. Annie also said they may have to replace the condenser ($215) and drain the coolant ($98). Through my own research, I learned of a workaround that involves bypassing the compressor pulley with a shorter belt so my car could run without A/C. After TCB refused to perform this repair, I paid them $21 for the diagnosis and had my car towed back to my home so I could put on the shorter belt with a friend. Later that day, when we attempted to loosen the tensioner to replace the belt, it would not budge. We then noticed that the tensioner was grinding into a pulley on the belt. My friend called over a mechanic, who confirmed that a bolt had sheared, causing the tensioner to grind into the pulley and prevent the engine from starting. He found no evidence of a problem with the compressor. The damage to the tensioner would have been easy to notice for an experienced mechanic. After popping the hood, the damage can easily be seen, yet Annie had made no mention of the tensioner previously. Because TCB had replaced the tensioner within the last year, the part and half the labor were covered under warranty. I called TCB and told them that the problem was the tensioner, but Annie was not available. When she called me back, Annie insisted the compressor was the problem, and said TCB would not warranty the tensioner without replacing the compressor. When I tried to respond, she cut me off, and hung up. The call was under 50 seconds. Because TCB gave me an incorrect diagnosis and then refused to perform the warrantied repair, I had to pay $70 dollars to tow my car to another repair shop where I was billed $300 to replace the tensioner and belt. When I picked up my car it was back to running normally. The next day, I drove my car back to TCB to give them another chance to honor the warranty. After briefly speaking to Annie, she left to get a mechanic, who continued to insist the compressor was locking. He claimed the locked compressor caused the bolt to shear on the tensioner and reiterated that TCB would not warranty the tensioner without replacing the compressor. I explained that my car was running normally, but he claimed the compressor could run for hours without locking. I asked why they had not told me about the tensioner, and he said because it was still under warranty. Even with the warranty, they would have had to inform me of the tensioner to give me an accurate estimate of the labor costs. Also, my family has reached out to several mechanics who agree that TCB's claims about the compressor are nonsense. I believe that TCB knew that the tensioner was the problem, but decided they could make a lot more money by tricking me into paying up to $1373 to replace the compressor. I now suspect TCB has lied to me in the past as well. Do not trust TCB Auto. Find an honest repair shop instead. read more

TCB Auto sells a lot of used cars under $4000. I visited a couple of weekends ago and test drove 3 cars which were priced just under $2000. I was hopeful to find a reliable vehicle to get me around...nothing fancy, with no major repairs needed. I liked all 3 vehicles and left feeling excited, so made an appointment a few days later to return and have a third party mechanic do an overview inspection just to be safe. Here's what happened: Got to the location and selected one of the cars. On my way over to the service station I stopped up the street to put gas in the tank (was on empty). Tried to get back in, door wouldn't open. Went back to TCB after getting back in the vehicle from the passenger side. Told TCB staff the issue and said maybe let's try another car. I was then told that the door was fine when I left and was mildly blamed for doing something strange to the door. Breathe deep breaths, count to three. Took a different car over to have it checked with a different mechanic. This is what he reported: - needs new brakes - all fluids were very old, hadn't been changed in a long time - leaking oil in numerous places - needs 3 new tires - needs new muffler and exhaust system due to rotting - needs tie rods replaced etc. - needs oil change - needs tune up I'm glad I spent the $50 to have it checked out. And I get it, buying a car for $1700 isn't supposed to be perfect. But if I am buying a car from an auto repair shop that also sells used cars, I expected a little bit better. I was fairly shocked that the fluids were extremely old, especially given their automotive expertise. They could have at least changed the oil. I don't know, I was bummed by the whole experience and feel they could have put in a bit more effort to recondition the car. They acted surprised when I came back and said it needed a lot of work. In the end we both wasted each other's time. And I don't like to blast anyone online, but I just can't recommend an establishment that lacks a certain amount of integrity. read more

Great car buying experience! It was hard for me to find the first time, but they have quality cars for low prices that they say are non-negotiable. Annie and Tod knew everything that had been done to the cars, they knew what they were talking about, they assured me they wouldn't sell a car that they knew would break down in the future, and they were very friendly and pleasant to deal with. read more

Bought a 2002 Dodge Neon from them for a good price - made repairs (minor) for free - said they would repair any problems I had for 30 days at half price- helped me out with a problem after the 30 days at a reasonable price - have always been helpful to a disabled senior citizen-can't say enough good things about them !!!!!!! read more
