However, I called for a reservation and at first asked for a table for 7. One more family member wanted to join, so I called and asked for 8. Was told no problem. However, no one wrote that down. Tried to seat our family outside in the blazing hot with mosquitos attacking my 2 year old nephew. We asked if we could sit inside. There was a table large enough. Was told it was for groups of 8. Well, that's what we had, but since no one had written the change to our reservation, it was an awkward wait to see if we could really sit there. Service was slow but we understood it was busy. When we were ordering, we were told by our waiter we weren't allowed to buy any additional sides. You only could get what part of a meal. We were ordering meals but wanted some extra sides of their side dish options. Was told this restaurant doesn't allow for that which is wild to me. When we asked to know how their baked potato salad was made/what was in it, our waiter (who said he'd worked there 4 years) could not tell us, but said he knew it was bad. We asked about the baked potato casserole, and his reply was it was "just a regular baked potato all mushed up". Clearly not selling us on either of those. Some people were setting up for a trivia night, and we had people coming to our table multiple times asking us if we were doing trivia. "No". Then a large group who apparently wanted our table just stood near; lurking and waiting for us to leave. ... My brother asked if they had a dessert menu. Our waiter didn't seem to know but went to ask and came back telling us "we do, but you'd have to wait another 20 minutes." What?!! We paid and left. We recently moved to Clinton and had heard some good things about this restaurant and decided to bring our family who was in from out of town, but what a horrible experience. From poor service, to rushed dining, to not allowing us to order items we actually wanted, I was simply blown away this was our first (and last) time to come here.

I normally get the red beans & rice and he normally gets the ribeye cooked medium rare-medium. This is our favorite spot for crawfish during the season because they're seasoned so well, just DELICIOUS. They have a good selection of beers to choose from & the caramel pie for dessert is my go-to. Service is excellent, amazing staff that feel very welcoming. The vibe is really relaxed, which we love. 10/10 would recommend coming here for steak or seafood cravings!

Our server Grace was a sweetheart. We had the BimBam shrimp appetizer. It was the best thing we ate. Generous amount of shrimp that taste good with a tasty sauce. The starter salads were decent. Homemade ranch was really good. Mike had the steak tips which someone has falsely told Grace that they are tenderloin trimmings. They are in fact tough sirloin cut into random pieces that were not cooked medium rare but rather medium well to well done. The potato was freshly baked but we aren't fans of foil wrapped baked potatoes as the skin is basically boiled. Props for the freshly grated cheese. I had the etoufee. The crawfish did not taste muddy but that is the only positive thing I can say about it. The flavor was mediocre at best and the trinity was still crunchy. A decent amount of crawfish tails. The glass doors as you walk in need to be cleaned and the rug as you enter looks like it could use a good shaking out. I had to use the light on my phone to read the dark gray menu. I wish we could like this place better but it's just ok. Our raccoons said they rate the etoufee and leftover steak tips a 5 but since they didn't pay $66 before tip they didn't get a say so.

The ambiance is what you would expect. Low lighting, white tablecloths and excellent service. I hate I can't remember my server's name because he should teach a master class on providing service. I ordered the salmon, cooked medium, with a side of asaparus. My mom and sister both got the 8oz filet. Mom got her's cooked medium with mushrooms, while my sister did medium rare with a side of housecut fries. All entrees come with a salad, and we all three picked the vinaigrette dressing. Salad and dressing needed salt. I hate I didn't go with another dressing because I would have really enjoyed my salad more. My salmon and asparagus were very tasty. My mom said her steak melted in her mouth. The side of fries were huge so we all ate some. They were really good! Momma and my sister got the bread pudding and I went with the chocolate chess pie for dessert. You can tell they make the desserts as they were soooo good! It was my first time dinning there but won't be my last.
