Well this was our first time ordering from here. Purchased a 9 piece deluxe pizza and meatball appetizer. The pizza was doughy and skimpy on topping and truly no flavor. I tried to salvage for the next day lunch as we only ate 2 pieces, by cooking longer in oven on a stone. Still blah. I called to speak with mgr; the lady who answered phone listen to my concerns when to get mgr. , the mgr. was busy so took my number and stated would call me back. Well now Saturday no call. My family went to Michael D's following my father's calling hours and there was about 20 or more of us and we were fortunate enough to be seated in a room off of the main bar. We had a deluxe pizza, a 10 pack of original hot wings and a side of meatballs and the food was delicious. The service was excellent and the environment was casual and relaxing and we were able to enjoy family time together and our waitresses did a great job serving us. I recently had breakfast at Michael D's Cafe. I ordered eggs, sausage links and hash brown. Eggs weee done well, hash browns were plentiful and warm. The sausage links were great but only two of them. The service was not good blur our waitress was tasked with serving the entire restaurant which is not optimal. First time coming in here. Kind of a confusing layout. Carry out pizza shop, bar and then a more customary restaurant. Three different rooms but all connected. We went to the bar section. Very service for a bar that was less than half full. We almost walked out since it was taking so long. Long wait time just to get a drink ordered. Even longer wait for the food. Once the food came, it was very good. Which bumped the rating up to a 2 star. read more

A hidden Gem! Food is fabulous & the service! Definitely recommend it! They have a inside bar to watch all of your favorite sports game and have a great meal. Dining room which is a more quiet and cozy setting great place to take the family! The patio is amazing and a wonderful place to spend some time at during the summer months! No need to worry the patio is heated and stays open all winter long! They always have a DJ on the weekends & I love that he plays music videos to every song! They run amazing food specials and offer many wonderful meals made by Chef Lloyd! A lot people assume it is a place to get pizza, wings and bar food! Which yes they offer all of those things (if your craving pizza and wings you have to try theirs, YUM) but their chef makes insanely delicious meals! The Michael D's coupon drew us in. The food brought us back two weeks later. The establishment has a bar and separate dining room. We chose to eat in the dining room which is tastefully decorated and quiet. The menu offers appetizers, salads, sandwiches and entrees. The dinner salad, served in a chilled bowl, included onion and was topped with shredded cheese, crisp croutons and accompanied by dressing of the diner's choice. We both ordered pork chops and are inclined to base our decision on whether to return on our satisfaction with their preparation. These were served with a glaze that complemented the meat perfectly. Our sides were crispy golden brown steak fries. We agreed before finishing the meal that we would return. Our second visit was last night. She ordered a skirt steak medium rare (it was tender and prepared as ordered), hot peppers and asparagus. I opted for veal marsala which was accompanied by angel hair pasta. Again both dinner salads were excellent. Our entrees were, once again, outstanding. We both brought home leftovers which will be adequate for light dinners. Service on both occasions was prompt and courteous. The four dinners were priced at about $15-$16 each, plus drinks. Food is ok, typical bar food but it is a bar. The issue is the bartenders, they are incredibly rude. The service was awful all night, it was not busy so there really was no reason for it. Then we witnessed the bartenders yelling at a customer who was questioning his tab, she was cussing at him & being very nasty. He did get rude back & she acted so offended like he had nerve. We hadn't been here for quite a while due to the change in staff (our favorite bartenders are no longer there due to management is awful) but we had out of towners who wanted to try it. We were embarrassed that we took people there & will not return. As soon as I find my receipt I'll post names so management can address the rude bartenders. One was a short skibby mouthy brunette & the other was a little chubby with long fake blong hair & Where's Waldo glasses. Both working last night. read more

I recently had a horrible experience here. I was not surprised as the service has gone progressively down hill. First off if you are not a regular do not count on good service. It is just the way it is. The night I went, there were 12 people there and the NCAA finals were on. You are forgotten about, not paid any attention, and your food seems to come out whenever it's convenient for them (35 minutes). Maybe it is time for some new fresh bar tenders. The pizza is always good and the patio is very nice but for now I will probably take my business to Lobys or the winking lizard to watch sports on a patio. read more

This is the adjacent bar to DeMario's Pizza. I will review this as the bar only, as I believe all the food comes from DeMario's. The bartender was friendly and helpful; the bar seemed to be generally popular with an older crowd. The beer selection was average at best, but they did have GL christmas ale still on draft, so it was a no-brainer for me. Any of the food at DeMario's can be ordered at Michael D's as well. They have a good amount of TV's and the place is clean and tidy. I am not sure I will be back to the bar - they seem to have little to offer other than the basics. read more

Michael D's? More like Michael A+'s. I had the pizza and it was the best Midwest style pizza I've ever had. You'll want to tell all your friends, but don't tell the cops bc the sauce is so good, it's damn near criminal. The only rival to the quality of the food was the quality of the service. The bar tender was attentive and very personable without coming off as fake. Open air patio was well lit and had TVs w/ multiple games on. Neighborhood bar atmosphere but welcoming to all. My wife and I recently went here and sat at the bar for dinner.The bartender came over looked at me only and asked if I wanted a drink I said ill have a coke. First visit to this establishment for me - for my best friend's birthday. She ordered the chicken tenders (usually an appetizer but the portion is huge) because she absolutely loves them. Prepared fresh every day with tempura batter, they are unique and the taste is amazing! I ordered the pan-seared walleye (fantastic - kudos to the chef) and chose rice pilaf as one of the sides. The rice pilaf was seriously the best I have tasted in at least ten years! My salad was a good size and tasty (and the complimentary bread is both crusty and tender). The dining room is smallish but was filled when we arrived early on this Wednesday evening, The bar (next room) was full, including tables, and the crowd had spilled over into the "outdoor patio" area even on this cool"ish" March evening. After our excellent meal, we got a chance to try two of the cheesecake varieties for dessert, thanks to the AKM's recommendation. I like plain NY cheesecake, but am not normally a fan of the "fancier" versions. After this experience, I have definitely changed my mind! In short, I did not expect to find this level of culinary sophistication in a Canton restaurant with a mid-level price point - but now that I have, I will be a frequent visitor! read more
