After calling and canceling my account with TCSN TWO DAYS AGO, they had the nerve to charge my credit card for March--I canceled on February 2, and they told me the would not refund payment for February because I needed to give them 30-day notice to cancel my account...and my service is broken down for about the TENTH TIME IN THE LAST TWELVE MONTHS. They refused to credit me for February, even though my service wasn't working AND THE TECHNICIAN NEVER SHOWED UP. Notice they have not received a good review in over a year! If you use this service, you can expect to be charged two months before your service, like being charged on February 5 for March service, even if you have canceled the account. Don't expect a response if you have a problem, I was told two days ago that the owner was going to call me. The woman who answers the phone just tells you "I just answer the phone," so don't expect help from her. I will also be contacting the Better Business Bureau and file a suit with Small Claims Court if I do not get satisfaction by Monday, February 8, 2021. read more

We were longtime TCSN customers. My folks used them all the way back in the late 90's. When I moved back to the area 5 years ago, I was happy to see that they were still in business (and pretty much my only internet option, besides expensive satellite internet providers). What a total mess this turned into. The place is disorganized and a total joke. Their business hours are hit and miss. Their billing and A/R is so disorganized I have no idea how they stay in business. Our internet was shut off TWICE for lack of payment, however I had PAGES of email communication with them literally begging them to charge my credit card on file (and when I pointed this fact out to Mike (?) over the phone, his smug attitude quickly diminished). If I could give no stars I would. I have never wanted to write a review so badly but if it helps others I knew I should. It's been since 6pm this afternoon that the Internet stopped working.. If it did work then only for one minute and i would be back to playing the guessing game. This has happened for about two months. Text after text has been sent and phone call after phone call has been made- I can show screenshots. From those screenshots you can understand that there is no response. I finally got to someone on the phone last Monday or Tuesday- was told they would call back. Let me tell you how they went... O wait no there was no call back. I live out off 46 and I understand the Internet can be bad but when they first came out we had speeds of 30 and always above 10, now the max I get is 6 and that's if I'm really lucky. I'm too the point 6 is fast for me but what I can't stand is how it constantly cuts out. Currently I'm revising for an exam and I had to extend the date once and I can't extend it again. Licensing exams are no joke and cost thousands to sign up for- I hate to know someone has don't NOTHING. It's disgusting to pay more than 100 a month and about 300 installation costs to have what? -- NOTHING Please please don't make the same mistake as us and if u have doubts or questions or want proof please message me and I'll show you. Update 6-20-16: the login issues have been fixed. The payment issues are as fixed as they can be. The PayPal transaction still hasn't been fully resolved. You still lied about waiving this month's fees as you threatened to shut off our Internet if we didn't pay because I wrote a bad review. That's a pretty shitty way of doing business and I'm sure everyone can agree on that. When you tell a customer you are going to waive the fees you don't backtrack on that due to not getting your way. Your Internet is still not a good value no matter what you say. 10mb top speed (never gotten higher than 9mb) and constantly going down for hours at a time, not a good service. Lying to my wife to try and piss us off isn't a great idea either. Also admitting you are monitoring which sites we visit and telling people is against the law. You're only allowed to divulge that info to police not other people. But I'm willing to look past your horrible business practices and I'll give your company a 3 star due mainly to the fact that I don't trust you to not mess with our Internet or our bank account again. Also I have no clue where you got your information about wiring the house. There was no cat5 run in the house that is correct. Mike stated that if we had the cable the tech would run it for us and knock some of the price off due to using our cat5. That never happened the tech refused. If your policy is not to use customer cable then Mike needs to be retrained (seems he needs it on several of your business practices). I never said I would install anything. When the tech stated it would be another hour and more money I declined as he was late for the 2nd appointment (1st one missed completely) and I had things to do. Update 6-8-16: now this is beginning to get out of hand. The owner has texted my wife over 25 times in the last 24hour period, while she's been at work and unable to respond. His main focus is on negative yelp reviews and not customer service, that's a backwards way to do business. You want good service to in turn get good reviews not the other way around. It seems from his texts and phone calls that the only way anything will get done is by giving him a good yelp review. Again that's just how it seems. The money issues are all taken care of for now. He's claiming that the sign in issues are due to our account being past due which is a lie as he told us he was waving this month's fees. And that we are due for cancellation tomorrow at midnight. What a joke. And the owner is now saying he's going to enter our home and remove the equipment without us being home. I have all of my bank statements from all of the fraudulent charges made by this company. Never once was I charged the correct amount for the service. Update 6-7-16: the $183.20 has been put back finally. Update 6-6-16: the $150 has been refunded but not the $183.20. The sign in problems are still happening which makes things difficult as we have a smart hub. The owner said he's waving this month's fees (I'll believe it when I see it, something tells me we will be charged for that plus more as we have been each month we've had this service) I'm sure more updates will follow. Update: the owner contacted us to try and work thru these issues. Once the issues are fully resolved I will update my review to reflect what has happened. This has got to be one of the worst companies I've delt with. Let's start from the beginning. We were told that they would "work with us" on the price as the signal is spotty at best where we are. There was no working183 with us. 89.95/month for 8-10mb wow talk about screwing people over. The install guy never showed up the 1st day, we had to reschedule. Then he was 2 hours late for the rescheduled appointment. We were told by Mike that if we had cable they would use it and knock some off the install price. The installer refused to use my cat5. The 1st month we were overcharged by $10 ($99.95) The 2nd month we were again over changed by $10. And then they charged us $125. They said that they were testing a new billing system and it messed up but a reversal had already been put thru. That was a lie. I had to dispute the charge with my bank. Then on June 1 they took out $150. Again they said a mistake and a reversal had been put thru. Called my bank and again no reversal. Then today they decided to steal $183.20 from my account. According to Mike he has no clue what's going on. Well I know what's going on. They're trying to steal money and it's not working. On top of all the attempted theft going on with this company they now have something so messed up on their end I have to log in with a random name and password like a Hotspot to access my home Internet. And again Mike doesn't know what's going on. My question is since Mike has no clue about anything why is he still employed. read more

