My son's reindeer pancake was losing his eyeballs, which made us all chuckle. They had run out of roast beef by the time we got there. We arrived at 1 and got a table around 1:50 PM on a Sunday. (We thought we might be avoiding the post-church crowd, since they close at 3 PM. No such luck). Be prepared to wait for awhile. The lure here is definitely the decor and not necessarily the food. The old fashioned was pretty average and something tasted very artificial about it. Banana bread appetizer was the best thing. Go for the photo ops, not necessarily for the food and beverage. My review is for That Pop Up Bar which is in restaurant that was TD's Tailgate/Twisted Cafe. I went for the Christmas theme 2 weeks ago and loved the decor. The banana bread was amazing but I did not like my Dagwood sandwich. The Dagwood was soggy and needed a different bread. They were out of roast beef so I could not order what I wanted. Service was good but the wait was over 30 minutes for a table. If you want a cool Holiday vibe this is the place to be. read more

I appreciate all the different salad options and cannot say enough about how delicious the oriental chicken salad is. The fried pickles used to be spears and now it's chips and that's disappointing, but their ranch is superb so it's al good. This is one of my favorite places by far! I've never tried much other than their Cajun chicken pasta and I'm not sure I ever will it is by far the best pasta I've ever had in my life. It is always seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their other entrees look delicious as well I'm just loyal to the pasta. The restaurant itself is awesome they have game nights and trivia's some days which is cool something I wasn't aware of until recently. And it is very clean you can tell the staff cares. The servers are unprofessional and ignore customers. When I stopped in one day the server was awful - unprofessional and she wanted to chat with fellow servers instead of waiting on us and other customers. Unfortunately for us we could see the servers all gathered in their area talking in groups instead of waiting on us. They seemed to lack management and focus. ONE positive is the food was good. Ambience- upbeat family sports atmosphere. Plenty of tv's with sports and music videos Appetizer wise, we tried the pretzel bites and mozz planks. Very good. The marinara is fantastic. We actually ordered a second order of the planks. For the entree I had the Godfather burger, my wife had the Chicken Philly and my son "built his own" grilled chicken sandwich. Burger was fantastic. I really like their food however each time I go the service is terrible. I have in the past gone on a trivia night and I attributed the lackluster service to the restaurant being extremely busy however I went tonight and there was not anything out of the ordinary going on. Truthfully they were fairly slow. I went to the restaurant with my nine year old child and the host gave her a kid's menu but neglected the crayons. She asked our waitress for crayons and the waitress interrupted to talk over her and speak to me. My drink was given to me without a straw, I wasn't even asked if I wanted one. We were handed our food and five minutes later asked if we wanted dessert or the check. I asked her to come back and check later and she stood there and asked again. I love the food but this restaurant really needs to invest in training their staff! read more

This place has become a regular stop for me because I'm in North Canton a lot these days for family reasons. I must say, I'm stymied by the negative reviews, but 1) I've visited since some of them were written, so maybe some issues have been addressed and 2) I always sit at the bar, not at a table. They have an extensive menu ranging from appetizers and dips to salads, sandwiches, tacos, a variety of macaroni and cheese, rice bowls, mashers - a variety of foods served over mashed potatoes, seafood, and more. They are known for their fish tacos, which are quite good. I've also had the flat iron steak, the buffalo chicken sandwich and coconut shrimp. I've had excellent, attentive service at the bar, and the bartenders all interact with the customers in a friendly, jovial manner. As the name states, this place is a great place to watch sports - there are TVs not just near the bar but all over the restaurant. It would be easy to discount this place as a sports bar with the usual fare , but to me, the menu is more extensive than that, and that's what I like. The beer selection leans heavily on American macro brews, but there are a couple Ohio craft brew selections available on tap. TD's Tailgate offers a loyalty card that you can use to earn points at either this location or the one in Canton on West Tusc, as well as at Twisted Citrus, located next door to the North Canton location. As part of that, I've received frequent surveys by email from ownership, who seem focused on maintaining good food service. I enjoy eating here and plan to continue to do so when I'm in town, especially when there's a big game I want to catch. read more

Have tried to like this place since it's in such a convenient location but the service is always lousy. Tonight we arrived and waited at the front door. No sign that said to wait and a number of servers glanced our way with no acknowledgement, so we seated ourselves. Chose a booth that was soaking wet. Couldn't find anything to dry it, with so changed tables. Waited a bit before server came with menus. A few more strange glitches but finally ordered. My turkey burger had an odd flavor that I couldn't place. Neither could table mate. His burger was enjoyable but nothing special. We could not get servers' attention for another cocktail nor water. She was busy eating, drinking, staring into space and laughing with someone that came in to visit. I finally caught her eye for the check. I understand this place just opened, but holy crap did this place suck. Its attached to the unfinished resturant next door which has cleaning fumes eminating from the door filling the whole resturant. It was like holding a sharpie marker under your nose for the better part of an hour. Which makes your food, no matter what it is. Taste like nail polish. On the plus side, i think it hightened the carbon monoxide levels in my blood so much it gave me a good head buzz. PREGNANT WOMEN AND ASTHMATICS BEWARE! The service was fine, when they werent standing in a gaggle discussing whatever. Miraculously all three people in my party managed to get jacked up orders. Which you dont even mind, because youve been waiting so long and huffing fumes for so long you just want to scarf whatever they put in front of you and leave ASAP. The food itself is far from fresh, the meat is unseasoned, the broccoli has brown spots, the oranges on the salad are out a can, and the french fries come luke warm. Have been to this location & off Tusc several times. The food is typically bar food, but a definitely step up from the chain restaurants. Shrimp tacos, wraps, & they have some of the best fries- seasoned/batter- not sure what they do but they are great! If I rated only on food- they'd have a 4 or so. Service is always spotty... I ordered takeout once and my order was never rung in so I had to wait another 20 minutes once I arrived to pick up. No visit from a manager or offer to try to make anything right.. and still refused to take a coupon I had. typically when dining in, drinks & refills take a while. I can't say I've ever had good, memorable service here. If the service was better and more consistent, this would be a great spot with more stars. read more

Never ever will I go to the North Canton location again. My friend and I went in it was a Friday at lunch and they were out of FISH. Then when we did decide what to order we waited and waited and waited. Others who had come in after us ordered, were served and eating. The waitress came out to tell us the cook burned our food, so we waited some more and the food came and it was horrid. The waitress was rather child like and not well trained. I have gone to the Jackson Township location many times and have never had a bad experience nor bad food. And the service there is beyond good. The only reason we did not go to that one is they are no longer open during the day for lunch. What a shame. read more
