Great food - robust "food bar" as well as multiple (and frequent) meat offerings to the table. However, the best part of of the experience was our server, Chaz. Absolute Rockstar! I've been to many of these types of restaurants and they do a great job here. It's a bit more scaled down than you'd find at Fogo De Chao or similar, but for Idaho Falls I think it's a great size. They do a good salad bar, hot sides and hot dishes like rice and beans, mashed potatoes, etc. The meat was well prepared and we didn't have to wait long for drinks. I would say they're not as rapid fire quick with the meat as they are at the Rodizio Grill in SLC, but I still had plenty to eat and enjoyed my meal. My kids loved it too. Garrett was an awesome server. We have been here many times but tonight was my birthday and he and the crew made it extra special for our group. Edwardo (the chef) was awesome! We checked out Tchê Brazilian Grill for my Mother-in-Laws birthday. She has never been to a Brazilian steakhouse and she e thought it would be a perfect way to celebrate the occasion! A few of us in the group had visited a Brazilian steakhouse before, and had very high expectations and were looking forward to the experience. Off the bat Tche let us know they were different, instead of traditionally having it be green or red cards signaling you'd like to try the offerings of meat and having options upon options on meat, there are then a cold and hot buffet bet for sides, salads and traditional Brazilian cuisine bites such as the caramelized bananas or plantains, cheese bread and what not . Tche has a relatively simple buffet setup, a salad bar, with fruits and bread, a protein section with three meet skeer options and about 6 other proteins and a small hot section with a few pastas, breads, fries and what not. Needless to say, it was relatively a disappointment. The limited meet options were tasty, but they didn't really offer any of the other traditional cuisines and a lot of their sides buffet options just did not compliment the mains or cuisine. The overall space lacks character and doesn't feel upscale or ideal for a special occasion as I usually feel when visiting a similar establishment. Our server Frank, was friendly and the team did check on us periodically and snag our plates as well as kept up on refills. They also offered a complimentary beverage for my MIL, though oddly enough they bring out an entire tray of the desserts and let you pick one from the tray directly. It does make me wonder how long they sit out. The value was there, at $30pp for dinner, but I'm not sure it would convince me to return, as it just did not deliver on what I expect from a Brazilian steakhouse. read more

We had heard some not very nice things as everyone complained about staying in line to get the proteins. We were driving by and saw an online notice about table service for the proteins so we stopped by and we enjoyed everything. Our server, Logan, was attentive, made sure that we had everything that we needed and kept our drinks full which was very nice. The salads were tasty and looked great. My wife loves salads and is very picky but she loved them. The proteins were tasty, flavorful and in some cases were spicy. Nice complex flavors that were very enjoyable. This was our first time to Tche and it was amazing! They had great variety of fresh choices for the buffet salad and side orders (including a yummy cauliflower au gratin), and the gauchos were extremely attentive as well as our server. We would especially like to mention Cyrus, he was watching for us to be ready for more meat and seconds after we turned our indicator he was at our table with the meat! The whole crew was very impressive and worked very well together. Joy was also fantastic, he had a great personality and remembered I liked the spicy pineapple so he made sure to come back around to offer more Garrett saw me wondering about the Picadinho Chili and commented that it was a really good chili and answered my questions about the ingredients. Lexie was super on top of customer service and was at the ready to answer any questions we had and she was attentive to the needs of the staff too. I went on opening night and was not impressed with the meat choices for 29 dollars. They had three steaks- all very similar. I would have liked more options for meat and at the salad bar. Most of our cuts of meat were raw because they were taking them off the grill too fast. They kept running out of things like the pineapple and were slow to refill. Everything from the cauliflower, steaks, and fish were so salty that I couldn't eat much without feeling ill. I liked the pineapple, when it was available. My daughter is a pescatarian and they still charged the full price minus ten dollars for her to eat only salad and bread. My family did like the Mac n cheese. We didn't see our server often although she was nice. We had plates piling up and no water for most of our meal. We also waited a long time for her to get our check. Compared to other Brazilian grills like Tucanos and Rodizios in Utah and Boise, this place has a long way to go. With better meat options, more experience, and being more vegetarian friendly, this might earn another star. Right now, I don't think I will be back. The management was nice and did take feedback, and we understand that this is a new restaurant and there will be improvement as time goes on, but we were not impressed with our first and maybe last visit to this establishment. read more