I live in an area that is not served by any internet services, Uverse will not run a fiber optics line, tv cable will for $83,000!!!? So internet via satellite was my only option, however I have 16 units with mostly students or young professionals [heavy users]. I could not get enough bandwidth from any one. TCSN has solved my problem. I was however recently frustrated with an intermittent signal and thought, dang I'm going to lose tenants. But when the tec came out we found a bad power strip. Meet Arnie and Steven several years ago and told them what I wanted for network connectivity in the middle of no where and most companies gave me the same old speech of the massive costs and what I was not going to get. 5/19/16 UPDATE: Since April I have had personal attention from the owner "Arnie". Arnie was at my home and spend several hours figuring out what the problem with my connection to TCSN internet. I also have a follow up calls from him making sure my connection is OK. Arnie now has his eye on the ball and taking care of business and making sure his customer's are satisfied. Thank You Arnie! 4/27/16 I have been a long-time customer. Mike who answers the tech calls very polite very nice but customer service is not number one. Cannot get return phone calls cannot get return phone calls for home service. We pay for their Silver service and cannot even stream Netflix on our TV with the strength of the Internet. If I could give zero I would but Mike is very very polite, this company needs more employees to cover their calls.....CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING AFTER THE SALE OF YOUR PRODUCT!!! read more

TCSN is more than just an Internet provider. I have been with them for quite some time now, and yes I have used others in the past, but they cannot compare to the great personal service TCSN provides. I like dealing with a local business and knowing that when I call I am speaking to someone in the community I live in. Any time I have needed help with new hardware or software, they have been there to help me out. They have repaired computers for us and the service has always been fast and reasonably priced. My internet goes out for 3 days every week and I have to call them to turn it back on for some reason. They don't send an email or a physical bill to let me know when to pay it it's ridiculous. It's the option for where I live but if you have the option to choose other wise do it! Installation was done by a risky installer and it was a $250 for a job I could do myself. read more

The sign says it opens at 9 a.m. It is now 9:45 and no sign of anyone. I am trying to get some computer repair service. I thought I'd give them another chance after several problems with the repair service several months ago. At that time, I was told to return in a couple of hours so the tech would have time to do a scan. I did some errands, waited around, and finally returned to find that he hadn't started the scan. I returned the next day as he suggested. No work done. Returned a third time and sat for 90 minutes while he finally worked on it. Charged me more than he said initially. read more
