This is a Puerto Rican style chinese restaurant that recently opened in Bridgeport. I was excited to see this open so close to home. The restaurant is simply, but nicely decorated. The service was great. The employees were very sweet. We ordered the garlic chicken with chinese rice, crab ragoon and a coke. The food was freshly cooked and delicious. The wait was only10 to 15 minutes. The prices were reasonable. They also sell sushi, boba drinks, fruit infusion teas, and milk teas. I'd like to come back to try a steak sushi roll they had and some of the teas. The food hit the spot and service was great. We will be back for more....

The service was superb, and I decided to try the family platter special with any special roll for just $45, I samples four different rolls. The food was outstanding, though it was a bit cold when I visited. Then atmosphere was clean & spotless. I especially loved the impressive money tree they had on display.

The food was delicious and the service was good. I would recommend ordering before you get there unless you're eating there because it does take some time but the food is amazing.

This place has been opened maybe about 2-3 weeks now.I've been waiting to try it ever since. Every time I pass by the parking lot is full. This restaurant is a Chinese/Puerto Rican food fusion.I came here w/ my sis,her bf, & my niece. It's nice & vibrant inside. I got greeted by the person who was taking orders. She gave me the address & phone number to input on Yelp. They're not even online yet or have a website(that's how new they are). The menu actually has Japanese food as well. They have all kinds of sushi. They also have boba & whale teas.I ordered shrimp & broccoli w/ fried rice. The fried rice comes w/ ham, eggs,& scallions. I got minus the scallions. The order also comes w/ French fries. Thats the way Chinese PR restaurants serve their food. I ordered a 2nd round of California rolls for my niece & me. My sister & her bf ordered a whole bunch of food to share. Garlic chicken w/ monfongo(mashed plantains w/ garlic),pepper steak w/ fried rice & French fries,& carne Fritas (fried pork) w/ tostones(fried plantains). My niece ordered a brown sugar boba tea w/ California rolls. We were given a receipt w/ our number to be called. It took a little bit(that's b/c food is made by order) for our food to come out. I didn't mind the wait as long as my food was extra fresh. My order was very tasty all around! The shrimp were pretty big & cooked just right. The shrimp & broccoli sauce was savory & tasted good. The broccoli wasn't too hard or soft(cooked to my liking). My meal had a very large portion of fried rice. I wish there was more shrimp & broccoli(carrots as well). I forgot it also came w/ carrots. The mofongo & garlic chicken had took much garlic for my liking. The carne fritas were extra crispy & flavorful. The tostones had garlic ojo(oil) on them(which tasted yum). Tostones could have been crispier though. The California rolls were extra fresh & it was thick/packed. They were delish! Overall, the food was scrumptious! I would def be back. It's right around my house(real close by). The people who work here were extra friendly & nice! I want to give them a shot out for being so kind & wish them lots of good luck on their new business!

Was very excited to try this new place not far from home. The food was great. I ordered the fried carnitasl with tostones and garlic, the pepper steak with rice and fries and got the garlic chicken with mofongo. The service was nice the food was fresh so waiting a bit for me was not a problem. The restaurant is clean neat and well kept with some background music playing.

No real interaction with the staff but they are efficient. Place is clean with some space for seating. Funny conversation to eavesdrop on but a couple was on a date and the girl was talking about her psychedelic experience doing mushrooms and an alien god judging her about her network of friends...I normally don't eavesdrop but couldn't help it in such a small sitting area

This location is accessible via A train at 42nd Street Port Authority. Upon arriving there was a woman in front of me arguing with the staff persistently haggling the price to be lowered, but to no avail. Woman, no means no! There are other bubble tea businesses within the locale that may appease your needs, but not this particular Gong Cha whom apologized for the inconvenience of the inability to lower the price on the product ordered. As I waited patiently, I took photos of this business' environment. The staff stated the cash register is not working and currently unable to accept either credit or debit cards, but cash only payments. Ergo, I was unable to obtain a sales receipt nor a drink label printed. I wonder if the staff reboot the register or check their internet connection to be offline as the cause of non-functioning O/O/O. [1] Customer service is average. Well... if the staff can lower the price for one customer why not lower it for ALL customers? Surely, why not make my drink order as inclusion for lowering the price, please? Hell no, of course not! The conclusion was ironclad. In the real world, this cannot happen. As I stood on line waiting for this woman to let go and walk away from her argument I had shrunk to my own gnawing thoughts. I took photos of the atmospheric environment. There is a cute signage: "Bubble tea where refreshment meets creativity." The pink metal water bottle is very adorably cute which is something that I would certainly purchase. Peach green tea, medium $7.25 My favorite default topping grass jelly (aka herbal jelly) loeng4 fan2 涼粉 is my standard request for $0.75 which was good, but not served chilled. At 30% sugar level request, it was slightly higher in sugar content. Former NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg would shake his head at me in disbelief with disapproval and disappointment for consuming this excessively sugary drink. The peach green tea was not the cause of the sweetness but a man-made sugar embed measurement error. Nevertheless, this Gong Cha satisfied my bubble tea fix as it is now my addiction - in addition to my other addiction, writing. [1] O/O/O = Out Of Order

Tiger Sugar in Flushing has evolved into more than just a bubble tea shop. I walked into a bright,…read moremodern space near the Flushing subway station, and I noticed immediately that this location has expanded into desserts, pastries, cream puffs, and specialty sweets. It is an easy stop whether I am looking for a drink, a snack, or both, and its proximity to public transit makes it one of the more convenient bubble tea options in the neighborhood. The brown sugar fresh milk remains the signature order and the reason many people keep coming back. I tried it and the drink delivered the rich caramelized brown sugar flavor Tiger Sugar became known for, paired with chewy boba and creamy milk that stayed balanced without becoming overwhelmingly sweet. Variations like the brown sugar pudding milk and taro pudding fresh milk offer a slightly different texture while keeping the same rich, dessert like profile that defines the menu. What separates this location from many other bubble tea shops is the dessert selection. I also grabbed a cream puff, which received as much attention as the drinks. The shell was flaky and the filling was generous, making it feel like more than an afterthought. The strawberry cream puff regularly draws attention, while items such as éclairs, cakes, and mango pomelo sago give plenty of reasons to browse the pastry case alongside ordering a drink. Even if I am not specifically looking for bubble tea, the bakery side of the shop provides enough variety to justify a visit. Service moved efficiently, and the space felt designed for quick stops rather than long stays. Whether I stop in for a classic brown sugar milk, a cream puff, or a combination of both, Tiger Sugar offers a reliable mix of drinks and desserts that makes it easy to understand why it remains one of the neighborhood's most popular sweet treat destinations.
